He looks around and finally finds the wolf tracks again, which he follows inside the building. He runs towards the stairs, and he feels uneasy because they're dead silent. “I guess they are underground.”

Meanwhile, Kyuuzaki & One arrive where Hikaru was, and all they could see was pitch black. The trees and bushes are covered with black substance. 

“What the hell happened here….” One felt uneasy.

“All I can see is pure darkness, and it feels like–” Kyuuzaki forgot the words, but it was so uneasy.

One crouches down and grabs a branch, pokes, Stabs, and swings the pitch-black substance. Confused, he calls out to Kyuuzaki to run a test with him.

“This is odd.” One keeps poking the black substance.

“Why?” Kyuuzaki leans down.

“It's like poking into nothingness.” One continues to poke back and forth at the black area of the forest.

“That doesn't make sense, but let's run another experiment.” Kyuuzaki grabs a vine and ties it into a chunk of rock. Then he threw it at the pitch black substance of the forest. There is no sound, and no visible signs that the rock is there. Although he can freely use and move the vine back and forth.

“Very interesting…” Kyuuzaki pulls the rock slowly, and it’s still in the same shape. Nothing special happened, and the rock did not change in the slightest.

“Ok that is strange…” One looks around the area.

“Sadly, we can't run a full experiment on this, but I'm going to take a look if there's a sign of corrosion on the trees. While you check if there are living beings in the area that might have been affected.” Kyuuzaki looks around the trees that are partially covered with the black substance.

Kyuzaki goes to a tree and looks up to see if there is a sign of corrosion. Meanwhile, One looks around for small animals, and he sees nothing. One opens up his flashlight to the pitch black substance, and no light is reflecting back.

“That's strange.” He proceeds to point the flashlight outside the substance and to a normal grass patch beside him. Meanwhile, Kyuuzaki sees One's shenanigans because of the flashing light, then he walks up to him.

“What was that about?” Kyuuzaki continues to wander around.

“So apparently light doesn't travel through this substance.” One continues to flash the pitch black area of the forest.

“Oh, that sounds interesting…” Kyuuzaki is still walking around the area.

“So how are the trees, and did you find anything useful?” One stands up and kicks some rocks towards the black substance.

“There's no sign of corrosion or anything else.” Kyuuzaki shrugs, and he proceeds to track the wolf tracks. Then he and One proceed to continue their search for the wolf prints. Eventually, they found human footprints, and they figured that it must be the kid’s footprints. They start tracking it down once more, and following the trail on what is left behind.

Back at the 'abandoned' building, Hikaru proceeds to go downstairs, and he enters a giant room. The walls are full of scratches, stains of blood, chains on a corner, abandoned weapons, etc. Then there are Three giant doors at the opposite of the room, and they simultaneously open. The doors behind him shut, and the room got brighter.

“I definitely fell into a trap.” Hikaru sighs.

“Yes you did.” The voice sighs.

Three animals emerge from the three giant doors, and they slowly walk out from the shadows. A giant deer that has mechanical parts around its body and face canter forward into the room. Its eyes are glowing green while the machines around its body are hissing. A hawk also emerges from the door, flies around the room, and lands on top of a broken turret. Its wings are made of steel, and it’s hissing from the mechanical parts. Then the final animal walks out the door, and it is a brown bear with metallic gauntlet claws. Hikaru gulps, and a bead of sweat crawls at his temple, and he simply smiles. “Hello, I'm sure that you can understand me.”

The hawk answers back with a deep, authoritative voice. “Yes, we can understand you.”

“You see I'm lost, and I can't find the exit. Can you show me where it's at?” Hikaru smiles sheepishly and scratches his head.

“You know that was the best acting that I have seen in my entire life. I will definitely believe what you have just said!” The voice preaches in a Hikaru on his great response. Hikaru’s soul felt like it was crushed into a thousand pieces.

“Do you think we are fools?” The deer responded with a fierce tone and annoyance.

“Ah well you got me…” Hikaru laughs at the animals.

Before anyone notices what just happened, Hikaru is already behind the bear and kicks him. The bear flew away from the kick and sent him through the metallic wall. Hikaru grabs the deer's antlers, and he tosses him upwards while twisting his body. 

“I'm in a rush, so please get out of my way.” Hikaru lands on his feet.

“What just happened…” There is a fear in the Hawk's eyes, and he instantly flies upwards. His metallic wings shimmer, and sharp metallic feathers appear.

“I'm getting used to my speed now, but I may stumble a little bit.” Hikaru jumps upwards while the deer is in mid-air. Then he kicks the deer down to the ground, and he stumbles on the landing after.

“Was that the same move that the wolf did to you?” The Voice chuckles at the flawless mimicry that Hikaru did.

“You brat!” The Hawk screeches and throws his metallic feathers and dive bombs to Hikaru.

“Dodge now!” The voice guides Hikaru’s movement, and he continues to run around.

The hawk screams, and the whole room crumbles. Hikaru is trying to figure out how to deal with the hawk, and the voice suggests something.

“Break the ground with your strength and use those crumbled rocks to throw it back right at the hawk.”

“Ah that's an interesting idea.” Hikaru begins to stomp and crushes the floor under him.
Hikaru grabs a few of the rocks and tosses them to the hawk. The hawk dodges the rocks and continues to fly around the room. The bear that was kicked to the wall earlier can finally move, and it's heading towards Hikaru. He continues to barrage the hawk with the rocks, and the hawk is hit by a chunk of rock. he was stunned for a moment and landed on a huge, destroyed machine.

“Watch out, the bear is behind you.” Hikaru dodges the attack from behind and kicks the bear, and for the second time he flies away. Hikaru backs off the fight and stands on a pile of rubble.

“Alright I know we are in the middle of the fight, but I want to let you know that…” Before the voice continues, the deer also gets up from its feet. His horns start to glow green, and the deer swings its head. A massive wave of energy blasts Hikaru away from where he is standing.

While a fight is going on in the underground laboratory, Kyuuzaki and One arrive in front of the abandoned building. They split off and they scan the area, and after a couple of minutes of searching, they both land at the entrance of the building.

“It seems to be that they are inside the building, and it doesn’t make sense because there are no signs of wolves.” Kyuuzaki looks around with unease.

“Shall we go inside then?” One draws out his katana and smiles through his gas mask.

Kyuuzaki snaps his fingers and shakes his head. A few moments later, A small circular drone from his back pocket flew around him.

“I know you are eager, but let's send my drone first, and I only brought one.” Kyuuzaki guides his drone inside the building. All he can see is abandoned laboratory equipment and broken items all over the place. One jumps back and starts swinging his sword in the air. Kyuuzaki continues to scan the place, and everything is dark. There is blood at the place, but claw marks, and destroyed machinery. The place looks like there is no sign of life, but he can see clearly the wolf prints all over the place.

Back in the giant room of the underground Lab, Hikaru is a dark smoke-like substance swirls on Hikaru's arm, and it forms like a huge shield. Then it absorbed the attack that came from the deer.

“To continue what I'm saying…. Not just a physical boost has been amplified. You also gained A specific power.”

A black smoke starts to crawl around Hikaru, and the deer and hawk look at him with uneasiness. The hawk tries to stop what Hikaru is doing, but He slams the ground. The hawk is startled by the smoke, and he loses sight of it. Hikaru is already above him, and he slaps the hawk that sends it flying across the huge room. After the black smoke clears out, Hikaru lands on his feet while a dark cloak made out of smoke envelops Hikaru. A small black wing also protrudes from the cloak, and a purple haze surrounds his body and envelopes him.

“That's impressive.” The deer glares at Hikaru.
