One and Kyuuzaki arrive at the room where Hikaru was. They looked around and they were mortified by what happened to the room.

One and Kyuuzaki arrive at the room where Hikaru fought the three animals, and all they can see is chaos. There are mountains of ice everywhere, the hawk is unconscious on the ground, and the deer is also unconscious. But what bothered them the most was the bear with no hands; the chest and face are caved in. There is blood everywhere, and the black substance that was around the bear.

“There's no way a kid did this.” Kyuuzaki looks around while covering his nose.

“These black substances that we saw earlier in the forest are very similar or probably the same stuff.” One kneels down at the foot of the deceased bear.

“That kid fought these kinds of animals in this place.” Kyuuzaki looks around and wonders what this building is about.

“I guess it's not an abandoned structure where the wolves lived. There are more animals than we thought.”

“I guess it’s not just wolves that live in this place, other animals too, and they also look so modified as well.” One points at the hawk with metallic wings, and the deer with metallic legs and some parts of its body.

“Let's be careful and prepare for a fight just in case an animal might attack us.” Kyuuzaki looks around and avoids the black substance.

“I found the door, and he should be near us, right?” One looks at the big door, and they walk straight to it. The first hallway is long and dark, while they prepare for a worst-case scenario, another door opens right in front of them. They see a long white hallway, and there are multiple doors. At the end of the hallway, they see a black figure with small wings floating on the floor. 

‘Hikaru’ walks around the long hallway, and he feels like someone is looking behind him. This aura is familiar, but why is that? He looks around and sees the two people whom he doesn’t recognize. One of them has a gas mask with messy undercut hair with three bangs, while the other one has a spiky two-block cut.

“Oh, it’s him!” One looks cautiously at ‘Hikaru’, and he clenches his sword. Meanwhile, Kyuuzaki waves at him with a smile, but One blocks his way using his left arm.

“Why?” Kyuuzaki backs off.

“Something is very different. I don't know why, but we have to be cautious.” One glares at ‘Hikaru’, and his gut is telling him not to approach him at all costs.

“Hello.” ‘Hikaru’ replies back to Kyuuzaki, and he smiles back at him.

Did the kid meet them before my awakening? ‘Hikaru’ cautiously talks to the two strangers.

“So how have you been?” Kyuuzaki asks with a smile on his face.

They're not approaching me, and one of them is very cautious of me. Plus, he's injured, and the other one isn't. These two are just playing along, but I'll guard up just in case something happens. ‘Hikaru’ maintains his distance from both of them.

“I've been good, what are you doing here?” ‘Hikaru’ tries to gain information, so those two people look very dangerous. One whispers to Kyuuzaki that his behavior is very different, and he is supposed to lash out or react when he sees him.

‘Hikaru’ starts walking towards them, and One holds his sword firmly. Kyuuzaki has to assess the situation now, or it's going to be ugly. Then he steps in with a smile and shoves One aside.

“We have been sent here to investigate the lab because of the animal cruelty that has been happening here.” Kyuuzaki glares at One to let go of the sword or else.

 Dammit I have zero information to these people. Although the injured guy with the gas mask seems to be wary of me, and the other guy isn't…. Did Hikaru do something to him? Plus, these people are skilled enough to fight me.  While assessing the situation, he notices that the person with the gas mask is very cautious of him.

Let's see if this works... ‘Hikaru’ provokes One by mocking his current condition and how weak he is.

“So you have survived after all.” ‘Hikaru’ smirks at his injuries while pointing at him.

“Of course I would survive that, and I was toying with you.” One answers back in a firm tone and scoffs at him.

Doesn't he remember that I killed those two soldiers right in front of him? One wonders why ‘Hikaru’ Can’t remember anything about what he did. Kyuuzaki steps in to break the tension between them to try and ease the situation.

“So, VH, why are you in this place? Did you get captured by the wolves and now you're trying to escape? If so, we can help you get out of here.” Kyuuzaki reaches out his hand and offers help.

Wait, I thought this kid's name was Hikaru… that's strange. Why are they calling him VH? ‘Hikaru’ is confused about the situation, and he tries to play it off.

“Yes, I was captured earlier, but I'm trying to find something else too. Also, it's not just wolves here, there are multiple wild beasts luring in.” ‘Hikaru’ walks a couple of feet closer.

“Well, the exit is that way if that's where you want to go.” Kyuuzaki steps aside while holding One’s shoulder firmly, and silently telling him not to engage.

“Oh, thank you. I thought it was the  other way.” Hikaru passes by them, and he walks toward the door where he came in.

Seconds felt like hours, and everything seemed to be calm and slow. One finally snaps, and he shoves Kyuuzaki aside. Then he unsheathes his sword, and Kyuuzaki stumbles back a little.

“Fuck this.” When ‘Hikaru’ arrives at the door, One teleports behind him and stabs Him in the back shoulder. ‘Hikaru’ gives a death glare to One, and he grabs his sword. Kyuuzaki scratches his head with annoyance and stays where he is.

“Who are you?” One asked while shoving the sword even deeper into his shoulder.

“Why do you need to know?” He grabs the katana and throws it away, and he punches One on the stomach to put him down. One kneels in pain, and “Hikaru” looks at Kyuuzaki.

“You seem to be a reasonable person, so tell me what is your real motive here?” He steps on One's head to push him to the ground. Then he looks back toward Kyuuzaki again and uses One as leverage.

Kyuuzaki realizes that who he is talking to isn’t the kid he talked to before. “It seems you don’t know who we are, so we are going to introduce ourselves. We are an assassin that was sent by the general who is hunting you.” 

“Why?” ‘Hikaru’ is ready to break One’s arm while he glares at Kyuuzaki.

“I have no idea, but can you release One, please?” Before he releases One, he knocks him down, and he loses consciousness. Then he teleports right in front of Kyuuzaki. ‘Hikaru’ kicks Kyuuzaki, but he manages to block it. Although his arms feel so heavy and numb so he has to back off again.

“Wait, calm down, VH or whoever you are. I'm not here to fight you.” Kyuuzaki looks at One’s unconscious body, and he raises both of his arms.  

God damn this is a completely different person…. Besides, I  was going to do that later.. Oh well, this might be the best time to make the deal. Kyuuzaki smiles as he looks at ‘Hikaru’.

“You're trying not to fight me, why?” ‘Hikaru’ cautiously asks Kyuuzaki about the situation.

“I have something you may want, but let's make a deal.”  Kyuuzaki opens his arms and lowers them.

“A deal?” ‘Hikaru’ takes an interest, but he remains cautious while looking at One’s unconscious body and his own.

“Let us go, and I will give you what you may need in the future. “ Kyuuzaki grabs the small box and the rune in his left pocket. He opens the purple shard, and it glows even more when it is handed to him. After giving the shard to ‘Hikaru’, He asked why he was on the abandoned building in the first place.

“I’m here to save someone.” ‘Hikaru’ says firmly.

“Do you need my help?” Kyuuzaki grins, and he walks towards One.

“I don’t know what your true intentions are, but drop the act. You may have given me this shard, but I still won’t trust you.” Kyuuzaki shrugs it off, and he kneels on One.

“You have no reason to trust me. I’m just giving something that you have lost.” Then A howl echoes from another room, and they both look behind them. ‘Hikaru’ runs toward the noise, and Kyuuzaki drags One to safety. A huge door opens, and A huge wolf jumps into the room.

“So the big bad wolf has come.” Kyuuzaki glares at the werewolf.

“So we have met again.” Taiyō smirks while his machines are hissing and glowing behind him.

“I knew you would come, that's why I sent those animals to hunt you. Since they have failed, I’ll  have to deal with you myself.” Taiyō grins at ‘Hikaru’

“Where is the fox?” ‘Hikaru’s’ eyes glowed and the room shook. A dark energy shook the room.

“Why would I tell you that?” Taiyō replies.

“I tried to reason with you, but I'll end you here.” He blinks beside the wolf and punches him on the stomach. Taiyō grabs his arms, and ‘Hikaru’  tries to budge, but he can not move. Taiyō charges up his beam and blasts him point-blank on the face. Kyuuzaki is a little worried about what just happened.

“Is that all?” The blast didn't faze him, but there was smoke all over his face.
