“Are you the same person from the other day? Who are you?”  Taiyō tosses him away and backs off a little.

“That doesn't matter, and all you should worry about is giving the information that I want. Then I'll let you go like nothing happened, and if you don't give me the information that I want…”

“My identity doesn’t matter, and all you should worry about is your life. I tried to reason with you, but you won’t give it. So if you tell me where the fox is…” “He blinks behind  Taiyō, and His whole right arm is covered with pure darkness.  While his eyes are glowing purple. “Then I'll have to end your life.”

“Is that so?”  Taiyō looks back and dodges the punch while whipping his tail. He pounces on him, but ‘Hikaru’ kicks him away.  When  Taiyō is about to charge another beam, ‘Hikaru’ teleports under him to close his jaw.  Taiyō’s mouth explodes from the blast, but he quickly regenerates the damage.

Oh, it's about to go down. Well, this is a good time to observe how strong VH is. Kyuuzaki takes out a steamed bun and takes a bite out of it. He looks down at One, and he is still knocked out. Taiyō starts blasting ‘Hikaru’, but every attack he tries to do, he misses.

‘Hikaru’s’ speed is gradually increasing, and Taiyō struggles to keep up. After dodging a slash from Taiyō, he jumps up and lands with his arms. Then his arms take the shape of a dark blade and slash Taiyō’s tendons. The werewolf screams in pain, and he kneels. ‘Hikaru’ kicks the werewolf away and glares at him.

“Where is the fox?” Taiyō smirks, and he doesn't say anything, and ‘Hikaru’ flies towards him. He grabs his left arm and breaks it. Taiyō howls in pain, but he resists the pain. Then he grabs ‘Hikaru's’ shoulder, and he tries to crush his shoulder.

“Sorry, no can do, you can't inflict any more pain on this body.” ‘Hikaru’ grabs Taiyō’s right arm, and he lifts with no effort. Taiyō is now frustrated and he starts to get nervous.

“Final warning. Where. Is. the. Fox.” ‘Hikaru’ released another ominous energy and glared at him.

“I will never say where she is.” ‘Hikaru’ crushes his right hand, and he grabs his neck after. Then he flies right above his shoulder and grabs the machines behind him.

“I suppose you won't be needing this now.” ‘Hikaru’ grabs one of the machines and takes it off. Taiyō screams in pain, as he lashes out and grabs him by his feet. ‘Hikaru’ shakes it off and kicks him away while holding the cylinder machine.

His fighting skills are pretty good, but he is still holding back. Kyuuzaki continues to eat his steamed buns.

“Give that back to me!!!” Taiyō winces in pain, and blood trickles down on his back.

“What about we struck a deal? You can have this little machine of yours, and I can have the fox back?” Taiyō agrees, and he points out where the fox is.

“Fine. She's at that hallwa–” Before he could finish, ‘Hikaru’ stops him.

“No… No… Not like that, I'll be clear and specific. You will get the fox and go back here again. Then you give her to me alive.” Everyone in the room feels the bloodlust that He radiates. Taiyō shivers from fear and keeps a defiant look. He leaves the room and goes back where He is keeping Krista. While One woke up and he felt the bloodlust from ‘Hikaru’. He thinks someone is trying to kill him, and he looks around while Kyuuzaki is beside him, eating his steam buns.

“Where am I….” One squeezes his head.

“Well, you're finally awake.” Kyuuzaki munches on the steam buns and offers him one.

“Wait…”  One recalls what just happened, and he looks and he finds ‘Hikaru’ standing in the middle of the room. He also refuses the offer from Kyuuzaki, and looks at ‘Hikaru’

“So you're not that kid from before, aren't you???” One asks.

“I am not.” ‘Hikaru’ glances at both of them while waiting for Taiyō.

One scoffs, and he looks at Kyuuzaki while he stands up. Then he questions the current situation while they are in.

“Why is he still alive?” One asks.

“The wolf disrupted our fight, and I had to back off on their conflict. Plus, I was looking out for you while potentially fighting two enemies at the same time.” They continue to stand at a certain distance while maintaining their guard up.

“Well, what now?” One whispers.

“We just wait because I don't think this is a good time to horse around.” While Kyuuzaki eats the steam bun that he offered One earlier.

“Says the one who is eating steamed buns.” One rolls his eyes.

After a few minutes had passed, Taiyō arrived while holding Krista inside a cage.

In those few minutes, it felt like hours, it would never end. Then Taiyō arrives while holding a fox inside a cage. Taiyō puts down the small cage and slides it towards ‘Hikaru’. He tosses the machine toward him, and Taiyō catches it while attaching it to his back.

“Hello Krista.” There is no response from the fox, and  ‘Hikaru’ is confused because he knows Krista has a telepathic ability. The fox is just staring at him and is confused.

“This isn’t Krista, where is she?!” On the back, Kyuuzaki grabs One’s shoulder, and he drags him very slowly. He is also warning him that it’s time to leave the room, and things will be complicated soon.

“I think it's our cue to leave One. Maybe next time.” Kyuuzaki laughs nervously while his grip on One’s shoulder might break him. Taiyō laughs, and he starts powering up once again.

“You thought that you could get everything that you wanted very easily, didn't ya? Don't worry, she's still alive for now.” When Kyuuzaki and One are about to leave. ‘Hikaru’ glares at them.

“Did I order you to leave?”  Kyuuzaki and One stand still while ‘Hikaru’s’ glare makes them shiver into their bones. They want to move, but if they do, they might die right there and now. They didn’t dare to look back, and they simply answered him. They were both too terrified, and they simply complied. ‘Hikaru’ teleports behind the werewolf, and he slams him into the ground.

“You can hurt me as much as you like, but you will not be able to kill me. Since I have the fox.” ‘Hikaru’ grabs his throat, and he drags Taiyō to the room where he came in. ‘Hikaru’ did not even bother the existence of One and Kyuuzaki.

“So, can we leave now?” One asks while ‘Hikaru’ is in the other room fighting the werewolf.

“We are hunting him, remember? Besides, his presence alone made me shiver.” Kyuuzaki twitches his eyes.

“Oh yeah, I totally did not forget about that! Since we are only here for I don't know sightseeing?” Kyuuzaki just looked at him silently.

“Fine, fine, let’s stay and see what happens. But if he escapes again or lives, I'll blame it on you.” One sighs.

“Don't worry, this is the only escape route.” Kyuuzaki looks back at the empty room.

One has a flashback because ‘Hikaru’ went through twenty-five floors underground like it was nothing. He tries not to laugh at their current situation, so he simply looks at the blank ceiling.

“Mhm yeah totally.” One agrees.

While ‘Hikaru’ and Taiyō continue to fight, the temperature of the room is slowly rising. The werewolf begins to activate a certain mechanism behind his back, and he kicks him away. Meanwhile, ‘Hikaru’ is trying to communicate to the fox telepathically.

“I will never tell where she is.” The Werewolf snarls and pounces towards him. He blocks the attack and kicks him away. Then Taiyō bounces off the walls to hurl himself towards ‘Hikaru’. He dodges the attack once more, but Taiyō uses his tail to smack him in the face. ‘Hikaru’ holds his ground and grabs his tail and slams him to the ground. He punches him over and over while the werewolf retaliates.

“What is your play here? Beat me up until I beg for you to stop?” “Hikaru” ignores the question, and he kicks his face. He calls out to Krista telepathically, and he continues to beat up Taiyo.

“Krista! Can you hear me?” Taiyō laughs at him, and he backs off from ‘Hikaru’, and he takes a deep breath.

“Is this all you can do? With all that power, you are so powerless.” Taiyō laughs, and the temperature continues to rise.

“There is no point talking to you.” ‘Hikaru’ clenches his fist and looks at him. He is ready to launch another assault on him.

“Alright, I will make you a deal: if you defeat me, I will definitely tell you where she is.” While Taiyō is talking, his chest is starting to glow Red, and it is slowly pulsing. An upside-down flame is slowly forming on his chest, and his body is slowly growing, and the machine starts to pump faster while smoke is coming out beside him.

“Don't tell me this is the same situation from earlier…” ‘Hikaru briefly recalls what happened to the bear.

“So it seems it came to the point that one of them had to go all out to go against you. Although it seems to be a total failure, I suppose. Sadly, those runes were not the real ones because I tried to replicate them.” Taiyō scoffs.

“Rune?” ‘Hikaru’ Asks with caution.

“Since you will die soon, I might as well give you a small lesson since you are about to face the real one. Let me explain it very briefly… There are 11 different types of runes, and what I have here is the Flame rune. In order to obtain this rune, you will need 15 shards, and eventually they will fuse into a rune.”  The Atmosphere around them starts to heat up, and Taiyō is slowly approaching “Hikaru”. Each step Taiyō takes leaves a flame footprint. He tries to slash “Hikaru”, and he is still superior in speed.

“Thank you for the information, and it will be valuable to me in the future. Besides, you will be the one who is going to die here, and not me.” Taiyō inhales, and the temperature around them begins to rise rapidly. While his machine is on his back hiss and, he fires a massive fire blast. Then he slams the ground, causing a massive earthquake. When the smoke clears out, ‘Hikaru’ is unfazed by the attack. A black smoke slowly dissipates around his body, and he looks at the werewolf. He rushes towards Taiyō and gives him a three-punch combo. After the combo ‘Hikaru’ dodges the slash, and goes around him. Taiyō predicts the attack and kicks him to the wall, then he smiles.

“Burn.” Taiyō takes a deep breath, and his mouth glows bright. Then he fires a beam of flame and hits his arms. When ‘Hikaru’ is about to drop on his knees, he teleports beside the werewolf and kicks his ribs, then sends him back to the room where One and Kyuuzaki are.

“State your business here, and why are both of you just standing there?” Taiyō glares at One and Kyuuzaki.

“We are here for him.” Kyuuzaki smiles while One looks at where ‘Hikaru’ is.

“How peculiar.” Taiyō looks away from them and puts his guard up.

‘Hikaru’ walks on the fiery path, then he cracks his neck and stretches his arms. He grabs a chunk of rock and tosses it to the werewolf with blinding speed. ‘Hikaru’ runs faster than the rock he threw, and he is now behind Taiyō. ‘Hikaru’ winds up a kick before the rock lands. Taiyō doesn’t realize that ‘Hikaru’ is behind him, and it is too late for him to react. The rock and ‘Hikaru’s’ kick hit Taiyō simultaneously to the face.

Taiyō stumbles from the attack, and he kneels while ‘Hikaru’ is maintaining a safe distance between them. Meanwhile, Kyuuzaki and One give Him a thumbs up for a well coordinated attack. When ‘Hikaru’ approaches Taiyō, the atmosphere gets denser, and he grabs his shoulders. Taiyō, One, and Kyuuzaki struggle to breathe from the pressure that ‘Hikaru’ emits. 

‘Hikaru’ breaks his shoulder, and he howls in pain. Taiyō lashes out while he attempts to bite ‘Hikaru’, but he dodges the attack. Then he punches the wolf on the gut and breaks his right shoulder. The snap of the box made the werewolf scream in pain. ‘Hikaru’ grabs his neck, and he slams the werewolf down to the ground. A loud crunch breaks the machine behind his back. Taiyō quickly recovers and kicks him away.

‘Hikaru’ lands on his feet, and he stares at the wolf. Taiyō inhales deeply and charges up his attack. The flame rune on his heart starts pulsing rapidly, but ‘Hikaru’ stares at the Werewolf with no expression in his eyes. ‘Hikaru’ dashes forward while Taiyō shoots the flame from his mouth. ‘Hikaru’ dodges the incoming attack and closes his jaws shut. He immediately punches the werewolf to the heart, and the werewolf starts coughing blood. Taiyō starts to crawl away from ‘Hikaru’, and he starts coughing. He looks over his shoulder, and all he can see is ‘Hikaru’ slowly walking behind him.

“You stabbed the kid right through his chest, so I will do the same to you. It’s only equal after all.” ‘Hikaru’s’ arm starts to envelop a dark smoke, and it slowly forms into a blade. Then he stabs Taiyō from the back, piercing his heart. He tosses the dead werewolf on the side, and he glares at One and Kyuuzaki to not move an inch. Then he vanishes in thin air, leaving them both confused.

“Where did the kid go?” One wipes his sweat while his body is shaking in fear.

“I think he is trying to find where the fox is.” Kyuuzaki answers back while gulping and wiping his sweat.

‘Hikaru’ arrives in a new room. The white long hallway with multiple doors extends where eyes cannot see. He starts yelling Krista’s name, and his voice echoes throughout the long, empty hallway. After a couple of minutes of wandering by, a voice starts to whimper in a corner. ‘Hikaru’ rushes to the voice, and he finally sees the fox, then he fries the metal door with ease. 

“Krista! You are finally safe.” Krista looks at ‘Hikaru’, and notices his demeanor and behavior are different.

Thank you for saving me. ‘Hikaru’ smiles and he walks out of the room, and after a couple of minutes of running across the long hallway. They arrive where Kyuuzaki and One are. ‘Hikaru’ looks at them, and he focuses on Kyuuzaki.

While ‘Hikaru’ is holding the fox, he punches Kyuuzaki to the stomach, and shoves him towards One. Then he walks away without looking back at either of them.

“I will let you both leave this time, and the kid's name is 'Hikaru.' I don't know why you are calling him VH. As for my name? I won’t tell you guys yet. Perhaps in the future, you will know who I really am.” ‘Hikaru’ walks away while carrying Krista and leaving the two of them in the white empty room.
Kyuuzaki recovers from the punch, and He stands up and pats his clothes. He pretends that ‘Hikaru’ took the shard, and he panics. He looks around to empty his pocket, and no purple shard is in sight. One sighs and pats Kyuuzaki’s back.

“Oh, that kid is slick.” One laughs, and they head toward the exit of the underground laboratory. Kyuuzaki realizes that ‘Hikaru’ did, and he just simply smiles.
