“Look, I mastered most of the weapon class, but this is a completely different thing.” Kyuuzaki tries to improvise by using the flames on his arms like a gauntlet.

“Yeah, it's obvious. She tried to keep up, but she only had one rune. What could go wrong?” One smiles, and he walks forward.

Dr. Snow creates an Ice nest at her feet, and a snowflake symbol inside a circle forms behind her back. “Are you implying that I only have one rune?” 

One & Kyuuzaki answers with hesitation. “Yes?”

Dr. Snow smiles as she summons three giant stone hands behind her back. She summons another hand underneath her and lifts her up. While she looks down at both of them, she smiles.

Kyuuzaki claps his fiery hand and looks at One with disappointment. “You jinxed it One congratulations, I’m very proud of you!”

One ignores Kyuuzaki’s mockery and focuses on Dr. Snow. He looks up and he prepares for anything that might happen. “Holy shit she has two runes?!”

Dr. Snow summons multiple icicles behind her back, and the temperature drops drastically. She slams her hands down and a barrage of icicles rains down on Kyuuzaki and One. They both block the attack but Kyuuzaki’s defense is slowly withering down. One yells at him to hold on while he keeps on swinging his sword, and he is also trying his best to hold on his own.

While Kyuuzaki and One continue to block the icicles, she waves her hand, and multiple stone hands rise from the ground. The hands begin crawling towards both of them, and they both jump away with ease, but they both get hit by the icicles. The stone hands crawl even faster, and One is caught by one of them. He slices the fingers, and he rolls back to grab the katana from his back, then he tosses it to Kyuuzaki.  One kneels down while he continues to block the attacks.

This is overkill. I bet she isn’t even going all out yet. Kyuuzaki draws the katana, and he takes a deep breath and his blue flame slowly turns into a white flame. He imbues his Katana with the white flame, and he looks up at her. Dr. Snow chuckles; she is amused that he manages to improve his abilities in a short time frame while she thinks of a silly name for her next attack.

“Doctor's gift: Giant Ice boulder!” Dr. Snow’s hands twist and turn while the air around her starts to freeze, small particles start to permeate around he,r and the temperature drastically drops. Her Silver hair flutters, and the ice begins to transform while she is continuing to attack One on the side.

The giant ice finally transforms, and Dr. Snow stops attacking One. Everything falls silent as the giant ice looms above them. She slams down her hand and the giant ice rapidly descends to the ground; While One and Kyuuzaki brace for the impact. Kyuuzaki have other plans and he takes a deep breath while he looks up at the ice.


Before the ice touches the ground Kyuuzaki swings up his katana and yells with all his might “White flame of the abyss: Horizon Slash!!!” The white flames crawl to the blade of the katana and he slashes the giant ice into multiple pieces. The Ice explodes while he uses that to his advantage to grab One to create a plan.

Dr. Snow smiles while she continues to weave her arms. “Good, and now I will amplify things up!"

She terraforms the room with an Ice biome; Every corner of the wall is now crawling with ice, A towering Ice-shaped hands looms every corner of the room, and gigantic spiky boulders surround them. She also created an Ice and rock shield that encapsulates her.

“Okay Kyuuzaki what the hell is the plan here?” One shudders from the cold.

“Let's combine our abilities, and you rush in while I defend on the side.”

One charges up and amplifies his sword then he looks at her. Dr. Snow summons another boulder and hurls it toward them. Kyuuzaki slashes the giant boulder as he screams: “White flame of the abyss: Vertical Slash!!!”. One rolls his eyes when he names his attack again, and all of the sudden he gets hit by a huge Ice hammer beside him. One crashes into a nearby ice glacier, and his wheezes. Kyuuzaki at the incoming rocks that is about to hit One, and he finally recovers from the attack.

“Let's go!” Kyuuzaki grabs One’s arms and hurls him toward Dr Snow. She reinforces her ice and rock shields when One is about to slice through it. A loud thunderous crackle hits the shield, and it slices through the ice shield. Yet the rock and other remaining shields are in perfect condition.

One was baffled at the durability of her defense, and Dr. Snow terraforms the ground she is stepping on and One stumbles his footing. As One is about to slip off to the ground the rock and ice shield begins to crumble. Dr. Snow emerges from the rubble while she is equipped with an Ice and rock gauntlet. She grabs One’s arms and strikes an elbow to his neck; Without letting her grip go she also punches his face, and the gas mask slowly cracks. She sends another blow to the stomach and sends One back to Kyuuzaki who is also about to charge at her.

“So you finally want to do hand to hand combat?” Kyuuzaki gives the Katana back to One, and One also sheathes back his sword while he also puts back the katana.

“What's the fun of attacking your opponent from a distance?” Dr. Snow crunches her knuckles and her red eyes glow as she smiles.

Kyuzaki & One drop of their weapons and they charge at Dr. Snow. She grabs Kyuuzaki’s hands and tosses him on a small glacier, and punches One using her ice gauntlet. Then She sweeps his legs, and kicks him away. Kyuuzaki charges again, but Dr. grabs his feet and swirls him around and kicks his back.

“Are you really a doctor?!” One blocks her punches, but the ice gauntlet is making his arms burn. So he backs off again and switches with Kyuuzaki.

“Yes, I am, and I practice combat on the side.” Dr. Snow grins and blocks Kyuuzaki’s punch then she redirects it to One’s face.

“So you're a combat doctor!” One blocks the redirected attack and kicks her stomach. She stumbles and Kyuuzaki takes advantage of the small opening to punch her. Dr Snow smiles and dodges the punch and counters it with an elbow to his ribcage. She sweeps him to the ground.

“Not bad, both of you are good.” One charges again, and Dr. grabs his face with a rock gauntlet and slams him to the ground. She also dodges Kyuuzaki’s kick and grabs his feet using her ice gauntlet, then she tosses him upwards. She tosses One away, and she jumps back to regain her footing.

One begins to breathe slowly to calm himself down, and he blitzes towards her. She runs towards him and grabs his shoulder and uses him to flip over while she slams him to the ground to knock him.

“So this is what a double rune user feels like to fight against, huh?” Kyuuzaki laugh,s and he charges at him. Dr. Snow redirects all of his attacks and punches while she attacks all of his vital points. She shoves him away while holding his arms and chops his nape off to knock him unconscious.

“Not bad. Both of you are worthy of your runes.” She walks away and finds her lab coat on the ground. She spends five minutes trying to find her glasses and it is lost in the rubble. She ties her silver hair up, and her security finally comes in, giving her a big sigh.

“Can you please help me escort these two to my clinic?” Dr. Snow smiles shyly while the big stone hands are carrying One & Kyuuzaki’s unconscious bodies.

“Yes ma'am….” One of the security asks if she went overboard, and she said no. She tries to hold back as much as possible. One of the security guards sighs and gives her another set of glasses. She happily accepts the expected gift and bows her head.

“This is the 7th time this year, please don't lose it.” One of the security guards pokes her forehead while they carry One and Kyuuzaki’s bodies to her clinic.
