" Please, stop! " little Ragna cries as his limbs are nailed while in front of him stands a fox-like woman who shows him the heads of those he knew.

" Hahaue (mom), Vater (dad), Shadow... " Ragna calls the names of those heads, his mom, his dad, and his beloved black golden-labrador dog Shadow.

Ragna sees the fox-like woman, who grins at him while her body is clothless, covered with blood.

* The fox-like woman smirks and touches Ragna's stomach. *

* Thunder sparks as she touched it. * 

* Ragna cries in pain. *

" Please stop it! "

" Please stop! " Ragna cries as he mourns for the death of his loved ones at the time.

" Please stop, goddess Indura! "

( Back to the present. )

[Hunter Association Hospital, Medic Room]

" It's the 'thing' that she gave me. "

"( A 'Curse' Gift, one meant to torture me for whatever that goddess had to do with Hahaue... )" Ragna remembers while grunting due to the pain sparked by the thunder emitting within him.

"( The curse's purpose is to disable me from getting any Gifts from other gods whilst also corrupting the very functions of my body, slowly disabling it before killing me in the end... )"

"( I don't know why the goddess would prefer to go that route, but it seems she's not the type to enjoy a quick death..., just like what she did to Hahaue after dealing with Vater... )" Ragna slowly remember the moment again, he grunts as tears begin to appear from his eyes.

"( Back then, Uncle and I thought we could reverse its effects with some Divine Items, particularly turning the Curse into a Gift for a while. )" 

"( Hell, being a S-Rank Hunter, he is, the gods offered some Divine Items that would let me reverse the effect for a while, even though... )"

"( Most of 'em are not good enough, in the end, I'm the one who had to make a deal with it with a 'Binding Contract'* and make sure to use it's curse against my enemies for it's pleasure. )"

"( Even I had to gamble my own life with death as I used it against a powerful foe back then, using to attain my current B-Rank status, making sure to unleash all of it's cursed entity in order to empty it from my body... )"

"( But why it returned!? Is it because... )" Ragna remembers the moment he stabbed his body with the sword, wondering if the power it gave him also triggered the curse to return, or perhaps the curse was still dormant somewhere within his body and the System re-awakened it.

" Twelve! " Ragna calls Twelve as the jolt of the spark begins to hurt him even more.

( Meanwhile, within Ragna's body. )

" You treacherous curse, to think your goddess will put you within Ragna's body! " Ragna Twelve says to the curse as the curse spirit sees him.

" Mmm, another spirit... "

" But, you smelled different, as if- "

" There's no need to know who I am, but sadly, I know well what you are! "

" You're a Thunderous Sentient Curse that happens to be one of the ingredients for the 'Heavenly Killer Poison'*..., the one that tortures my granddaughter in the Previous Timelines. "

" Ain't that right, [Vixen Curse Spirit: Yakan Heavenly Curse Torturer], the 'Yakan Curse'! " Ragna Twelve mentions the spirit name, confirming as he then releases one of his skills.

[ Water Gate ]

Ragna Twelve casts two Water Gates, one in front of the Curse and one in front of him, making him punch the one near him, which comes out as a big gigantic fist that punches the very curse out of the Yakan Curse.

* With Twelve's help, the System slowly perfected its installment within Ragna's body.
