Kurai puts on a full leg brace and sleeve for his left leg. 

“hmm, can't believe this school has a gym dedicated to just volleyball…” The Gym was massive. 4 volleyball courts spread out across the floor with a massive screen on the walls. Angled glass windows behind the T.V. A connected room leads to a Locker room and Weight Room. The whole room with a modern aesthetic. Kurai walks over and grabs a volleyball. 

“Where is everyone at?” He sighs as he spins the ball in his hands and tosses it up hitting an overhand serve.

“surprised you got here so early, you must be Kaneko” Kurai turns to the man who has a decent build but is at least a foot shorter than him. 

“No, that's my twin brother. I’m Kurai, the setter. You are…?”

“Oh, i'm the coach for the boys volleyball team here, coach Ross, nice to meet you Kurai…” Kurai takes a deep breath.

“Sure…” he grabs another volleyball and tosses it up and overhand serves it.

“For a tall setter, you have a pretty average serve…” Kurai turns to the Coach.

“Because I'm warming up, that's an issue?” Russ chuckles.

“what? No, just wondering…” Suddenly a flood of students rush in, Kaneko at the lead.

“Oh hey, everyone’s here now.” Everyone stands in a group as Kurai grabs another ball.

“Okay y'all, i'm Coach Ross, nice to meet you. For reference, no one in this room won't make the team, you're all a part of the team now. To start off, before we get to the fun part, introduce yourselves to everyone else, Kurai?” Kurai tosses the ball up and runs forward jumping up and missing the ball as he lands.

“Huh, what? Oh, I’m Kurai Vlast’, a freshman and a setter…” Kurai then grabs another ball.

“Guess I'm next, I'm Kaneko Vlast’, Kurai is my twin brother. I’m a wing spiker” A 6 foot 5 man with long brown hair parted to the left steps forward. His hazel eyes seemingly shining.

“Ok, I'm Ajax Adams, a Libero…” Another shorter boy steps forward. He had short white hair, pale skin, and light gray eyes seeming emotionless.

“I’m Dougal Wilson, I'm a middle blocker…” Coach Russ looked over at a student standing by himself.

“Now we have our singular sophomore…” Russ trying not to snicker.

“Hi, I'm Nete Xarajico, a wing spiker and blocker!” Kurai looks over at him with a blank stare.

“Why are you here?” Nate shouts slightly.

“I play volleyball!” Kurai looks at Russ who continues.

“Continuation is our Juniors…” A tall man, but still shorter than Dougal, steps up. His average length brown hair parted to the left paired with his tan skin.

“Hi, im Jools Harris, blocker and spiker” Another one with unkempt curly hair and black eyes stepped forward.

“I'm Marvelous Stevens. You can call me Marv I'm a blocker” Another one with black combed back hair and seemingly gray eyes steps forward.

“Oakleigh Robinson, Middle blocker…” The last one steps forward. His long blonde hair pinned back in a ponytail.

“Oswin Lewis, wing spiker.” Coach Russ smiles and nods.

“Okay, it is true we are a small team doesn't mean we're short in height. For our first practice today, we will be preparing for a team vs team match next wednesday. And for reference, the seniors aren't here today because they are dealing with council meetings and senior year stuff, they will be here by next week though.”
