{in the volleyball gym}

Kurai puts on his leg brace then the sleeve. 

“there, done…” Kaneko helps Kurai back up to a standing position.

“I just hope your leg won't give up on ya’ today…” Kurai stretches his arms a bit.

“It won’t, I'm sure of it. I've been training my endurance for a while now…” Kurai walks over to the court and stands there taking a deep breath.

“Still, if you feel like they’re about to give out, don't be afraid to call for a timeout, okay?” Kurai sighs.

“Sure, okay…” the door to the gym slowly opens as two familiar faces appear behind it.

“Hey, there's no need to hide behind the door, show your faces…” Kaneko snickers.

“We don't bite.” Kurai glances at Kaneko.

“I mean Kaneko might if you rile him up enough…” Kaneko jumps at Kurai a bit.

“HEY!” he comes out from behind the door.

“Oh, it's only Dougal…” Kaneko slightly rubs his chin.

“I thought I saw two faces though…” Dougal responds quietly.

“…bathroom…” Kurai sighs as he looks around.

“Oh, so he’s also got the nerves today. Come here Dougal, you stand at least 6-ish feet from Kaneko…” Dougal nods and walks over to roughly that spot.

“What are we doing, Kurai?” Kurai tosses the ball up really high.

“keep the ball in the air…” Kaneko stumbles a bit.

“GAH! Uh, uh what- uh…” Kaneko barely receives the ball, sending it far away. Dougal watches as the ball flies over his head. ‘I need to keep the ball in the air…’ He turns his head to face the ball as it starts falling. ‘rely on your instincts Dougal!’ 

“Dougal! It's yours!” the ball almost hits the ground. Dougal appears under the ball, pancaking it, sending it high into the air. Kurai was slightly surprised.

“Nice to receive” Kurai then sets the ball really high. Kaneko ran to receive it. Ajax watches the ball from behind the door.

“Kaneko, back to Kurai, then to Dougal once again, they’re doing better than I ever could…” Thinking to himself. ‘Wish I could be out there with them… but their aura scares me…’ Someone stands behind Ajax.

“What are you so scared about?” Ajax jumps and turns to see the man. “Uh…” He was   shorter than him by a few inches with blue eyes and parted blonde hair. as ominous of an aura as Kurai, Kaneko, and Dougal. 

“Let me guess, are you too scared to stand side by side with those new guys because they look intimidating?” behind him stands a few other people.

“h-how did you know?” The man slightly laughs.

“Don't worry, I used to be just like you. My name is Lucas Baker, the current team captain” Lucas smiles calmly.

“Yup, I'm Richmond Walker, and I'm jersey number 6 and acting Ace.” This guy was just taller than Lucas with hair combed straight back and seemingly green eyes.

“Sorry about these guys, they make everything super dramatic. I’m Xavier Ford, acting jersey number 5” This one was the shortest with combed back, yet dyed blue hair. From its original blonde shade still visible in some parts. Noticeable as a hand-done job.

“O-of the actual Ford family??” Xavier laughs nervously.

“Sadly not, that's a common misconception though…” Ajax quickly apologizes.

“You're good and this is Nathan Hood…” Xavier points at the only one in similar height to him.

“Hey! I wanted to introduce myself!...” Xavier cackles.

“You're just a bit too late…” Nathan growls before sighing.

“I’m the current acting Libero…” Ajax looks down at Nathan with a smile.

“R-really…? You can teach me some stuff then!” Nathan raises an eyebrow.

“What do you mean?” Ajax points at himself.

“My role is also a Libero…” Nathan smirks.

“Ah, uh, well shall we get this thing starte-'' Erik runs in from the outside door apologizing.

“SORRY GUYS! Sorry I'm late! I got busy at a meeting. Coach Russ or Isabella won't be able to make it so i'm going to proctor the match…”

“Okay, now that introductions are out of the way… please report to your group meetings and decide positions and obtain jersey’s please”
