Ajax, Dougal, Kurai, and Kaneko all walk over to the bench. Kaneko jumped first.

“I think I should be the team captain…” Ajax looks at him funny.

“really? I think Kurai should be the team captain…” Dougal nods in agreement. Kaneko complained.

“Okay guys, come on! at least let me be the Ace…” Kurai waves his hand reluctantly.

“Okay, you're the ace, but that doesn’t mean I'm sending every single toss to you. Dougal, you're also a spiker so be ready to attack and defend…” Dougal nods in agreement. Kurai turned to Ajax.

“Ajax, you just focus on keeping the ball up, got it?” Ajax nods slowly.

“I- I can deal with that…” Kurai turns to the court where the seniors wait for them.

“And of course i'll be the setter, let's do this team…” Everyone agreed and the team hugged before walking onto the court and getting in position. Kurai walks up, stopping in front of Lucas and Erik. Erik taking a deep breath.

“We will decide who goes first based on coin toss… Lucas?” Lucas smirks confidently.

“Tails never fails” Kurai takes a deep breath.

“heads always wins” Erik tosses the coin up as Kurai looks down at the captain both physically & metaphorically. Lucas grins as he looks up at Kurai. 'He's so Flipping tall!’

“And…” Erik catches the coin revealing it. “Tails” Lucas gives Kurai a glare of ‘I always win’ Kurai smiling back at him. Then walking back to the court as Lucas grabs a ball and exhales.

“good game!” Lucas thinks for a moment. ‘I'm winning this game!’ He tosses this ball really high and overhand serves it. Ajax processing the serve. ‘That's a really good serve to the right with insane spin!’ Ajax leans to his right as the ball spirals towards him. ‘Here it comes.’ The ball then curves to the left and bouncing off the floor. 

“what the-...” Kaneko was shocked.

“Hey, hey, hey, now wait a minute. WHAT WAS THAT!?” Kurai turns to Ajax with a blank stare.

“What just happened there, Ajax?” Ajax looks at his hands.

“I- don't know, the ball looked like it would curve to the right but it actually had a curve to the left, that's some insane spin…” Kaneko in disbelief said that was even possible.

“Incredible trajectory, with an overhand too…” Kurai smirks confidently.

“imagine the possibilities of that combined into a spike serve…” Lucas tosses the ball up and overhand serves it. ‘Right where I want it, perfect!’ Ajax watched the ball intensely. ‘I will receive this!’ he glances around him and notices something. ‘right there!’ Ajax leans to his right and sends the ball up. Lucas with a shocked face. ‘He actually got that up! That Idiot managed to raise that ball!’ Kurai steps forward. Looking up as the ball floats in front of the lights.

“Nice save!” Kurai jumping into the air preparing to set the ball. Kaneko also stepped forward and then took another step while glaring at Kurai. ‘give. Me. the. Ball. Kurai’ Kurai smirking. ‘oh, so that's how you want to play, eh Kaneko?’ 

“Then come here and get it…” Kurai sets the ball really high. Xavier was confused. ‘An open set? What is he planning? Does he think we can't stop his brother?’ Kaneko plants his penultimate then his block step and swings his arms down flying into the sky. Richmond in disbelief.

“so he can fly too, eh?” Xavier prepares to block Richmond.

“Three, two, NOW!” They both jump up to block. Kaneko pulls his arm back and swings it into the ball. Sending it through the block. Knocking them out of the way and bouncing off of the floor behind them. Richmond turns around as he lands. ‘Insane Power!’

“What!?” Xavier is in disbelief as he lands on his back looking up at Kaneko.

“No way…” Kaneko has a smug look on his face. Lucas smiling.

“Now things are getting interesting…”
