Presidential Door [GL]

Chapter 7

Chapter 7

Apr 04, 2025

Walking out of the bathroom, Tess stopped in her tracks, her eyes landing on the bed where a stunning magenta dress lay draped elegantly. She approached it, fingers grazing the silky fabric. It was exquisite, the kind of dress that hugged curves and flowed with every step. She didn’t need to try it on to know it would fit her perfectly.

Lost in admiration, she didn’t hear Adeline enter the room. The president stood behind her, a warm smile on her face as she watched Tess. Waking up beside her that morning had felt like a dream—a dream she desperately wished to make a permanent reality.

Adeline moved closer, her presence as commanding as ever, but her voice was soft, almost vulnerable. “I’m going to touch you now.”

Before Tess could respond, she felt Adeline’s arms wrap around her, pulling her into a tight embrace. Tess’s breath hitched as Adeline’s warmth enveloped her. She felt Adeline’s nose press against her neck, inhaling deeply as if trying to memorise her scent.

A soft, contented sigh escaped Adeline’s lips. “You’re so beautiful... I don’t want to leave without you.”

Tess’s heart skipped a beat, her hands instinctively reaching up to rest on Adeline’s arms. The dress fell from her fingers, forgotten, as she leaned back, surrendering to the embrace.

Tess chuckles, leaning into Adeline’s embrace as she turns her head slightly. Their foreheads touch, and she teases, “Is that so?”

Adeline’s smile softened as she leaned in, her lips brushing against Tess’s before deepening the kiss. The passion between them ignites, and the towel around Tess loosened, slipping slightly. Adeline’s arms tighten around her, pulling her closer as she whispered against her lips, “Come with me to the presidential estate.”

Tess groaned into the pillow, her entire face burning with embarrassment as Martin rolled the breakfast tray into the room. She risked a peek and immediately regretted it—Martin’s unimpressed yet slightly amused gaze met hers, and she quickly buried her face again.

Adeline, on the other hand, was completely unbothered, lounging against the pillows with her hair tousled from their morning together. She stretched lazily, the sheets barely covering her, as she smirked at him.

Martin, ever the professional, only sighed as he stopped at the foot of the bed, looking at the two women with a mix of irritation and resignation. “Your breakfast is here, and please, Madam President, we cannot delay any further. We need to stick to schedule.”

Without missing a beat, she casually pointed at Tess. “It’s her fault.”

Tess gasped, shooting her a look while Martin—despite his best efforts—broke into a knowing smile. Shaking his head, he turned to leave, but not before adding over his shoulder, “The same goes for you too, Miss Wells.”

Tess groaned again, flopping back onto the bed, while Adeline chuckled, completely at ease.

She sat up in frustration, her body fully exposed as she grabbed the nearest pillow and smacked Adeline with it. The moment the pillow landed, they both froze, staring at each other in stunned silence.

Tess’s eyes widened as the realisation sank in. “Oh my soul,” she scrambled onto her knees, reaching for Adeline in panic. “Are you okay? I didn’t mean to hit you—”

But Adeline wasn’t even listening. Her gaze had dropped, lingering on Tess’s bare breasts, which were now inches from her face. Memories of their heated moments from just twenty minutes ago came rushing back, and warmth coiled in her stomach. She swallowed hard, her voice turning husky as she looked up to meet Tess’s worried eyes.

“I wonder if it’s a good thing I met you,” she mused, tilting her head slightly. “My thoughts keep changing… especially now, after being with you.”

Tess smirked, her panic fading as she held Adeline’s gaze. “I guess you’ve met your match, Madam President.”

Adeline hummed in amusement before leaning back against the pillows. “Let’s eat before Martin comes back to kick us out.”

Tess chuckled, reaching for the tray, but she had a feeling breakfast wasn’t going to be the only thing on the menu this morning.
