Experiments, tests, and executions. What can one do with these? A lot.
Way too much.
Such was the mind of Blue, completely allowing himself to become absorbed by the work in front of him. A floating dark orb, staring deeply into his soul. Blue would touch it gently, and feel shivers travelling down his spine, along with a small amount of fear seeping through his skin.
This was enough. Tomorrow is a brand new day, and there's still much more to do.
...
Tomorrow arrives.
That orb... nowhere to be seen.
This was expected, there was no way that orb didn't have its own thoughts or actions. Blue throws the furniture around his room from corner to corner, desperately seeking that dark orb.
Veronica barges into the room, worried about the loud noises of furniture being scattered around. She questions Blue, but he doesn't answer.
He couldn't answer.
He didn't want to.
He didn't want to admit to Veronica that he'd begun tinkering around with that plan.
He didn't want to be a disappointment.
Not to Veronica. He wouldn't be able to bear it.
Instead, Blue takes hold of Veronica's shoulders and looks her in the eyes with an unsettling smile.
"We need new furniture!" he says. It didn't make sense at all, nor was it very convincing in terms of lying. Veronica only looks at him with a worried expression, humming in thought for a moment before walking out of the room.
To make something so out of this world, is it possible? Would you be able to produce something that impacted not only the world you live in, but the space that surrounds it? To come up with an idea so extreme, to even think about an idea so extreme, to try and execute and idea so extreme...
