Don't waste time in shower - 01

Apr 05, 2025

Then I heard a loud screeching sound of tires. I looked on my right and saw a bright light, it was so bright that it blinded me. Slowly the light was getting bigger. My hands and legs won’t move.... I could no longer hear anything. I was just standing there waiting for the light to pull me out of the darkness.

It didn’t last long; those dark creatures got a hold of me. I couldn’t see the light properly anymore. It was getting darker and darker, my chest felt heavy. I couldn't breathe properly, it felt like someone was sitting on my chest.

Soon, I could no longer see the light. All I could see was nothing but pitch-black darkness......

“I’m so tired......and sleepy......If I could......maybe just one more --

Death

Isn't the end I suppose.

Whenever I think about my life, I just remember all the bad choices I made. Things I should have done better, things I shouldn’t have done.

I messed up real bad. I die as a broke person, with no loved ones beside me.

No point in waiting for a miracle, it won’t appear, surely, no way.

How good it would have been if it was just a dream. If I could wake up somehow from this misery, then all will be good

A soft whisper carried my name across the stillness—so gentle, so haunting.
"BUYAN..."

 "WAKE UP BUYAN..."

I turned.

There she was—a faint, glowing figure of a woman standing on the silver-glass surface of water that stretched endlessly beneath our feet. The air was thick with silence, the kind that presses against your chest.

Drip... drip...
Somewhere in the distance, water echoed—slow, rhythmic, unnerving.

I could barely see her, but I felt her presence pulling me in like a lullaby soaked in sorrow. I walked slowly, each step making a soft ripple beneath me, though there was no sound of footsteps—only an eerie stillness that hummed in my ears.

"BUYAN..."

I moved closer.

Her face—still blurred—seemed to shimmer, unreal and shifting. I squinted, trying to make sense of her features.

“W-who are you?” I asked, my voice barely a whisper.

For a moment, nothing. Then—

She smiled.

But it wasn't warmth. It was wrong.

Crack!

The sound of bone snapping echoed as her mouth stretched too wide—revealing rows of sharp, gleaming teeth.
Her glow dimmed into a sickly green hue.

Shhhhhk!
Her fingernails suddenly extended with a hideous sound—long, curved, and claw-like.

A guttural, distorted growl erupted from her throat.

She lunged at me.

SLASH!
Her claws tore through the air—an inch from my chest.

“AHHH—!” I screamed—
GASP!

I jolted upright. I woke up from the dream, drenched in sweat, lungs burning as I gasped for air.
The sky was pitch-black. My heart pounded like war drums inside my chest.

Thump-thump. Thump-thump.

I thought I was dead.
No—worse.
I thought I was in hell.

But slowly, the shadows faded, and the sensation of falling disappeared. The air no longer pressed on my chest like a curse. I could breathe.

I blinked.

Crackle… hisssss…

The scent of something cooking reached my nose—oil, onions maybe? The sharp aroma pulled me back into reality. I realized I wasn’t burning in eternal fire.

I was... sitting.

My fingers clutched the arms of a cheap plastic chair, its legs uneven, wobbling slightly beneath me.

A man stood in front of a stove—his back turned, the fire beneath the pan dancing violently. Crack! Fsshhhhh! The oil popped, sharp and sudden. It startled me more than it should have.

I blinked again. My vision was hazy, like trying to see through a thick pane of glass smeared with fog.

Everything felt off.

Muted.

Too quiet.

Thud…
A soft footstep.

I turned.

A figure was approaching—slow, deliberate. The sound of their shoes tapping the dusty ground felt louder than the crackling fire.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

I froze. My lips parted, but no sound came out. My body remained still, locked somewhere between the nightmare and now. I was not fully here... not fully gone either.

I wanted to ask, “Where am I?”
But even my thoughts felt slow.

The figure got closer. Closer.
He stopped just a few feet away.

And then—
He spoke my name.
Soft. Familiar. Unsettling.

"BUYAN...You are awake, I'm glad you are not dead"
