The sun was barely rising, casting orange streaks across the tall buildings of the upper district. Jace walked with a hood over his head and his hands deep in his jacket pockets. The city had never felt so... loud.
Since the awakening, his senses had gone into overdrive.
He could feel every vibration in the ground. Every flicker of emotion from nearby people. It was overwhelming—but thrilling.
“Need to get this under control,” he muttered, his breath fogging in the morning chill.

A woman stood at the far end of the walkway, wearing a dark crimson trench coat. Long silver hair swayed with the breeze. Her presence… was like staring at the eye of a hurricane.
It follows a story of young youth who had nothing to his name but his only family ,his sister and a house left to him by their grandma.
