Authors’ Note
Hello, readers:
We are TempestAudrina, and we welcome you to our new project: In the Ruins of Eridanus.
For those who are new to our work, we previously had the opportunity to publish a romantic novel set in the 1990s, Silences and Memories, which you can find through the link in the description or on our profile.
Our series was born inspired by a short story we shared some time ago, titled The Last Breath, which served as the foundation for developing this work.
On this occasion, it was I, Audrina, who wrote the story, while Tempest took on the arduous task of hand-illustrating and digitally coloring each image that accompanies this narrative, in addition to handling its editing. I am deeply grateful to my dear friend and creative partner for bringing our characters to life and for all her incredible effort.
We know that many people look for stories with happy endings, and so do we; however, we want to offer a sincere warning about In the Ruins of Eridanus. It is a tragic novel that explores loss, memory, and the close bonds that endure over the years. This is not a story with an easy plot, nor does it intend to be, and we completely understand if this isn’t the kind of read you’re looking for.
Originally, it was going to be presented as a comic; however, due to time constraints for both of us, we decided to reformat it into a novel, similar in style to Silences and Memories.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us once again, and also to those who are reading our work for the first time. We deeply value your support and hope you enjoy it.
With love,
Tempest & Audrina
