"Miss. Spencer. I divorced my husband when he choosed his mistress over me." The woman sips her coffee lightly "and no, I didn't got you wrong. I know who you are and exactly what you are trying to do." 

Ben feels a headache kicking in. "If that's the case, then I see no point of talking with you. I shall leave." 

"Don't you dare. I am here to warn you , also to give you an offer." The woman replies casually "It may sound melodramatic but you can name your price to leave my son. I promise, I am not frugal." 

"Mrs. ... " Ben clenches his fist "Miss. Spencer, I told you already that I have nothing to do with your son. And your son cleared all the misunderstandings himself this morning. So, you are just wasting your time." 

"You are also wasting your time by pretending to be pure and good. I already know how you are desperately trying to be close with Ethan. You want to seduce my Alan through Ethan. You think I can't see through you ? I have dealt with your kind before." 

"My kind ?" 

"The good for nothing mistress that men choose over the capable and qualified wife." 

Ben chuckles this time "I am really sorry if that's what you think of me but don't you think if your son is the one choosing then you should blame your son ?" 

"You ..." 

Ben stands up from his seat "I don't owe you any explanation Ms. Spencer yet I gave you my time because you are my boss's mother but that doesn't give you any right to insult me." 

"Two hundred million." Elena Spencer also stands up with her checkbook "I will give you two hundred million to leave this show and leave Zoom entertainment. I will also give you a contract in Starshine entertainment. Isn't it enough to start your so called idol life ?" 

Ben smiles "I guess, you have only seen Fred living his so called idol life. So your perspective is on Fred's level. I don't blame you. Had you offered him this, he would've accepted it. 

"What do you mean?" Elena almost shouts. 

"I simply meant , you got me wrong." 

"Three hundred million." Elena asks again. 

"Didn't you hear, what he said ? He has nothing to do with your son."  

Ben looks at his side hearing a familiar voice "Luke ?" 

Luke stands beside Ben with a frustrated expression "Ben is my boyfriend and this situation was created by mistake. I can assure you my boyfriend has no interest in your son." 

Elena looks at the young man up and down. "Weren't you the one who...." 

"It was a misunderstanding. Ben may have been close with your grandson but he is close with every kid he knows. He loves kid. It was my fault to doubt him." 

Elena chuckles "oh really ? How sure are you ?" 

"Very much. Now, if you don't want another video damaging your son's reputation, then you must leave." 

Ben stayed silent while Luke went back and forth with Miss Elena. He doesn't know what Luke is doing here? He is just trying to stay out of the drama as much as possible. 

After five more minutes of Argument Miss Elena finally leaves the cafeteria. Ben sighs in his mind before turning towards Luke with a questioning gaze. 

Luke looks back at Ben "we need to talk."

Alan never rushed out of his office this fast before but he can't help this time. "What do you mean by mom went to meet Ben ? What does she has to do with him ?" 

"Can't you guess ? She went there being Fred's advocate. I just hope she doesn't say anything bad to Ben. That kid already has so many things in his plate." Alina's voice came through the speaker. 

Alan punches the steering wheel in frustration when he sees the long traffic ahead. "Why didn't you stop her ?" 

"I just got the news from my receptionist. How would I know ?" 

Alan rubs his face in headache. He is having a bad time since morning. First, his issued statement didn't do the damage control he hoped for. 

Then that statement worked against Ben.

 Then, his board members didn't agree to issue another statement regarding Ben's situation. They wants the gossip to continue and now... 

His mom went to meet Ben ? He kicks on accelerator again.

"I am sorry." 

"We broke up Luke. I don't need ..." 

"No Ben, please. We have been together for so long. We have seen so much together. And this little misunderstanding can't break up apart." 

"It's not misunderstanding..." 

"It is. I am sorry. We were having arguments. We weren't in talking terms and then I suddenly I saw you being close with someone else. I overreacted out of jealousy. But trust me, I had no idea the situation would escalate like this." 

Ben chuckles in rising anger "Then why didn't you contact me in last two days , Like ? Why are you here only after Mr. Scott denied the rumours ?" 

Luke lowers his head "I am really sorry , Ben. Trust me, I was lost. I wasn't thinking straight. I was angry at you. I thought you replaced me." 

Ben scoffs "Didn't you replace me first ?" 

Luke looks at Ben hurriedly "Ben, it's all a misunderstanding. I only love you. I have nothing to do with Fred. I was just ..... 

Ben, I used to think the life of an actor is so gorgeous and beautiful before. So when I met Fred , I asked him to help you , I know you were struggling. And then I got to see Fred's life. No privacy, no independence, no personal space. He was miserable. 

I didn't want that life for you. So I wanted you to give up. I belittled your acting , your career and your passion. I compared you with Fred. Trust me, Ben,I just wanted you to live a happy life with me. 

And whenever you saw me with Fred, I was just helping Fred to come out of his depression."

Ben stays silent. "Fred has a boyfriend of his own." 

"Does his boyfriend care for him ?" Luke argues "you have seen their real face now. Didn't you ?" 

Luke points at the empty seat where Miss Elena sat "didn't you see how she treated you ? These rich people, they don't care about us, Ben. They treat us like dogs. 

When they are bored, they will play with us and make us feel the most important and then the next day, they will throw us away like trash." 

Ben's eyes burn. "I know. I don't expect anything more from them. I am professional." 

Luke cups Ben's face with a soft smile "you don't know. You aren't cruel like them. You have a heart and I love that heart of yours. I am sorry Baby, Please give me another chance ?"

Alan stands at the entrance of the cafeteria with a stern face.

Alina who was standing beside Alan, clears her throat "well, should we stop that man from harrassing our artist ?" 

Alan stays silent.  

"It doesn't look like harrasment." Alina chimes again. 

"You called me all the way here for this ? Where is mom ?" Alan asks Alina this time. 

"The receptionist said that mom just left." 

"Then should've informed me that, I am not free to watch live dramas." Alan turns around to leave.

Then He stops after taking two steps. he looks back at Alina "Remind Mr. Ben Arnold, he can play as many games as he wants with his boyfriend but he shouldn't expect company to clear his mess every time." 

Alina smiles "ok, I will remind him but looks like they are together again. There wouldn't be any mess in future." 

Alan scoffs before leaving the cafeteria. Some people doesn't learn from their mistakes and of course Ben is one of them. He was stupid to help Ben with his game. If Ben wants to be miserable with his cheating boyfriend when why should he care ! 

Someone stupid like Ben deserves to be played on.
