Groggily I awoke to the sound of soft banging and shuffling in the other room. Sitting up I spot that weird collar thing from before laid on the ground of the bedroom floor a light blue glow coming from the center of it as I get up staggering a bit as I walked out the door and into the open living room where Oliver stands in the kitchen putting what looked to be groceries in the cabinets. Leaning back on the balls of his feet before turning around only to jump his eyes wide as he rushes over to me.
'You shouldn't be up!'
"I'm fine Oli." I smile softly as his hand grasps my shoulder. "I don't feel as dizzy as I did earlier." I explain as he tries to push me towards my recliner.
'I just drank from you less than an hour ago! You are not fine Mister!'
I chuckle letting him push me into my recliner. "Oli I'm okay you ain't got to mother hen me." I sit down in the recliner with an audible groan.
Oliver shakes his head checking me over before a blush crosses his face and he runs into my room grabbing a blue shirt from the closet he throws it at me before going into the kitchen.
I can't help but chuckle as I pull the shirt on over my head. "Feeling okay there?" I ask voice dripping with sarcasm a sly smirk on my face as I get back up and walk towards the open kitchenette just in time to have a fresh hand towel wack me in the face. "What I say?" I laugh.
Oliver hit me a few more times with the hand towel like it was supposed to do something before turning his back to me his arms crossed and a pout on his lips.
"Awww, come on now Oli no need for the pout." I smirk. "Come on, lets head downstairs as grab an old fashioned before we figure out what the hell they had stuck to me, and how did you get it off."
Oliver nods a slight pout still on his lips as I wrap my arms around his shoulders and lead him down the stairs.
'You’re such an ass.' He grumbles his fingers playing with thread of my sleeve against his neck.
"Yeah, yeah Oli." I smirk as we enter the bar the inside still a mess from the night of the Ghoul attack. "Shit... I forgot."
Oliver nods before snapping his fingers.
"What are you?" Blinking the bar suddenly looks brand new, no cracks, no scraps, nothing as though it was like the day I first bought it. "Holy shit..." I walk into the middle of the bar looking around. "Why?"
Oliver walked over the pout gone replaced with a soft smile. 'Because I wanted too.'
"You are one fucking cheesy Vamp."
Oliver shrugs smirking slightly his shoes clicking against the floor as he walks over to the bar and hops into his seat. I walk around the counter a soft smile on my face.
"Alright then darling we are looking at the usual today?" A blush smacks Olivers face as he nods. With that I make his drink and slide it over. He takes it sipping it and hiding his face. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna go grab the collar thing."
Oliver nods again as I round the counter and head back upstairs. Finding the collar where it was left in my room, I grab it and head back finding Oliver smiling and kicking his feet a soft shade of red on his cheeks as I finally enter the room. He stops looking over at me.
"You okay there?" I smirk dropping the collar on the counter and taking a seat beside him.
Oliver nods quickly sliding the drink away before grabbing the collar and looking it over.
"How did you even get this thing off my neck? And when?" I asked and if I didn't know any better Oliver looked more like a tomato than a person by the way he looks away. Holding out his hand I smirk and take it.
'When I was drinking from you, I somehow slipped it off your neck I'm surprised you didn't feel it come off.'
"Well honey I was a little more preoccupied." I laugh as he hits my arm.
'It's not funny I could have drained you!' His voice comes out in an almost pathetic whine as he hits my arm again.
"But you didn't." I retort "I'm okay, was a little ditzy there but I was okay." I explain, "And you did a real good job patching me up but next time don't just lunge at me." I continued my hand going to his back. "We'll figure something out later, maybe after all this is over okay."
'Wait you’re okay with me doing that again?!"
The shock is loud and boisterous against the base of my skull and for a second I sit there blinking. Oliver seems to realize it before covering his face.
'I can not believe you...'
I chuckle a soft smile on my face as I shrug. "What can I say, my intuition hasn't lied about you yet."
Oliver shakes his head as he grabs the collar and continues to look it over before looking at me.
'I know someone who may be able to read these.' Oliver gestures to the strange markings inside the collar. 'I can send them a call, but it will be a few days till I get a call back.'
"So, until then we keep guards up and make sure no one we know gets taken." I lean back as Oliver nods only to stop and look at me with this look like something had just dawned on him. "What?"
'Your brother I believe came by before I went to go find you. Newton if I remember correctly. Something about your mother.'
I freeze up for a second before running upstairs scrounging around for my phone like a mad man before running back downstairs and out the door. Oliver's footsteps are close behind as I run through the woods the loud snapping of bones hitting the air and before I could even think about warning him, I had shifted emotions running high as I barrel on all fours through the woods and out back of the house finding Lil standing outside on her phone. She barely shares a glance as I trip none too gracefully into the house.
