Mori spoke while barely making sense as he was being crushed by this 'weight.'
After a moment of silence The Third spoke, "Hmm, I believe you."
The pressure which was supressing Mori seemingly ready to crush him if the answer wasn't satisfactory had finally subsided, he started gasping for air trying to compose himself.
cough! cough!
'Of course you do! You have a lie detecting artifact don't you and I why would I even dare to lie. If I somehow managed to lie and it was revealed then I would never be able to live anyways, after all you have the entire army under you. In hindsight I guess I am glad that I didn't say anything.'
"Look after the rest of the candidates."
Puzzled Mori asked, "What? Where are you going?!"
"Lord Third spoke before he began to walk out of the control room, You'll see."
'What a weird man.' Mori thought to himself.

[You will leave automatically the scenario simulation when the scenario is over for all candidates.]
Another Holographic message appeared in front of him.
'I'm glad. I'm really glad. I really would not like to go outside like that.'
sigh.
'I knew these tests were supposed to be hard but... this is absurd. How were they able to even extract a memory from my head? This doesn't make any sense. H-Hmm?'
Ryo's tired face took a turn, he was shocked. Maybe even slightly scared.
'M- Mom... I can't remember her face. What is- I- I can't her voice... what is going on?! Is this something related to the simulation device. Is this supposed to happen? Huh? What was I even thinking about?'
Ryo let out a pained sigh as he muttered to himself in a low voice, "What the hell..."
Still processing his thoughts suddenly he heard a deep and commanding voice which made him freeze for a moment.
The voice spoke, "Do you have a squad you would like to go in?"
[Someone has entered your simulation!]
'What?! Someone entered the simulation? Who... Why?! What does that even mean?!'
Ryo instantly jerked his head around and saw an old man with a tall and bulked up build wearing a tight shirt which highlighted his muscles underneath a trench coat and a pair of formal pants.
As though he realized something he instantly got up in a stiff manner before speaking up in an awkward and low voice, "Hello, A- Army Commander."
"Before you answer the question make sure to clean your face it's quite the canvas." The Third spoke has he handed a handkerchief to Ryo so he could wipe off his face.
'The stories of him being rude and blunt seem to be true.' Ryo thought to himself as he took the handkerchief and wiped off and cleaned his face.
As he did so he came to notice that the Commander in front of him was staring at him with a look of disgust which also had a hint of sympathy.
'I-It must be a real mess if he's look at me like that.'
Pressing further Lord Third spoke, "So?"
"Yes, and uh I don't know, I mean, I think I- I want to join Squad 8."
After a moment of silence and awkward stares from Ryo, Lord Third spoke up once again, "I see."
'Squad 8, eh? I need to notify 'him' then.'
"Well anyways... I look forward to your performance in the next tests."
As he finished the sentence a hologram appeared in front of Ryo's eyes.
[No Outsiders Are In The Simulation]
Lifting his eyes Ryo noticed that he was once again alone in the room.
Ryo had now spent the remaining 40 minutes staring into the empty sky produced by the simulation, gathering all the memories which were opened up by the first test and locking them away, forgetting them.
[Scenario Finished!]
[1st Place: Ryo]
'Finally. Now for the next scenario test... if I recall the information for it was made public or rather has been public ever since Lord Third took over the army.'
As the first test had ended the ones who had either failed the test or barely passed it had taken on a grim look. However this did not matter to Ryo.
