The morning rays of light shine through the window and I stir awake, I slowly sit up. My body is stiff from sleep and my eyes are half open. I yawn and stretch, swinging my legs over the bed, as I look around my empty room. I get up and slowly make my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I dry off and change as I do my hair. 

My thoughts suddenly shift to the person I saw at the store. I haven't told anyone...I should but I don't want them to think I sound crazy. I sigh and look at myself in the mirror. My hair is still messy. I go grab my jacket and put it on but I stop in place as I glance at a photo. I pick it up and see all of us smiling happily. 

I remember this day, the day when we grew our first batch of veggies. I examine it and see the only one not smiling is Dove, looking as psychopathic as ever, but she never smiles unless it involves murder. Yes we know it's weird. 

“Sage, hurry up, we are all leaving,” Kali calls.

I quickly put the photo in my bag, grabbed my bow and arrow, and sling my bag on my shoulders.

“Coming!” I exclaim as I walk out.

I see the whole group waiting and as I walk in they all turn to me. 

“What?” I ask.

“Nothing, it's just that we've never seen you without your bandana, Sage,” Indigo says.

Shoot, I forgot to put on my bandana 

“Wait really? You have never seen me without my bandana?” I question.

Everyone nods.

Damm…

“Well, now you have,” I say

Everyone just looks at me. I sigh and grab some more supplies. They snap out of it and help me. I quickly grab a first aid kit as you can never be too safe.

“Now come on, we have a safe haven to find,” I say

We all walk outside into the dark night.

Nexus asks ”What do we do now?”

I smirk and look at him,

“We do what we do best, we survive.”
