The Everything: Integration

The Second Human-Extraterrestrial Dialogue Summit Pt.1

The Second Human-Extraterrestrial Dialogue Summit Pt.1

May 25, 2025

The next day, Talax said on twitter with the official UUM account "Only one or 2 news crews with our technology should attend the UN meeting, as we will select, and use your footage, and display it live on our website. We don't care what you do on your side besides that. Traditional news crews, or anything are fine. We will let you pick who records it, as we don't care. As long as it's recorded with our cameras. Our website, as you know, due to a quantum link we put in every device on the planet, can be seen without an internet connection. As for how advanced the recording equipment we provided is, compared to the rest of technology we use. Honestly, it's Civilian technology. Meaning it's not crazy advanced for us, just everyday technology." It was a pleasure now to learn this technology before August 18th. With this technology having been given on August 1st. A rush of preparation, experimentation, and training was going on.

The Second Human-Extraterrestrial Dialogue Summit was coming, as August 18th came closer, and closer. Until morning of August 18th, 2027, dawned over New York City with an uneasy calm. The United Nations Headquarters had never looked more tightly secured or more buzzing with energy. Police barricades lined First Avenue, and across the street, hundreds of onlookers gathered behind designated protest zones or media corrals. Some had arrived at dawn just to hold signs reading "Welcome, Admin!" or "UUM = Our Future," while others brandished messages of doubt and fear, calling for Earth to maintain sovereignty. Helicopters hovered above the East River, capturing aerial footage for global broadcast. On the sidewalks, cameras from the UUM's new recording orbs flitted about, capturing the swirl of human activity in crisp slow-motion, sending glimpses to news stations worldwide.

Inside the UN building, the General Assembly Hall was awash in a strangely electric silence, as though the oxygen itself vibrated with anticipation. Diplomats, heads of state, ambassadors, and their entourages filled the iconic rows of seating, each wearing expressions that ranged from rigid apprehension to cautious excitement. Everyone present understood the magnitude of this moment. The UUM's second official meeting at the UN—and the highly anticipated arrival of the mysterious Admin of Biology—had been the focus of global attention for months. After North Korea's failed nuke attack on the UUM space station, tensions had ratcheted up, but so had the sense that Earth was on the precipice of a grand unveiling. Observers nervously checked the time on their phones or glanced at wall clocks. People whispered to each other about wormhole signatures detected by LIGO, speculating that something big was happening on the UUM station. Everyone wanted to believe the Admin would appear precisely at noon, but the uncertainty was palpable.

Just off the main floor, in a private lounge reserved for heads of major nations, President Carter of the United States conferred in hushed tones with Secretary of State Linda Owens. Carter's normally confident posture seemed weighed down by the enormity of the day. She had been reading the latest intelligence brief about "significant gravitational disturbances" around the UUM space station. "They're preparing for something," she muttered, glancing up at Owens. "I don't want to be blindsided by some cosmic display of power right in the middle of the Assembly." Owens nodded gravely. "We can only hope they respect the format of the meeting. They've done nothing to suggest hostility, but after North Korea's fiasco, who knows?"

Nearby, China's President Liang Wen took a seat, flanked by security advisors, all wearing stoic expressions. Rumor had it that China had been privately messaging the UUM for clarifications. None had been forthcoming. The silence from the UUM on official state channels worried them. "I sense they're leaving us to sweat," one of Liang's advisors murmured. Liang nodded, recalling the conversation with Russian officials the night before, who had echoed similar concerns.

Evtalo's presence always commanded an air of quiet wonder, and awe, but the Admin was the real subject of speculation. People whispered wild rumors about his appearance: was he another winged being like Evtalo, or a luminous shape like the earlier glimpses of ender energy? A pair of journalists from a small Kenyan outlet, who had recently tested the new UUM orbs in their coverage, conversed excitedly about how they might capture every detail of the Admin's arrival.

A group of African diplomats stood together, reflecting on the quiet interventions the UUM had already provided to their countries. One official from Nigeria said softly, "If the Admin of Biology is coming, maybe he's bringing solutions for our struggling healthcare or biodiversity issues. This could be the moment we find real partnership." A counterpart from Ethiopia, equally hopeful, responded, "Or maybe it's bigger than that. Perhaps they'll address global pandemics or reveal how to fix agricultural crises. The documents say the Admin is known for forging alliances that protect entire ecosystems."

Up in the balcony designated for the media, reporters jostled for position, some with the new silver orbs zipping around them, capturing everything from vantage points that Earth's cameras could never manage. The orbs gave them the capacity to broadcast in 360 degrees and unbelievably high frame rates, and the responsibility was immense. A small Japanese station tested a slow-motion feed, showing the swirling crowd in mesmerizing detail. A CNN technical director, exhausted from days of practice, slumped in a seat, re-checking the orb's interface. "If the Admin bursts through a wormhole, we better be ready to broadcast it live," he said to his colleague. The colleague nodded and offered a quick pep talk: "Remember, we can't screw this up. The entire planet is going to be watching. The UUM is watching." That last line caused them both to pause, a flicker of anxiety in their eyes.

On the main floor, the hum of diplomatic chatter rose and fell in waves. North Korea had sent a representative—an underling who looked deeply uncomfortable even being present. This representative sat far in the corner, isolated, as no one dared approach them. On the other side of the hall, South Korea's delegation sat with their own tension. Rumors suggested they would again propose a South Korean-UUM task force for the region's stability. President Yoon Suk-yeol, fiddling with his tie, kept glancing at his phone for any new updates from staff. He couldn't forget the uneasy line in Talax's last tweet: "We can talk when intervention efforts begin." It wasn't exactly ominous, but it hinted at a future that might involve direct cosmic involvement on the peninsula.

At 11:59 AM, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Maria Esposito, rose to the central podium. Her face was composed, though the microphone picked up the slightest tremor in her breathing. The room fell into a hushed quiet as she cleared her throat. "Distinguished delegates, honored guests," she began, her voice calm but taut with emotion, "we gather here today for the second official meeting with the UUM. We anticipate the arrival of their Integration Team and the Admin of Biology. It is our hope that this meeting will pave the way for a deeper understanding and, ultimately, a peaceful integration between our world and theirs." She paused, scanning the room. "Let us remain open, respectful, and conscious of the magnitude of this moment. The entire planet is watching."

As the clock inched closer to noon, tension swelled to a near-palpable crescendo. Some delegates turned to their aides, whispering last-minute instructions. Others stared at the empty seats set aside for the UUM, eyes flicking toward the digital screens around the hall that displayed the feed from multiple orbs. The silver snitch-like devices hovered near the high ceilings, capturing every angle of the quiet, grand auditorium.

12:03. The room collectively let out a soft murmur of amusement and frustration. Delegates exchanged knowing glances, a mixture of impatience and expectation settling over the chamber. The realization that the UUM was, once again, late wasn't surprising to anyone, not after the spectacle of first contact and their peculiar, almost theatrical timing in the second meeting.

"They're consistent, I'll give them that," quipped the Canadian delegate, leaning back slightly in his chair. "Always keeping us on edge. Probably some kind of psychological tactic."

"Or maybe they just like making an entrance," replied the Kenyan representative, her lips curling into a faint smile. "You have to admit, they know how to command attention."

At the far end of the room, the Russian ambassador adjusted his tie and muttered something to his aide. "More theatrics. Aliens or not, this feels like something straight out of a bad movie."

Meanwhile, the South Korean delegate took the opportunity to glance at his phone, skimming through the live social media updates flooding in from outside. Twitter was already alive with speculation. Memes were circulating with captions like "The UUM is always late but worth the wait" and gifs of countdown clocks exploding into bursts of light. Some users joked about whether Talax would burst out of a UN delegate's phone this time, while others speculated wildly about the so-called "Admin of Biology" and whether his eccentricity would live up to the hype.

"They've practically made this into a cosmic soap opera," the Indian representative remarked, scanning through some of the memes himself. "It's almost... deliberate. Like they want the world to be talking even before they say a single word."

The General Assembly was abuzz with quiet conversations, filled with equal parts anticipation and unease. For all the lighthearted banter, the weight of the situation wasn't lost on anyone. Delegates whispered about North Korea's recent nuclear debacle and the cryptic UUM responses. Everyone wondered if today's meeting would bring answers, consequences, or yet another layer of complexity to humanity's relationship with the interstellar power.

Then... the screens at the front of the UN hall... glitched rapidly, and... turned black. People frowned... and then they all widened their eyes. A very familiar silver fox, animated like a Disney animation from their golden years, sits, looks around the room, and then says "Eh... always first to show up. Makes sen-" Then... the screen glitches the hell out, as a blue energy... plasma moves from the screen... floating in the air, yet no heat comes from it, as it lands at the ground, and begins forming... the fox into physical space. Slowly, but surely, as bones seem to materialize, and then fur... until it looks like a real animal. Except with oddly intelligent eyes, that have glowing blue pupils, as it looks around the room, and sits, tail swaying. "-ce considering i can travel thru networks. Anyway... give them a second, the admin has planned a nice entrance. Also... we may take control of our recording technology we let you borrow."

He sat casually in front of the entire board. As... at 12:05... the live footage from the UUM website, 'www.UUM.multi', where you could find the live feed in a tab called 'United Nations Meeting LIVE', displayed on a screen within the UN hall. The footage switched suddenly, to a view from above the UN meeting... from one of their high-speed long distance orbs, that measured 0.8m across. Thou no one saw the orb, as they watched from its perspective, as it flew high into the sky. While newscasters, talking in the feed lost access, as the technical teams saw messages on their computers saying "Your broadcast is being controlled by the UUM. Do not worry." while the editor, and controller for the UUM devices... they could see changing actively, and recognize itself. As if... someone was controlling it from beyond. As they could see the paths being programmed live for the recorders.

The orb rose, and rose, and then moved, as we flew towards the UUM space station... as we got a good shot of it. As a purple point of light flew out of it... Atanda Xtor. As he looked like that before, in a bubble of ender energy that glowed like a purple star, flying thru the sky. As the camera moved rapidly, and managed to catch up to the deer. Showing... as it trotted on a floor of purple, as flows of purple fog moved around it, dense, and bright. A ethereal god-like deer... running within waves of purple fog. Purple fog that they had been told so gracefully was ender energy, far earlying in there documents. Truly a energy able to manipulate all fundamental forces. As they saw the deer run thru space, with earth below its hooves. Cinematically. Like a movie. Was this... why Atanda Xtor... ran randomly, and playfully across the skies during first contact in 2026? The purple star that flew thru the sky? The purple star that defeated a galactic criminal who could crack moons with a cello solo? He looked... perfectly like a real deer, as all before had known. But the aura of purple around him... the bubble around him. It was... cosmic.

We zoom out, losing his figure in the purple star that moves thru earth's atmosphere, stopping above NYC... from above... as purple fog... covers the entire sky of NYC... causing the sun to turn purple... as a text forms in the sky... only readable from space, or the view of this advanced UUM camera. The UUM logo... as it floats into being... and then... it serves back into the purple star, as the star rises out of the atmosphere.

The camera followed the deer... as it entered the bubble of ender energy with the deer... and the silence of space suddenly was filled with air. As if inside the bubble... is air. The deer speaks through the device on its back. "The admin is on the moon. An Alcubierre bubble is necessary, or... something similar to it. Enjoy the view." As... gravity warps around the bubble of purple fog, the camera captures well... as they accelerate visibly away from earth... as colors shift. Blue shift, and red shift, on ether ends, and distortions in light, as in just seconds. They arrive at the moon.

The camera exits the bubble, and flys rapidly to the lunar pole. It floats slowly to the ground. As they see the deer land on the moon... with a thin bubble of fog around them, presumably allowing them to breathe. As they focus... and a wormhole forms in front of their antlers... as... we see. A small... a bird -like creature walks out of the wormhole. Walking onto the moon. The wormhole closes, as the camera focuses purely on the bird.

A story within The Everything canon, a foundation to it. This is a passion project, and I'm still developing my writing style, so feedback is welcome! If you create fan art, I'd be happy to include it (with credit). The current cover may replace if I get something better. I plan to release one chapter a day, until i catch up to my 109 page story google doc. Edit my chapters to make them better, and more. Refine it over time. Once i run out of backlog content, idk.
