South Korea however... Soon emitted publicly, they were in an email conversation with the UUM, and they even had an online chat with Talax. Though they said publicly "While our communication with the UUM... has begun, and been active. We are unwilling to tell what their plans are, due to their sensitive nature, and their personal wishes." Surprisingly no leaks occurred. Many speculated it was Talax's doing.

On August 24... the UUM announced they would broadcast live to the entire world the intervention. On twitter Talax said "Our first intervention is a model... for the most extreme form of intervention we are willing to do, for the most extreme misalignments. This is for your reference, and understanding. This... is what happens to evil in the UUM's care, and oversight. We will be livestreaming it yes... but it... somewhat brutal. Be warned. I do not recommend showing your children until older. This is not brutal due to our methods... but brutal... due to the methods you will see from this... filth. Too bad they don't have a good internet, otherwise I could hack them to destruction." The tone... was what got people off guard. Why... did it sound like a funeral precession. Why the warning?

8:00 PM KST, August 25, 2027... the broadcast started with a black screen, with Talax on it, in his digital animated self. He said "What you are about to see, is a UUM intervention with the goal of removing the mass scale suffering, and gathering the guilty within the country of North Korea. I will warn you... that this can be brutal, and the measures used here are seen as extreme, and temporary even by the UUM. They are not used at random... as with everything in the UUM. But regardless. Lets begin. We have deployed invisible drones all over north korea to allow you to see what is going on live. Please stop watching... if you don't think you can handle humanities own... gore, and filth." He pauses, and then says "Very well... let's together... watch this intervention unfold."

It switches to a view of grass. As a drone turns visible, and... Talax emerges from it. "Activate... the empathy protocall." The drone displays a hologram, as systems begin to turn online... and then... we zoom out, and pan... as we see... the grass begin to pulse with blue light. We zoom out more... and more... and more. The entire country... is pulsing with blue light. We fly in, to see... public panic... and then it stops. As everyone stops... and freezes in place. Talax speaks, while the footage plays. "First we deployed nanobots that would move, and enter every living being, and surface, programmed and linked to our quantum networks. These nanobots stopped perfectly at the edge of the country. Then... once activated. They put every human... into a sleep. While the nanobots locked their muscular system in place. They are fine... just asleep."

The camera eventually reaches a back alley, as they see... a soldier, and a mother holds her child. Both frozen... mid action. As the mother cries. "Then... we activate a system, where the nanobots monitor surface thoughts, and actions. If a person actively, and with malicious intent, harms another. No matter the scope, or method, and with intelligence. Once they do such... that memory, from the person they harm will be immediately given to them. For just a moment, their sense of sight, body, pain, everything, will be another's. The nanobots will also improve genetics, and other health factors. But not to an insane degree. They will just make it easier for a person to live. If they are near death... the nanobots will activate, and heal them. Preventing death. Even a gunshot to the brain will not kill them. Effectively... for a time. Every person in North Korea is physically incapable of dying.

Once we wake them all up. Everyone will be confused... but quickly learn the rules. Then... violence will stop. All responsible for this... horror, will be taken, and will be on the UUM's space station temporarily. Until the UUM's legal trial. Until then..." We move to a scene of the deer floating above a military facility. Destroying every gun inside with purple fog flowing into every doorway. While moving people around as they are frozen. "We are currently removing every single weapon in the country." We see a scene of the demilitarized zone, between South, and North Korea, and how... in an instant, purple fog covers it, and the entire structure loses all guns on both sides. He continues "In exactly 3 months... we will order the empathy protocol to destroy itself. Destroying every single nanobot, with no consequences to the population beyond... our rules deactivating. While... We also provide continued support for the 12 months. Now... its time to wake up." Everyone wakes up. We watch as a soldier beats a young child, but then... screams in pain, as he touches him... he is confused, as he kicks the kid, and screams once more. We see a military man wake up, and realize... every single gun, and bullet on them is gone. We see an image of... a beaten to death man... laying on the ground about to die... as his body suddenly glows blue, and he is brought back to life. Talax then says "However... this does not show you the horrors. I will now replay the most horrifying memories, and experiences of the public of North Korea. But... I will clarify one thing. Even the UUM... The Team, all of us don't like doing things like this. It's just the most practical and moral method. We are too powerful... too need to kill. We are so powerful, that the most effective solution we can achive, is one you have only seen as a hopeless ideal to reach." As... for the next 2 hours. Memories of horrors play.

The first memory shown was relatively mild compared to what would follow—a young girl, no older than ten, sitting in a cold, dark room, her ribs visible through her tattered dress as she ate handfuls of rice scraped from the floor. The camera lingered, forcing the audience to see her trembling hands and tear-streaked face. It was a slow, agonizing introduction, and it set the tone for what came next. The broadcast became a relentless onslaught: scenes of public executions, of children being beaten for minor infractions, of families watching helplessly as their homes were destroyed. Every few moments, the screen would cut to another memory, another act of unspeakable cruelty, each one worse than the last.

It was the two-hour replay of the population's worst memories that truly broke people. As scenes of torture, starvation, abuse, and systemic cruelty played on screens across the globe, many viewers found themselves unable to continue. Social media became a torrent of raw emotion.

Mental health professionals and advocacy groups quickly began issuing statements, urging people to take breaks from the broadcast and seek support if they felt overwhelmed. Helplines in multiple countries reported a surge in calls, with many people struggling to process the horrors they had just witnessed. In one widely shared post, a therapist tweeted: "It's okay to step away from the broadcast. What you're seeing is traumatic, and you're not weak for needing a moment to process."

Reports came in... footage of South Korea, and soldiers, doctors, and overs. Taking over, bringing order. But... even the military forces they brought over... did nothing to people who tried to attack them. As those who tried to attack them felt the pain of those they attacked. Until... Atanda Xtor was observed going around, repairing houses, making basic roads, cleaning waterways, and helping with low-class development. No... sci-fi level technology. Just... sci-fi level methods. As he rebuilt houses, roads, and more. As well as helped transport supplies of South Korea, to bring food to places that needed it. Along with support. There were even reports of a weird... crow, Kevin showing up, and entire forests, or areas being repaired in animal, and plant life overnight. Along with Atanda Xtor... repair explosion holes, and more.

Those involved in the past... crimes. Military men. Indoctrinated folk, etc. Suddenly found the military gone. No more limits to free speech. Given food by... a once enemy, as freely as anything. While it repairs their houses. As the UUM... often, instead of bothering with Indoctrinated folk... simply... began to give dreams to people in their sleep of the truth of the world. With their nanobots help. They did not even hide it. Along with this... with South Korea, now going over the border, given permission to expand, and create new infrastructure freely, with even help from the UUM in material costs. Rapid infrastructure began to be constructed. As for education... spread rapidly. Young people adapted quickly, as old people were slower... but with dreams appearing in their sleep every night, of truths from outside. There was little they could do. As narratives flipped, and truth spread rapidly.

Talax later said on the Official UUM twitter "The UUM is too powerful to need to kill... at least for powers like yours. Yes... we will kill if it's required, and sometimes... yes it is. But not for a civilization like you. Once you have grey goo that can turn a planet into a factory, or a weapon strong enough to destroy stars... then perhaps... we will need to kill.

To us... you are children, you are not children, but in terms of knowledge, and mental health... you are, and we are like loving parents. We care about how you think, feel, love, enjoy, and when you suffer. Why? Because we are all BEINGS! We are all things that feel, love, and suffer. So... as a result, when we see suffering, and when we see beings not yet at the same stage of enjoyment as us. We offer them a path to become whatever they want, while lessening suffering.

As you say in your culture... With great power comes great responsibility. We are all beings, and we can all become powerful. But power corrupts if not handled with responsibility. As such... we need to shape you, and guide you to be more responsible. While keeping your individualism, as you all know when a child is forced to become a copy of its parent, it rebels... Also... Yes, i just turned a spiderman quote into history. :)"

A story within The Everything canon, a foundation to it. This is a passion project, and I'm still developing my writing style, so feedback is welcome! If you create fan art, I'd be happy to include it (with credit). The current cover may replace if I get something better. I plan to release one chapter a day, until i catch up to my 109 page story google doc. Edit my chapters to make them better, and more. Refine it over time. Once i run out of backlog content, idk.
