The way Aubrey smelled and tasted plagued him after the cabana incident. The sounds Aubrey made when Sabien sucked him remained a fixture in his dreams, his head falling back exposing the tantalizing lines of his throat, and his lips parting in feverish pants. Sabien wanted to revisit that evening. He wanted to ruin Aubrey in the best way possible and devour him until he couldn’t take it anymore.

A week later, Zachary and Sabien were booked for a House Genevieve shoot, showcasing the spring and summer collection for fashion week. His sister was exploring hyper-feminine designs on the male bodies. Sabien wondered if Aubrey would be in the studio, a question he casually dropped when she went over the finishing touches of their looks. His sister said nothing about the subject, craftily eluding the question as she made the final adjustments.

Sabien and Zachary stood before a fairytale garden as a backdrop. Colorful flowers that captured the night’s essence spilled onto the makeshift field with an immaculate silver moon painted in the sky. Sabien had translucent butterflies pinned in his white-blond hair. Shimmering makeup framed his ice-blue eyes with glitter painted on his exposed skin.

A white corset with pearls sewn on the exposed boning cinched his waist. His chest looked ready to burst, his nipples barely concealed by the ruffles spilling over the top and hanging loosely from his shoulders like sleeves. A double-chained pearl necklace hung from his throat matching his ear studs. Zachary wore a black corset over a sheer blouse. The plunging neckline showed off his cleavage, and gold jewelry accented his look. They represented a mystical duality in the shoot, utterly masculine with the most delicate ensemble.

Neither of them wore pants. Just silk panties and thigh-high tights. The theme was Midsummer Night.

“Him, Sabien?” Zachary scoffed. “When you have me? At least I can give you forever, and what does he have on you—thirty, maybe forty more years tops?” Zachary muttered, getting into the first pose. He was propped on his elbow, the length of his powerful body stretched out languidly. Sabien stood behind him, standing slightly at an angle. A bright red apple was in his hand as his only prop. The makeup artist wearing noise-cancellation headphones adjusted the gold leaves clipped to Zachary’s dark hair, completely unaware of their terse conversation. It didn’t take long for her to clear the scene, carrying away the products she didn’t need.

“He has a name, Zach,” Sabien replied, voice low and dangerous. “And you and I are not anything. Not anymore.”

“Fuck you, Sabien,” Zachary replied before turning his nose and plucking idly at a blue flower. “We were something and you know it. You miss my big cock pounding your—“

“The photographer’s here, everyone!” Vanille called out, her tone suggesting she indeed heard their conversation.

Zachary huffed, barely hiding his pout. Sabien rolled his eyes. How times have changed between them. They used to paint the town red as Zachary put it. Those days were over. Sabien didn’t find their thoughtlessness in society engaging or fulfilling anymore. He had been experiencing that emptiness for a long time. Not until he met Aubrey and his world shifted off its axis.

“Speak of the fucking devil,” Zachary said under his breath, an eyebrow raised as Aubrey entered the studio.

Sabien shot a look in his sister’s direction. Vanille shrugged like she hadn’t a say in this and smiled at Aubrey, welcoming him to the set. It wasn’t the first time they worked together. He’d shot for her before. Sabien’s brows furled as Vanille chatted amicably with Aubrey. He could hear their conversation, but he wasn’t exactly listening.

Sabien drank Aubrey in and felt something dark surfacing at what Aubrey wore. Not only that, his dusky beauty struck him, his deep plum eyes penetrating as they met Sabien’s gaze.

He could feel the tension humming between them. Sabien clenched his jaw, the dark lust churning inside him, raw and intense.

This was going to be a long photoshoot, made even longer with Zachary being a fucking pain in his ass.

Sabien is dangerous to Aubrey in so many ways. He's a mystery Aubrey wants to unravel, unlock every compartment until he finds every little hidden layer, and ultimately, the truth. What about Sabien draws Aubrey to him after all these years? Ten years, to be exact. He has had this crush, long and unspoken until now, where they'd meet again and begin a dark, decadent, and addicting affair, which also pulls Aubrey into a world he didn't know existed.
