“Wait a minute! Where are we going?” Aubrey squawked as Sabien dragged him down the hall. As soon as the photo shoot ended, Aubrey didn’t have a chance to thank the team for their efforts. 

Shooting Sabien and Zachary had been a tense affair. He tried his hardest to focus and get the best shots. He ignored Zachary’s huffs and side eyes and pretended Sabien wasn’t drilling holes in his skull with his intense, icy gaze.

They were at work, and Aubrey prided himself in being professional. Not that he wasn’t thinking about what happened in the cabana and afterward. 

They’d been texting each other, every message borderlining inappropriately. He noticed Sabien tended to toe the line of indecency, leaving Aubrey wanting and desperate. He had never been the type to pine for anyone, let alone wait for their text messages. 

It was a new experience Aubrey wouldn’t trade for anything. Although, part of him wanted to drop it all for self-preservation. Aubrey didn’t get close to anyone. Sabien had been a crush from afar, and to actually get involved with the model could be a disastrous affair.

“Sabien!” Aubrey hissed. 

Sabien didn’t reply and shoved open the door to an empty room. Racks of Genevieve’s designs took up half the room, while the other half had chairs set up in front of the vanities. A red velvet loveseat sat against the wall with a glass coffee table in front. 

A sudden awareness sobered Aubrey as Sabien turned the lock on the door. He hadn’t changed out of the scandalous outfit. Aubrey leaned against the door, his back pressing against the hard surface. 

“When…” Sabien said, stalking toward him. “Did photographers start dressing like this?” 

Aubrey furled his brows in confusion. 

“Wha-what?” 

Sabien closed the distance, aligning their bodies as he snaked his fingers through Aubrey’s and raised their hands above Aubrey’s head. Aubrey gulped as Sabien pinned his hand to the door, effectively trapping him in the cage of his impressive body. 

“You heard me, Bree,” Sabien said silkily, running his other hand up Aubrey’s waist. 

Aubrey shivered hotly, his free hand clenching into a fist as it hung uselessly at his side. 

“This is how I always dress, Sabien. You’re out of your mind if you think this isn’t appropriate.” 

Aubrey liked his outfit for work. He wore a sapphire-blue blouse with a plunging neckline and a diamond-shaped cutout on his back. The blouse was tucked into a pair of high-waisted black pants with wide legs and a Victorian fit, accentuating his waistline. The pants hid his pointy-toed heeled boots that went knee high. 

Meanwhile, Sabien was practically naked in his corset and panties which did little to hide his erection. 

“I don’t care, Bree. People were looking at you.” Sabien seethed, his bright eyes wild. 

Aubrey gaped in confusion. Was this jealousy? They weren’t even anything. Sure, Sabien might have sucked the living hell out of his dick, but they hadn’t discussed whether they were seeing each other like that. Aubrey was a firm believer that relationships were official when properly discussed. Flirting through text messages and hooking up in a tent wasn’t a proper discussion. 

“You’re being crazy.” Aubrey snapped, “And you’re one to talk with…with whatever this is.” 

And god was it fucking sexy on Sabien. He weakly gestured at the outfit, his heart racing as a slow, almost cruel smirk twisted Sabien’s lips. 

“You like it, don’t you?” Sabien purred, pushing his hips into Aubrey’s. “You can see how hard I am for you.”

Aubrey could also feel that impressive bulge digging into his stomach. Aubrey huffed, trying to hide his needy, wanton expression. Sabien had such a strong hold on him. Just like that, he could drop whatever mood he was in because he was horny. It was embarrassing.

Sabien loomed over him, destroying whatever little space existed between them. His crystal gaze pierced Aubrey, freezing him in place.
