Morning light through the classroom window. Yuuji stares out, lost in thought. Students are chatting around him as if he’s invisible.
Narration (Yuuji):
“It’s strange how quickly silence becomes normal. Like the world agreed to mute me the moment I stepped back in it.”
Page 2 – On his desk, a folded piece of paper lies half-hidden under his pencil case. He blinks, confused.
Yuuji (thinking):
“...This wasn’t here before.”
Close-up of the letter. It's plain, no name on it. Yuuji unfolds it slowly.
Narration (letter):
"Don’t trust everything you remember."
"The truth is in the days you’ve forgotten."
Wide shot. Yuuji grips the letter tightly. Background noise fades. Haruka notices him from across the room—her expression shifts slightly, curious.
Narration (Yuuji):
“A prank? A joke? Or something worse... something real?”
The school bell rings. Tomo tosses a paper airplane at Yuuji to break the tension.
Tomo:
“Oi, time to move, ghost boy. Lunch calls!”
As they walk to the rooftop, Yuuji keeps the letter tucked in his pocket. He glances back once. Kanae is still at her desk, eyes closed, like she knows something too.
Narration (Yuuji):
“It’s starting again... whatever ‘it’ is.”
