"A Captivating Ship Under the Sea" ("Poem Based on the Gordon Fairytale, "Esperanza") I am captivated by so many things: the beautiful rusted and tilted paintings on the walls, telling unforgotten stories and past memories through smiling faces, the used and “falling-to-bits” knick knacks lying on the shelves, reminiscing on home and the past of sweet times, the worn and molding clothes with fine hand-embroidery and a regal touch begging to be worn and danced in again, the outdated wooden toys with missing parts and pieces, whispering to be held and played with again. This ship is a beautiful relic from another time, and still home to many souls, Under the sea, they still laugh, sing, dance, and play. I am captivated by their living and breathing love in the air.
