As far as I could remember, she was an evil character. And not the cartoon villain kind—she was the kind of evil that made your skin crawl.
She was feared across the empire for more than just her sharp tongue and unpredictable temper. She manipulated nobles, framed innocents, and executed servants for merely looking her in the eye. If someone crossed her—even by accident—they disappeared.
But that wasn’t the worst of it.
The worst part was what she did after marrying him.
Arkanghel Villa Caelora.
Under the guise of “duty” and “producing an heir,” she forced him to share her bed. Night after night, she broke him down, disregarding his silence, his discomfort, his pain. She didn’t care if he was exhausted or unwilling.
But what made it even more revolting?
She didn’t act alone.
Her brother—the golden prince of Griffanie—was the true puppet master.
He commanded her to do it.
He saw Arkanghel not as a person, but as a tool. A prince of Caelorthia—cold, beautiful, and powerful. They wanted control of the empire, and what better way than through blood?
“Bear an heir with him,” her brother told her.
“And if he resists? Make him submit. You're his empress, use it.”
And she did.
That's why Arkanghel was always cold. Always distant. Always… tired.
And now I'm in her body. Living as the monster he hates.
I don’t know how I’ll survive in this world—but more than that,
I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to redeem this name.
I know I said before that I don’t really know her full story… and I still don’t. Everything I know about Demonica del Griffanie is bits and pieces—whispers from the original novel I barely skimmed, gossip from side characters
How dare they do that to my baby Arkanghel?!
I remember reading this part back in my world—and I was so pissed, it literally interfered with my work as a stuntwoman. Like, I almost dropkicked a co-actor mid-scene just because I remembered what that witch Demonica did to him!
That’s probably why I never really retained the whole plot. My focus was all action and fight choreography, not politics and palace drama. Heck, I even dropped out of college for that career.
And well… look where that got me.
Because of that stupid gig—where I had to do a rooftop jump without a harness—I ended up falling, smashing my head, and now boom! Here I am. Transmigrated into the body of her.
The last thing I remember about my real self?
Blood in my mouth… sky spinning… and the thought: “Damn. Should’ve worn the helmet.”
Arkanghel… I promised you—I swear—this time, I’ll protect you. I’ll care for you
And to everyone this Demonic witch hurt… I’m sorry. I really am. I may not be the real Demonica del Griffanie, but I’m the one stuck in her body now—and I’ll make it right.
Starting today, I’ll clean up the mess she left behind.
One redemption arc, coming right up.
With caffeine, chaos, and zero political knowledge.
She never asked for this life. One moment, she’s binge-reading reincarnation stories in her old world; the next, she wakes up in the body of a cold, ruthless villainess—already crowned Empress. Worse? She has no clue about politics, and she's stuck in a web of intrigue with a husband who looks at her like she’s the devil incarnate..
