3 weeks later, 2:10 PM, Akizo Tonamiya. Inisha has been helping me walk to school for the past few weeks. My legs have almost healed, but my arm looks like it will take a little while longer. *Random people* "Hey, it's those two again, they make quite a cute couple." "I heard they have been living together for the past 3 weeks." *more whispering*. I don't mind what people think, it's not like I am ever going to see them after high school anyway, this is pretty much an everyday thing for me. I can walk pretty well now but I need help opening doors and picking stuff up. I ended up moving to all of her classes because of this. We also got our duo form in, and we are now officially a duo ranger team. Sometimes I feel like she helps me too much, I may be temporarily crippled but I'm not disabled or anything, she even lives in my apartment with Suma and me to help out with the house duties and make sure I don't hurt myself, this has brought way closer than before which can be a little much sometimes. To people around us, we are now an inseparable pair, so rumors are going to spread. To be honest, I would be lying if I said I didn't like her, I don't understand feelings of love or whatever, but this newfound feeling of protectiveness and comfort has really been a change to me. She even sleeps on the floor next to my bed at night because "You might fall out and hurt yourself". I sometimes even get force-fed because "You can't eat on your own yet". Uh-huh, I 100% can, but Suma disagrees with her, right? "Yeah, Tona, you shouldn't be eating on your own yet, just accept your fate". Never mind, she's Suma.

4:25 PM. "Hey Toma, it looks like you are going to be healed by next week". "Really? Great, I can't wait to get back out there again". Inisha calls me by a nickname now, First name bases are something that would make sense by now, but nicknames?? I guess I'll make an effort to call her Iroha now. It's only fair. Suma is loving this more than anybody right now, *teasing* "Oh, how lovey-dovey, you two are perfect". Suma has always been worried about me, sometimes I feel like she is the more mature one, even though she's 10... but this is different, she has found a new hobby in shipping me and Iroha, and I have a feeling she won't stop until something happens.

Yet another beautiful morning, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the, uh, MISSION To&In IS NOT COMPLETE!!!, today I have a plan, an evil plan, this will make sure my goals are met for sure. No doubt about it. Why am I so invested? It's simply because I want my brother to be happy, I know what has been shadowing him, and I know the pain he goes through, and I can tell those two are 100% into each other, it's just not spoken into words, quite pitiful. If I were one of them, I would have confessed already. Well, no matter, I have no doubt I can pull something off today, this needs to be done before Tona fully recovers, I have even gone as far as to set up connections across the city to help this go to plan. This is going to be great. "Hey, Suma, what's so funny?" Oh crap, I need to be more discrete.

3:23 PM, Inisha Iroha. October 13. We decided to go on a walk with Suma today, it was actually her idea this time, the area is a pretty nice park surrounded by a ton of small bridges and rivers. Suma is awfully cheerful today, she typically looks pretty monotone and calm. Toma also seemed to be pretty high-spirited, but that was probably because he had hardly been outside for a month. The walk has been pretty nice so far, "Hey, Tona Ina, I need to run an errand, good luck you two~~", "Is she fine going off alone?". "Should be, I would feel bad for anybody who attempts to do anything to her". "Alrighty then, I'll take your word for it". Things were going just fine until one step, the one step I took, the ground beneath me crumpled, and I tripped. Toma caught me pretty quickly, although it looked like it hurt, then he stumbled, losing balance, and we both fell into the river. It was cold, and we were both freezing to death, luckily none of us got hurt from that,t although Toma was pretty shook, "Too close". He shuttered. "Oh, my bad." I accidentally fell on top of him, we quickly got up and started to make our way to where Suma ran off. On the way, cold and wet, we ran into a dude who tried to sell us a twin bracelet set, it was "magical,l" he said. We also ran into a restaurant clerk who decided to give us 95% off, so we ate there, still wet from the river of course. "Hey, I got a text from Suma, she says that she doesn't know when she'll be back, but at least she's fine". That was good. I started to worry about her. I find it hard to believe she is strong enough to give tough people trouble, but if Toma is not worried, I shouldn't be either. After the almost free dinner, we headed in the first direction we saw, "Is it just me or did it get suuuuper cold out just now?". "Yeah, I can feel it too". "Quickly, huddle up, that should provide some decent body warmth". "Great idea". You may think it would look embarrassing to be tightly huddled up while walking, but to rangers, we learn from a young age not to fear public opinion. Although this is pretty close together, never mind ANYTHING FOR WARMTH. This is what I told myself as an excuse while we walked down the street of a place we had never been before. *Whisper* "What a cute couple". People are talking about us now, but even if I were to care about what others thought, would I mind? The cold trip was finally over, and Suma still hadn't returned yet. "Sooo waarm~" The heat of the apartment was the best thing I had felt all day, "I'm going to take a shower, can you keep an eye out for Suma for me?". "Sure, no problem".

9:03 PM, Akizo Suma. It's been a long day, all that work really tired me out, I should probably head home soon, I'm sure Tona is going to start worrying if I take much longer. But forget that, I bet those two got really close, maybe even, woah, too close. I bet I outdid myself. *Evil smirk*. I know my methods weren't exactly nice and all but you've got to do what you've got to do. This will be a memory neither of them will EVER forget, mehehehe. Even better yet, I am skillfully aware of how rangers act, this "others' opinions don't matter to you" stuff and "embarrassment is only a word" would have most rangers doing whatever, and I mean whatever to keep themselves in the fight, and in this case to keep warm. The apartment began to come into view, the night air was cool, and everything was silent, only interrupted by the distant sounds of crickets. Shadows covered everything, the world was still evolving, and humans were still progressing. The gain of personal abilities and the usage of high tech that was once out of reach, everything was in hopes of one simple goal; this goal had no name, but people once believed it to be really important at some time in the past. Now there were only 3 days until Tona could get back onto the field, this time with a perfect partner in tow. The lights in the apartment turned off as I reached the base of the building. It must be too late for our duo, or that trip was tiresome. (Suma's evil tricks were still in play, but this time the plan succeeded with perfect success).

Bonus: Simple misunderstandings. In Japan, last names are put first. For example, Akizo is Tonamiya and Suma's last name, while Inisha is Iroha's last name. Toma is a nickname given to Tonamiya by Iroha, and Tona is a shortened name given by Suma. First-name bases are where people refer to each other using their first names, this is only done by close friends, family or significant others. Otherwise, you'd always refer to somebody by their last name.
