<Snowstorm> was a boys love’s novel and omegaverso that Luciano always read. A romance between an alpha who was a knight of the Roveaven Empire and an omega who is discovered lost son of a noble and suffers prejudice from high society for having lived with commoners.

Like all romance, the omega and the alpha go through difficulties to finally get together. And this is thanks to the possessive love of history’s first villain, Magnus Grimwood, an omega who holds the title of Grand Duke.

Luciano loved to read it just to see the scenes in which Magnus Grimwood appeared. Maybe it was his preference to be interested in the villains of the stories he reads, but Magnus had something else that always caught his attention.

"And then, Maverick lowered his incredulous eyes to the omega he held in his arms. How could that sweet and gentle person be unconscious after drinking a glass of lemonade?

Maverick’s muddy fingers caressed Stephen’s pale cheek. But it was an evil laugh that reminded him that there was a person who could hurt Stephen without any shame.

‘Magnus!’

The fury of the alpha shot the beautiful Magnus. His crimson red eyes shone brightly in pure malice. Sitting on the upholstery and with his legs crossed, Magnus raised the glass of champagne as if to toast the fainting of his rival."

Magnus was an ambitious, malicious and arrogant villain. People who were not worthy of his attention received his indifference and coldness. And the fact that the Grimwood family was surrounded by dark rumors, the reputation of this omega made everything even more fascinating for Luciano.

A handsome, charming villain, described as a hot and dubious character... Luciano simply loved that character.

“Not even crane would take me out of him...” It was the comment that Luciano always made when he read the scenes in which Magnus appeared. “This Maverick is an idiot for preferring a boring like Stephen instead of Magnus... what a waste.”

Like every novel, the villain existed to make the reader prefer the main couple. The villain needed to have questionable behaviors to mess with the emotional of the reader, and also be the stimulator for the protagonists to develop beyond their comfort zone. Magnus made Maverick and Stephen fight more and more for their love, threatening them with his desire to steal the alpha for himself.

But when the main couple overcomes their limits and reach their end, what happens to the villain?

The hated character has the expected end.

“Argh! What anger! These assholes of Stephen and Maverick are not good even to save the villain! Where is the goodness that so much talk, you sons of a bitch, aaaaaaah!”

Luciano was always angry when he arrived at the scene where Magnus was killed. It was frustrating to see the death of your favorite character, and even more frustrating to see the protagonists not feel bad about his death.

Right, Grand Duke Grimwood was not the best person in the world, yet he was the head of a powerful family! Poor Magnus’ brothers, who were described in a state of unbelief at the funeral of his own brother. Even the first prince, who was Magnus' best friend, was shaken by his sudden death.

“Trash, this Maverick is a garbage. Poor Magnus... if I were the protagonist, I would save you without even thinking twice.”

After reading for the thousandth time, Luciano continued with his routine: prepare something to eat, take a shower and go to sleep, because the next day he would have to get up early to work. Only that night he was feeling extremely fatigued, his eyes were so heavy that he could barely keep them open.

The drowsiness was so much that he confused his clothes full coat rack with a silhouette hidden in the shadows staring at him at the foot of the bed. Only that his heart accelerated some beats when he heard an ethereal, feminine and delicate voice, whispering a sweet melody in his head:

“Gracious mother, bright stone that guides the lost, guide me in the vast darkness to my lighthouse and grace me with your wisdom, so be it and so do.”

At least these were his last memories as Luciano. When he opened his eyes again, he was trapped in that body and place. It’s been a month since Luciano became the eighth prince of the Roveaven Empire, and until now he had no idea how he ended up in his favorite story.

He even tried to look for something in the library of that immense palace, but there were few books that made any sense.

The problem was not even that, trying to find out the reason for its coming into history, but rather survive inside it.

“You must know why I called you here, Lucian.”

The authority of an Emperor caused a gigantic pressure, as if just standing in front of him was enough to be a crime.

The long blonde hair that fell on his shoulders and the clear eyes that resembled an angel who left heaven to live on earth among humans... Such beauty was described about the Emperor, the father of the eighth prince.

Certainly Lucian was stunned to see such a beautiful character in front of him, yet he continued to tremble before his presence. Mainly because the Emperor of Roveaven stared at him so intensely that it became uncomfortable.

Was his relationship with the real Lucian bad? There wasn’t so much detail in the original story.

“I’m afraid I don’t know, Your Majesty.”

“It’s about your marriage. It’s time to determine your partner, an alpha should not be without an omega.”

Lucian wanted to remain silent all the time, but the Emperor’s clear eyes were gauging him intensely. In the original story, the Emperor did not appear very often, which made him a mysterious and scary person to face.

That is, until then the characters of that story were easy to deal with, since Lucian had information from them based on the story. Like Argus, for example, a faithful servant who gives life in place of Lucian, there was no reason to distrust the poor beta. But with the Emperor, the father of the character he possessed, it was different. One had to be careful to avoid his fury.

“And with whom does Your Majesty wish to unite me?”

“You will marry the Grand Duke Grimwood.”

Lucian did not hide the surprise in his face.

A political marriage. And with to that person.

Lucian did not have a political marriage in the original story, and this made him anxious. Of course, his heart was happy just to see Magnus Grimwood, however that character was a villain who had no connection with Lucian other than the tragic end. Them two were strange.

“May I know why you chose me to be the husband of Grimwood?”

“ I intended to ask Cadec to officiate this engagement, but your brother seems to have other plans in mind.”

Lucian’s clear eyes shrunk slightly.

He should have guessed, Lucian would be the replacement of your brother in trying to trap the Grimwood to the imperial family. Still, it was an unexpected event.

“I’ll make arrangements for you two to meet at the best possible opportunity. Don’t let me down, Lucian.”

The Emperor gave him an order as a ruler and not as a father, Lucian only bowed his head and withdrew from the throne room. Even if his clenched fists tremble, he could do nothing but obey.

It was inside a story you read, and there was no one to lean on. Luciano had become another person who had a rope around his neck and could die in the slightest error committed.

As much as he hated such an idea, he would only obey for the sake of his survival.

He would only need to find a way to make all that plot favorable to him.

“Haa... he’s scary. Thought I wouldn’t be able to control my tremor”,  Lucian opened and closed his fingers in a fist, noticing the slight tremor of fear. “But now I have a chance to stay with my little villain, hehe.”

“Your Highness? Have you finished the meeting with His Majesty?”

As soon as he heard the comforting voice of his servant, Lucian raised his fingers in victory.

“Hehe, should we celebrate?”

“I recommend you celebrate when the Grand Duke agrees to it, Your Highness.”

“Don’t be boring, Argus. Besides, I have the right to be happy, right? Since I can see my little villain.”

“Haa... Your Highness, you are the only person I know who has such affection for the Grand Duke.”

“I like the idea of being the only one.”

Yes, he would be greedy to get everything he wanted and needed. Especially if it meant getting his survival.

In the Roveaven Empire, the Omegas are the heads of their families for the most part and the Alphas are valiant soldiers who fight bravely. At least this is the premise of the book that Luciano loves to read. But how would it be to live within your favorite book and have the chance to meet your favorite character?

Luciano wakes up in the body of Lucian Saint Richmond, the eighth son of Roveaven’s Emperor whose only end that awaits him is death. Finding out the reason for his coming to the book and ensuring his survival become his main task, but it is difficult to do this being a renegade prince and abandoned without any political support. In addition, the Emperor gives him a direct order to marry a Grand Duke!

Lucian couldn’t be happier with the news, as the Grand Duke is none other than Magnus Grimwood, the first villain in history and his literary crush. Would saving the life of your villain and yourself be the answer that Lucian seeks?
