Maverick had met Stephen on a mission to protect a village near the border. During the time that the alpha remained in the village to fulfill his mission, they became increasingly close until the point of Maverick discovering that Stephen was the lost son of Earl Baragnon.

It was after the war, on his way back, that Maverick began to show more of his love for omega. And as Magnus accompanied Maverick, there arose a love triangle.

Lucian was aware that his villain would already be taking the first step to his villainy. A drug that would force Stephen’s heat and make him fall into the arms of another alpha, and thus break the trust between the main couple.

The problem was that Lucian would mess up Magnus' plans.

“Is there a problem, Your Grace?”, asked Stephen innocently.

Magnus blinked stunned and Lucian could only swallow his victorious smile.

“No... I thought I saw something...”

Ah, he wouldn’t admit that he tried to drug the Count’s son, right? And for now, Lucian didn’t feel anything at all. As long as he didn’t feel any problems, Lucian could play a little bit with the psychological of your villain, couldn’t him? After all, Magnus called him a rat...

Yes, he was spiteful. A spiteful prince.

“Oh, the dance is over. Wow, they dance so well, don’t you think, Your Highness?”

“Indeed, young Baragnon. My sister seems to have fun while dancing and I’m glad I ran away from her joy.”

“Haha, Your Highness really only dances when forced, doesn’t you?”

Lucian smiled in courtesy.

As was typical of a protagonist, Stephen was beautiful. An angel that fell from heaven, with a melodious voice. However, Lucian preferred the gloom of a certain villain who looked at him from time to time as if he cursed him.

“Sir Magnus, if you keep staring at me like that I’ll think you’re asking me for a dance.”

“It would be a mistaken idea, Your Highness. I don’t dance.”

“Great, so I will feel safe by your side.”

The servant approached to exchange the glasses for new drinks, and Lucian thanked with a cordial smile. When a noble lady came to greet Stephen and Magnus, the eighth prince took the opportunity to drip some drops of that drug into the Grand Duke’s cup.

Now the two were drugged, and at any moment would collapse in that party.

“Lucian, did you see how well Sir Maverick dances? I could see that he hides his skills well.”

“My sister, you seem to be glad that you discovered the knight’s dancing skills”, Lucian said happily, sipping a sip of his drink before Raven could grab him and drag him into the center of the hall.

“I am, indeed.”

“You are flattering me, Your Highness.”

Lucian ignored the conversation between the two when Magnus took his cup and drank a sip of the drink. He grimaced at first, and Lucian looked away quickly before he was caught.

In the next few minutes, Lucian realized that some alphas were trying to approach Magnus to court him and call him to dance, but his cold and distant look drove away the suitors. In addition to the fact that they were in the presence of Lucian and Maverick, two alphas, also contributed to this fact.

Well, it seems that Lucian was not the only one who wanted to climb the high walls of Magnus Grimwood. It is a pity that he would be the only one to force his entry into Grand Duke’s life.

A forced entry based on blackmail and gambling.

Lucian smiled slightly when the drug’s effect appeared.

Magnus drank the wine and left the glass empty on the table. And maybe it was the aroma of the wine, but certainly that stirred with Lucian. An aroma so sweet and soft, that snaked his neck squeezing and choking making his heart accelerate several beats.

As he felt that aroma become more and more clear, Lucian realized he was not well. Lucian’s lured fingers pulled lightly the tie and opened the first button of the shirt in a desperate attempt to cool down.

The heat rose slowly and the aroma of wine coming from Magnus was intense. His head seemed to get light and dizzy, maybe it was his pressure falling. Would he pass out in the middle of the party? He hoped not.

“If you’ll excuse me, I will... run away for a while before my sister calls me to dance.”

“Lucian!”

Without saying anything more, Lucian hurried away from that group.

What a feeling... strange and suffocating!

It was like he was sick, but deep down there was that strange feeling of losing control over something. Lucian felt that he was repressing something inside himself, but what exactly?

His feet hurried him to the first door he saw ahead. Luckily for fate, the cold air passing through the balcony door of that room helped cool the sudden heat that seemed to set his bones on fire.

The view of the sunset with a beautiful garden and a refreshing breeze really helped Lucian. Breathing deeply, he could still feel his legs getting flabby and the blood running through his veins.

“But what the hell is this...”

“It is I who would like to know, Your Highness.”

Just hearing that voice, the whole body of Lucian winced. The soft breeze of that sunset carried gently the smell of wine to the prince, who took a deep breath and felt his heart accelerate more and more.

“Magnus... what can I do for you?”

“I will not curl up and make a fool of myself”, Magnus approached Lucian, and just being so close was enough for the prince to feel the urge to stick his face in the Grand Duke’s neck and kiss those fine lips, “Why did he change the cups and drink that drink?”

Lucian wanted to play the innocent, but the pressure of those crimson eyes on him did not give him the courage to play. Magnus saw him changing the cups and did not like it.

“Could not believe that it was just a coincidence?”

“You knew what you were doing”, Magnus narrowed his eyes. “What is your intention?”

Lucian leaned against the wall of the room, having less and less strength to stand. He was sweating, getting hot as he felt more the smell of wine. His eyes were treacherous in judging Magnus' beautiful neck, his well-drawn jaw and the small pinpoint on the right corner of his lip.

If he could just kiss him...

Clenching his fingers, Lucian held his desire to pull that villain by the waist.

“I just want to create a problem for you.”

“A problem?”

“Well, the Grand Duke tried to drug Count Baragnon’s son... It would certainly be very troublesome if anyone knew of such a tragedy just on such a happy night.”

The crimson eyes narrowed menacingly.

“Are you threatening me?”

Magnus released his pheromones, and the soft aroma of wine stirred with Lucian who took a few steps back and panted. His breathing accelerated and the desire to grab the omega increased dramatically.

Only that it was too late.

Maybe that was the most foolish decision made by Magnus, because Lucian also released the pheromones. Although he had no idea how he had done it, he noticed the stoic face of Magnus writhing and his chest going up and down hard.

“You are...”

“Take responsibility, Magnus Grimwood”, Lucian was asking, taking a deep breath, pulling away from the wall and approaching the omega. The lured fingers of the prince wrapped around the waist of the Grand Duke and his face came dangerously close to his neck, “for having drugged the eighth prince.”

Magnus probably wouldn’t know he was drugged either, but he was being affected by the effects and pheromones of Lucian. The alpha raised his blue eyes to the omega and increased more and more its smell covering the omega. The loss of reason led Lucian to bring his face closer to the omega’s neck, feeling more its smell.

Magnus grasped Lucian’s neck, his dilated pupils denouncing the chaotic state in which he remained.

“Your fucking alpha...”

Magnus kissed Lucian and moaned when his lips finally touched. The pheromones that threw on each other did the expected effect, increasing the desire that the aphrodisiac drug aroused in both.

Kissing his favorite character was unimaginable and unexpected, but Magnus had a delicious kiss. His thin lips moved with will and his tongue explored the mouth of Lucian with anxiety.

Lucian’s hands moved on their own, grabbing Magnus' waist without leaving any space between them. His body sweated, his smell intensified, his thirst increased and all he could do was kiss Magnus with infinite will.

Wanted to own it as soon as possible.

In the Roveaven Empire, the Omegas are the heads of their families for the most part and the Alphas are valiant soldiers who fight bravely. At least this is the premise of the book that Luciano loves to read. But how would it be to live within your favorite book and have the chance to meet your favorite character?

Luciano wakes up in the body of Lucian Saint Richmond, the eighth son of Roveaven’s Emperor whose only end that awaits him is death. Finding out the reason for his coming to the book and ensuring his survival become his main task, but it is difficult to do this being a renegade prince and abandoned without any political support. In addition, the Emperor gives him a direct order to marry a Grand Duke!

Lucian couldn’t be happier with the news, as the Grand Duke is none other than Magnus Grimwood, the first villain in history and his literary crush. Would saving the life of your villain and yourself be the answer that Lucian seeks?
