They finally reached the end. Sebastian peeked around, there were no underground people on sight. They walked out from the crumbled building.

"Rob, how much farther?"

"Just 3 more blocks," he replied “The fog getting thicker..”

“Yeah..” said Sebastian “but we can use it to our advantage.”

"Let's have some rest," said Enid.

She nodded at Shanna who looked tired, she also still weeping.

“Okay,” he said.

“Pass me water..” Rob extending his hand.

Enid took water bottles from her bag and gave it to Sebastian and Rob.

“If only I brought those drones,” Rob sighed “We could see those bastard location..”

“You’re right.. sorry..” he said.

He gave the transmitter to Rob, telling him to informed Sannekth of their situation. He leaned against the wall as he opened the bottle. He was about took a sip, when there’s a loud crack.

"Watch out!" warned Rob.

The wall behind him fell to the ground, making a loud thud, echoing through the ruins. They heard engine noise rushing towards them. Sebastian was horrified.

He yelled "Run!"

They ran as fast as they could, but Shanna fell down on the snow. They returned to helped her stand, but she was too exhausted and told them to leaves her behind.

"Screw this!" Rob lifted and carried her on his back.

Sebastian looked back and saw silhouette of vehicle under the fog "Go! I’ll slow them!"

"What?!" Enid was shocked.

"Just go!" he saw her still stood there "Go! I’ll catch up!"

"O- okay! be careful!" she ran after Rob.

He aimed his corinth at the vehicle coming out of the fog. The shot hit the side of the vehicle, blowing one of it tires, causing it to swiveled and hit the building nearby. He was about to aimed at another when on the corner of his eyes, a huge underground people appeared from the fog beside him. It swung its hammer at him, but he was able to evades it in a nick of time.

It was about to swung its hammer again, but it got blasted away. From direction of the blast, he saw Enid, aiming her corinth at the huge underground people.

“Sebas! Over here!” she waved at him.

"Behind you!" he shouted

Another underground people appeared behind her, knocking her corinth and pinned her to the ground.

Sebastian was about to go saved her when the one with the head ornament ordered him to dropped his weapon. More underground people appeared, they were now surrounded.

"Surrender," said the head ornament underground people "and i will spare you. You are not the one we are looking for.." extending it’s hand at Sebastian.

"My liege-" said the underground people beside it.

The ornate underground people waved its hand, the one beside him stopped talking.

"Who are you?" Sebastian barked.

"I am Oziah.." he bowed "I am the patriarch of this land, by the order of the gods."

"Gods?" he could see Oziah’s face under his mask "Wait, you're human?"

"Of course," he said "We are human just like you, now-"

"If you are human, why you killed Shanna's family?"

"Shanna? Who- oh.. the abomination."

"Abomination?! She's a human!" Sebastian yelled.

The underground people surrounding them began laughing.

"Silence please.." said Oziah calmly.

The laughing quickly died down.

"Why you defended those abomination?" Oziah waving his hand “You’re human like us.”

“Don’t lump with you!” Sebastian snapped “Human? you’re monster! all of you!”

“Pity..” he snide.

More underground people appeared from the fog, they stood beside him.

"Have you found the abomination?"

"Forgive us my liege, we-"

"And why are you still here?" Oziah shook his head "find-"

Enid used the moment to headbutt the face of underground who pinned her. It mask cracked causing it to freaked out, trying to covered it mask.

Sebastian quickly shoot at the crowd of underground people behind Enid before running towards her and grabbed her hand. They ran past through the disarrayed underground people.

Oziah shook his head, gesturing at his fellow underground people to ran after them.

Sebastian and Enid ran as fast as they could. Several underground people blocking their way. He aimed to shoot them, but one of them threw their hammer at his face, causing him to dropped his corinth.

He shook his head and just in time to see the underground people swinging his hammer at him. He evaded and punched the man in the gut, knocking him out cold. He saw his hand in amazement, he didn't know he was this strong.

He took the hammer and swinging it at the incoming underground people. He and Enid managed to took down all of them before continued running.

A loud bang and something went through his shoulder. It stings a lot and blood began gushing from his shoulder. He turned and saw Oziah pointing a weapon resembling corinth at him. Enid rushed to his side, trying to stopped the bleeding, however they were again surrounded.

"You wasted my kindness.. I thought we could be friends..” he smiled “ now.. instead, i will dissect all of you to learn your secret.."

He shoot his weapon again. Sebastian wailed as it hits his left shoulder. Enid screamed and jumped in front of him, trying to shields him from Oziah.

"Touching.." he sneered, pointing his weapon at Enid, "do not worry, your two will-"

An engine sound rushing toward them, their rai'cawl smashed through the underground people (Oziah managed to evades) and stopped beside them.

Rob shouted over the window, "Quick! inside!"

Enid helped him get inside their rai'cawl; Shanna was on the back seat, covering her face with her hands.

"Hang on!" Rob yelled.

Rob drove their rai'cawl at maximum speed and quickly left the ruins. Sebastian looked back, there was no sign of the underground people chasing them.

"Stay still!" Enid trembled while checking his shoulder.

"It's that bad?" he winched in pain when she applied the ointment and bandage.

"I thought you going to die!"

"Hey, i already informed Sannekth our situation" Rob muttered "he's on the way, and.. Ammaurith is furious."

They heard engine sound behind them. He looked back and saw several underground people vehicles were gaining on them.

"Rob! faster!" Enid yelled.

"This already max!" he turned to Sebastian "shoot them maybe?"

"We dropped ours.."

"Seriously? here!" he gave his corinth.

Sebastian set the corinth at maximum power and opened the window. Ignoring the pain, he shoot at one of the vehicle behind them, flipping it upside down. He shot and destroyed another , but more still chasing them..

"They're so persistent!"

"Rob!" Enid pointed.

One of the vehicle sped up and about to rammed their side.

"Brace onto something!" Rob yelled.

A loud thump, the items on the back flew from their compartment. Fortunately their vehicle was fine, however the underground people vehicle who rammed them swiveled around before falling into a crater.

Rob laughed "Yeah! you like that huh!"

The other vehicles began slowing down.

"Are they given up?" asked Enid

Suddenly something exploded beside them. Sebastian looked back, the underground people threw some kind of ball at them, it caused a huge explosion when it hit the ground. They threw more and one hit their rai’cawl. The explosion was strong enough to shattered the side windows and dented the door.

"Everyone alright?" Sebastian shook his head.

"Shit! Shit! those bastards crazy!"

"Her helmet!" Enid gasped, pointing at Shanna, the visor was cracked.

He quickly jumped to the back and took a sealant tape from the floor. He stumbling around trying to returned to his seat. He used the tape to sealed her helmet.

Rob cursed while trying his best to evades the explosions. Another loud explosion and their rai'cawl flown to the sky and flipped upside down before crashing to the ground.

Groaning in pain, Sebastian looked around. He helped Enid and Shanna crawling out from their rai'cawl; Rob followed behind them. When they finally gets out from their vehicle, the underground people had them surrounded.

Oziah stood in front of them "Should have surrendered.."

He shot Enid's leg with his weapon; Shanna screamed seeing Enid fell to the ground.

"Ah the abomination.." he said "Your eyes will be-"

"You bastard!" Rob yelled and charged at him but he got thrown to ground.

"Barbari-"

Sebastian was able to broke free and lunged at Oziah. He repeatedly punching his face, cracking his mask. The underground people rushed to saved Oziah, Sebastian was pinned to the ground.

"You-" Oziah furious, coughing blood "how dare you! I’ll kill all of you! i-"

A loud swooping noise and they were covered under the shadow. They all looked up and saw their landing craft hovering above them.

“What is that?” one the underground people asked.

“A flying beast!” shouted the other.

A large figure jumped from the craft and landed beside them. Gersoth quickly grabbed the underground people who was pinning Sebastian and threw them to ground.

“It- it’s the star people!”

“Fools! Attack them!” Oziah yelled.

A group of underground people surrounded Gersoth, but he swiftly backhanded all of them in one clean swoop, sending them flew few distances away.

Sannekth and the others also landed besides them, they joined Gersoth attacking the underground people; Pulkth chanted a battle cry as he kicked an underground people on the face; Ammaurith tends to Enid's wound and told Ampr to carried all of them to sides before joining the fight.

"Everyone, alright?" asked Ampr while carrying them.

"How's Enid?" Sebastian muttered.

"I'm.. fine.." she replied.

"Who- who are you?" Shanna stammered looking at Ampr.

"Let me down! i want to punched those bastard!" Rob protested.

Ampr put them down. She stayed behind with Enid and Shanna, while Sebastian and Rob rushed to help Sannekth and the others.

“Payback time!” Rob punched the underground people.

Sebastian tackled the underground people who was about to hit Laenoth with a hammer. She thanked him before lifting them above her head and threw them away.

“Die star filth!” Oziah aimed his weapon at Sannekth’s back.

"Yo, bastard!" Rob charging at him.

"Fiends!" he yelled, he shot his weapon at him.

Rob groaned as he fell to the ground, blood gushing from his belly.

"Rob!" Sebastian yelled “You! I’m going to-”

Oziah saw him coming and began shooting at him, but he kept charging. Ignoring the pain, he pounced Oziah to the ground. The last thing he remembered was taking his weapon.
