‘Wake up! Wake up!!’

Ace opens his eyes to see Raiden whispering loudly to him. Ace groans ‘Where are we?’.

‘Trust me, I’m as confused as you are. I think we went unconscious in Kamïe so we’re definitely not there anymore.’ Replies Raiden promptly.

Ace and Raiden are in a completely sealed dimly lit room. The walls are grey. There was one red door leading to the outside, but after much trial and error, they figure out that it was locked from the outside.

‘This is all your fault.’ Says Ace turning away from Raiden

‘How is it my fault? I didn’t ask the demons to attack!’ Replies Raiden shouting. ’I guess their planning was just really good. I don’t think anyone including the higher gods expected that.’

‘So those were the demons, huh?’ Says Ace calmed down.

‘Yeah, and if we don’t do anything about it we’re in a lot of trouble.’ Says Raiden with a hint of paranoia. ‘You saw what they did to Kamïe. Almost everyone died.’

‘I guess we should start with getting out of here…’ Replies Ace

Just then the door blasts open and a demon with a lab coat and gloves walk through accompanied by two demon guards.

‘Hello my subjects!’ Says the demon. ‘My name is Kagakuma.’

‘Why did you bring us here?’ Shouts Raiden.

‘You two are the only teenage gods right now. Everyone else in Kamïe is either too old and unlocked all their powers or too young and doesn’t know they have powers.’ Explains Kagakuma calmly. ‘You both are perfect. You know your potential but haven’t quite unlocked it yet. That makes you very strong if you can get your full powers soon.’

‘So what do you want with us?’ Asks Ace

‘Simple. I am going to turn you to the demons side so we can use powers like yours for our good.’ Kagakuma says coolly

‘What?!-‘

‘Take them!’ Commands Kagakuma interrupting Ace.

Ace and Raiden are pulled by the guards and then dragged through a lot of hallways, until they reach a basement looking place with some chairs and a glass screen  behind which is another room.

‘What are you doing?’ Asks Raiden

‘We are going to put you in this chamber and just experiment with your powers.’ 

‘Let us go right now!’ Cries Raiden

‘Put them in the chamber.’

The guards open a glass door and toss Raiden and Ace into the room. Someone whispers into Kagakuma’s ear

‘Uhh… sir, I think we forgot the controller.’

‘Oh come on!’ Kagakuma screams ‘ I will be right back. You two! Don’t think about moving.’

‘What do we do?’ Says Ace.

‘Well, preferably get to Kamïe, but who knows if there’s still a Kamïe to get back to.’ Replies Raiden. ‘We need to get out of here.’

‘Ok… by the way, if I am a god like you say I am, then how come I don’t have any powers?’ Says Ace.

‘Maybe you do. You just don’t know it yet.’ Says Raiden

Suddenly Kagakuma comes back into the room.

‘Let’s get started shall we?’

He pulls out a remote from his pocket and presses a button. A pat of the ground in front of Kagakuma opens and a control panel comes out. He presses another button, and inside the glass chamber the roof opens and a Ray-Gun looking machine comes out.

‘What are you going to do?’ Says Ace

‘I am just going to check something’ Kagakuma responds

‘Check what?’

‘If you haven’t unlocked any powers yet, then this is harmless…’ Says Kagakuma

‘And if we have?’ Asks Raiden slightly panicking inside.

‘It’s just gonna disintegrate you from the inside so we can use the radiation coming from your powers since they would be released’

Says Kagakuma coolly.

‘I don’t think that’s how that works.’ Says Raiden.

‘Well, there’s only one way to find out.’

Responds Kagakuma Shrugging.

‘Is this a problem? I’m pretty sure we haven’t unlocked any powers yet. At least, I’m sure I haven’t.’ Ace whispers to Raiden.

‘I think I have.’ Responds Raiden. ‘According to the other gods I’m supposed to be a god of speed, and I can run VERY fast. I don’t know if that’s a power or me being a god of speed I was just born like that.’

‘Well, let’s just cross our fingers.’ Says Ace.

‘Also I just want to clarify… we have never used this machine before so anything can happen, and on that basis, oops!’ Says Kagakuma pressing the button.

There’s a flash. The room becomes extremely bright. And then…

‘What?!’ Cries Kagakuma.

Ace and Raiden disappeared, the glass shield was shattered, the machine was destroyed, the demon guards were dead on the floor but the door was still locked. Ace and Raiden either were disintegrated by the machine or left without a trace when no one could see.

Then.. the door is blasted down. Ace is behind it, eyes glowing white, a slight purple aura around him, levitating in the air.

‘What is happening?’ Says Kagakuma. ‘Did my machine take away your powers or give you them?’

‘I don’t know. But whatever the answer is, you better start begging for your kingdom.’ Says Ace

‘What happened to the other kid?’ Kagakuma asks

‘Raiden? He’s outside.’

Ace flies up through the roof and breaks through the multiple floor until he reached the top, where he found a throne room. Ace and Raiden had been brought to the palace of the demons.

‘You!’ Says Ace pointing at the person sitting in the throne. ‘Are you the king of the demons?’

‘Yes, I am, and who are you.’ Says the king.

‘Your worst nightmare.’ Says Ace preparing to fight. ‘And you better start running.’
