☆~ I thought I'd post this scrapped scene while I'm on hiatus ;) This takes place after Cyrus left the living room to get his bag from the stable. ~☆

⋅⋅⊱༻ THE BATHROOM ༺⊰⋅⋅

The bathroom is spacious, the door doesn't open to the main room but rather to a sink and hangers, giving a bit of privacy to whoever might be undressed inside, whether they are soaking in the bathtub or the big bassin carved into the floor. The toilet has its own door next to the sink. Unlike the rest of the house that’s lined with wood, the bathroom floor is made of stone.

Konran is led to the bathroom by Briony.

“I'll be back to give you fresh robes, enjoy~”

"okaaaay!!"

She waves bye-bye at Clematia then closes the door behind her.

"....how does any of this work tho?"

She walks up to the sink. She knows this one!! It's pretty easy to maneuver aswell! She moves to the bathtub. Looks... Manageable..? She then steps closer to the basin and just stands there.

"So many water sources... Too many... I wonder if I can use them all at once!"

She finds the bathtub ready with hot water and various flowers floating about, dandelions, lindens and roses. There are towels on a wooden bench next to it, and a soap bar decorated like a cookie would be.

"awwe or I guess they already set it up."

She pouts all while undressing and throwing her clothes messily to the side.

"Warer!!!"

She was about to jump in but suddenly got a flashback of Cyrus's angry stare so she stops herself before she splashes water everywhere... Plus, the flowers are too cute to ruin.

"Hmm I wonder who set this up!! Carefully putting in all these petals pffft.” She talks to herself while slowly dipping her foot in the tub water. It’s super warm!! “But I guess it's more likely Miss Betty! She's like a shadow agent!!" After settling down in the bathtub and sinking in it until the water almost touched her nose, she started making bubbles by blowing in the water, and soon enough noticed the brown cookies on a plate to the side next to her… Her eyes lit up.

"My!! They're so generous!! They even made us snacks for the bath experience hehehe I feel super rich!!"

She grabs the cookies happily, spilling some of the water from her erratic movements.

"Oh? Such slippery sweets!!"

She giggles as she holds it and stares at it intently... It had beautiful decorations, the baker must be someone who loves their job!

She takes a big happy bite of the soap.

At first it’s the texture that strikes her as weird, a bit hard but it caves in nonetheless to her unfathomable biteforce. It starts slightly melting into her mouth, but only on the surface level. It gets stuck between her teeth as she chews down and then, an intense bitter taste overwhelms her.

"mm?..mmmMMMMMMMMM"

She tries to spit it out but it's stuck between her teeth and the taste seeps in more as the soap continues to melt.

"DISHGUSHTING!!!"

She abruptly stands up from the bitterness and digs her hand in her mouth, grabbing the soap and throwing it away (probably fell in the water) but there were still parts of the soap stuck in her teeth that she tries to dig out with now her other hand in her mouth. But her other hand is soapy as well.

"REEEE"

To Konran's dismay, she completely forgot how slippery smooth surfaces are in the water... She unfortunately slips, hits the back of her knees against the edge of the tub, and folds as the rest of her body falls on the ground with a THUD.

Water splashes as she lies on the cold stone floor, the unpleasant cold air in contrast to the comfort of hot water washes over her. The splashes have also soaked the towels and thrown flower petals all around her, and for a moment there, as lightning strikes outside the window, it casts a dramatic shadow against her, the picture akin to a painting of a graceful water maiden. Or maybe a feral swamp creature, the soap has started to bubble in her mouth after all.

"uuuuuuuuu......"

She slowly slides her legs off from where they were still stuck on the side of the tub and rolls on her side, curling up in a ball as she succumbs to the bitterness and gives up. Just laying there in defeat...

Clematia heard the thud as it echoed in the big bathroom when she was approaching with the robes, she picks up her pace and knocks at the door.

"Konran?? Konran is everything alright?"

"waaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAA I'm okay!!"

She jumps to her feet and walks up to the door, opening it very slightly, but the cold air seeps in nonetheless.

"ARE YOU SURE???!!"

"Deefinitely!!! My bones are pretty strong!!"

She slides her arm through the crack in the door and starts flailing it around for the robes, her hand wet and spraying some water around.

"Ermm..... alriiight, do you need anything else?"

"uuuuuuuh ummmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm nope!!"

She grabs the robes and slithers her arm right back in, closing the door again.

"Thanks!!"

"OKAAAY DON'T CATCH A COLD!!"

“Yipyip!!”

She puts the robes aside, spits out some extra bitterness into the sink, then gets back to the tub. Gosh there's water everywhere! How fun!!

Konran has the best of her life in the bath, the end~

When Yohei came to prepare the bath for Cyrus, he almost slipped on a puddle of water, it’s as if it rained inside instead of outside.... and his prosthetic is getting slippery, he'll have to scratch it a bit before they leave, he has so much stuff to do tonight....

Siiiigh.

Why did she leave such a mess...?? How clumsy-No no no, he should know better than to judge people so fast, maybe something startled her? Doesn't matter.. he makes quick work of swiping the floor and changing the water in the tub, Betty had thrown in some flowers for her, how sweet <3 His thoughts are interrupted when he notes the soap. THAT soap. There is a bite mark on it??? He stills as the gears in his head turn and he explodes into a fit of laughter.

"THAT'S SO DUUUMB AHAHAHAHAHA!!"
