COMMANDER CHAOS

NO CHARM WITHOUT HARM

NO CHARM WITHOUT HARM

Apr 26, 2025

They move together down the stone steps, her heels tapping a steady rhythm that clashes wonderfully against the soft scuff of combat boots beside her.

As they near the parking lot, headlights flash.

MIN-JUN sits in the driver’s seat of a black SUV, tension radiating from his rigid posture.

DO-YUN leans coolly against the vehicle, arms crossed like he’s just been watching the night unfold with detached interest.

HA-JOON paces nearby, stretching out his legs from too many hours on standby.

But when he spots her, he freezes mid-stretch, arms dangling, mouth hanging open.

“Wooow,” HA-JOON whispers, not even trying to hide it. “Now I understand why uniforms exist. It’s not just about professionalism, it's... wow.”

MIN-JUN leans halfway out the car window, eyes locked on A-RA as she strides toward them in her flowing crimson gown.

“I really hope she does that awkward stumble-run thing,” he murmurs, grin spreading wide. “You know, the one where everyone pretends not to notice...but I will be front and center ready to greet her with 'so how was your impromptu interpretive dance performance?.”

DO-YUN chuckles, arms still folded as if he's bracing himself for whatever chaos is about to ensue.

A-RA reaches the vehicle, regal as ever, heels clicking like punctuation on concrete.

MIN-JUN doesn't skip a beat.

“Took your sweet little time, didn’t you?”

She tilts her head with theatrical grace.

“Wait, you mean none of you noticed?” she asks, mock surprise in her tone. “..I was purposefully walking slow to give the dress its glory—...hmmm, I should definitely work on my Slo-mo strut."

MIN-JUN raises a brow. “Disappointed none of us complimented you?”

“Oh, you all complimented me just fine,” she shoots back, smirking. “Especially you with the laser beam intense gaze, are you sure you didn't accidentally pierce a hole in my dress with your eyes?...because suddenly am feeling a draft and am pretty sure its not he AC..”

MIN-JUN snorts. “Please. I was watching to see if you'd face-plant into the pavement. That would’ve made my week.”

“Mmhmm,” A-RA hums, unbothered, sliding into the seat in the back joining YU-JUN and HA-JOON.

“That over-explanation is not helping your case. It's okay, Min-jun. You and the dress had a moment. But let’s refocus—the mission isn’t going to complete itself.”

MIN-JUN lets out a resigned sigh, revs the engine. They drive off, heading to the urgent job at hand.

The car zooms down the road, the headlights cutting through the dark night.

The team steps out onto the sleek rooftop helipad. The city sprawls behind them in a constellation of lights.

YU-JUN, DO-YUN, HA-JOON, and MIN-JUN move in sync—checking gear, scanning the perimeter, eyes sharp and movements crisp. They work like a well-oiled machine, their quiet coordination speaking volumes.

A-RA stands calmly beside the idling chopper, the wind tousling the hem of her gown-turned-uniform. She looks like she belongs there—statuesque, alert, and utterly unfazed.

From the adjacent rooftop access, the CLIENT emerges—sharp suit, phone in hand, attention glued to the glowing screen. He walks briskly, oblivious, until the team finally registers in his periphery.

He looks up.

His gaze lands on A-RA.

He freezes.

“Wow…” he says, blinking, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. “I didn’t know Wolf Agencies hired pretty women like this.”

A-RA raises a brow but doesn’t spare him a glance. She scoffs, loud enough for everyone to hear, and steps into the helicopter like he’s invisible.

The CLIENT, caught off guard, fumbles with his tie and stumbles toward the chopper, cheeks burning. He slides into the seat beside her, looking entirely too thrilled.

Inside, A-RA stares straight ahead, professional and unreadable. The CLIENT sneaks glances, unable to help himself, clearly not accustomed to sharing space with someone so composed—and so dangerous.

The helicopter lifts into the night sky, leaving the neon-lit rooftop behind.

MEETING DESTINATION – MOMENTS LATER

The rotors slow. The skids hit the ground.

A-RA steps out first, heels clicking against the pavement with unflinching purpose. The CLIENT hurries to keep up.

She leads him through the quiet corridors to the meeting room, her stride unwavering.

No small talk. No smiles.

Just business.

The boys are already stationed outside, eyes scanning the perimeter with quiet intensity.

Inside, the CLIENT is far less focused. His attention keeps drifting—not to the confidential documents or the security brief—but to A-RA’s silhouette as she leads him toward the meeting table.

His hand starts to rise, reaching for the small of her back.

A-RA catches it without even turning.

Her voice is tight, laced with a calm warning and a smile that doesn’t reach her eyes.

“Unless you're planning to start a new career as a pirate” she says, teeth clenched, “that hand better not land on my back. Not even by accident.”

The CLIENT freezes. His fingers hover mid-air for a second longer before he yanks them back like they’ve been burned.

A-RA straightens her spine, unbothered

And that slit you are so fixated on...?” she adds, voice now a silky whisper.

The CLIENT’s gaze instinctively flicks down toward the thigh-high slit of her gown.

She smiles. Cold. Controlled.

“it's not a fashion statement-its a strategic feature.” Her tone hardens. “There’s a gun holster on my thigh... you know, in case I need to reach for my gun faster."

He jerks his head back up so quickly he nearly knocks over a chair.

A-RA steps closer, her expression unreadable.

“Take a good look at my hairpin.”

The CLIENT’s brows pinch in confusion as he glances at the sleek ornament tucked into her hair.

A-RA grins now, teeth on full display.

“The cutest dagger. you've ever seen huh?”

A short, sharp breath escapes the CLIENT. His eyes go wide. He stumbles a step back, but A-RA leans in just slightly—close enough for her words to wrap around his spine like ice.

“We run a security firm,” she says, her voice suddenly lethal, “not an escort service.”

“One wrong move, and you might leave here in parts.” She gives him a beat to absorb that, then adds with mock sincerity, “I heard you can transplant pretty much any body part these days... Even arms.”

She tilts her head, her smile chilling.

“Don’t you think a soldier who lost his arm for his country deserves one more than some creep trying to grope a woman he met twenty minutes ago?”

The CLIENT blinks. Hard. Sweat beads at his temple.

He practically sprints to the meeting table, plopping into the chair with his dignity left somewhere on the floor. He avoids A-RA’s eyes completely now.

A-RA strolls to the bar with an air of casual grace, pouring herself a glass of sparkling water as she surveys the room, all poise and danger wrapped in crimson.

The meeting wraps.

The CLIENT barely mutters a goodbye, practically tripping over his own shoes as he rushes off like a man who’s seen the devil in heels.

Outside, the team regroups near the helicopter. Night winds whip across the rooftop, sending A-RA’s crimson dress fluttering like a warning flag in a battlefield. She stands rooted, unbothered, the picture of elegance... and quiet threat.

HA-JOON eyes the way the fabric moves.

He leans toward YU-JUN and MIN-JUN, whispering under his breath.

“Why is she so calm? What if we, uh… accidentally see what’s underneath?”

Before anyone can answer, A-RA—still facing forward, voice calm like the eye of a storm—speaks.

“I can hear you.”
A pause.
“And what’s beneath is very dangerous.”

The boys cough awkwardly, stepping back just half an inch in silent respect (and mild fear).

Suddenly, laughter echoes across the helipad.

A group of tipsy men stumbles into view, eyes locked on A-RA’s slit like it’s some kind of treasure map. One of them, barely able to stand, grins like an idiot.

DRUNK MAN 1 slurring
“Hey there, lovely… Why you gotta make me so curious?”

A-RA tilts her head, amused.

“Are you curious?”

The men nod eagerly, falling over themselves with sleazy smirks.

Her smile widens. There’s a glint in her eye now—something mischievous... something deadly.

“Alright then,” she purrs.
“Come closer.”

They take a few drunken steps forward.

YU-JUN stiffens. His eyes go wide as he starts pacing toward her to stop whatever’s about to happen.

“This woman’s insane,” he mutters.

Before YU-JUN can intervene, A-RA instantly flips her slit upwards and the boys, as if by reflex, immediately avert their eyes. YU-JUN almost trips over his own feet

The drunk men freeze in place, confusion quickly morphing into panic. Because tucked against her thigh is no innocent reveal—but a sleek, matte-black pistol pointed straight at their regret.

MIN-JUN,The only one who didn’t turn away when the slit flipped, lets out a small, impressed chuckle.

“Ah... that’s what she meant by dangerous beneath.”

DO-YUN, curiosity piqued, starts to turn back.

“What are you talking about?”

MIN-JUN nodding toward A-RA
“Just look.”

DO-YUN and HA-JOON cautiously glance over their shoulders.

They exhale in relief as they see A-RA calmly sliding the pistol back into its thigh holster like nothing ever happened.

Meanwhile, the drunk men scramble away, terrorstricken. A-RA just smiles with satisfaction.

“Curiosity really can kill."she mutters as she shakes her head.

The CLIENT having finalized his goodbyes, approaches the helicopter like it might bite.

He’s stiff, awkward—visibly rattled from his last encounter with A-RA. One glance at her calm, unreadable face is all it takes. He gulps and scrambles up the steps, avoiding eye contact.

Once inside, he makes a beeline for the backseat—far, far away from the cockpit. No way he’s sitting up front.

A-RA slides into the pilot’s seat, unbothered as ever. DO-YUN takes his place beside her, strapping in as she flips switches like she’s done this a thousand times.

The rotors spin. The city blurs beneath them.

Smooth takeoff. No turbulence. But the CLIENT’s leg still bounces like he’s five seconds from a panic attack.

They land on the rooftop of his building.

Before the skids even kiss concrete, the CLIENT bolts—hopping out like the helicopter’s about to explode. He sprints toward the entrance without so much as a goodbye, a nod, or a backward glance.

A-RA watches him go, lips curling into a smug little grin.

Later, the team is cruising through the city in their black SUV, the neon lights of downtown flickering across their windows like slow-moving fireworks.

MIN-JUN still processing goes,
“Okay, but what did you do to that guy? Dude practically tried to skydive off the chopper before we landed.”

A-RA without missing a beat responds
“MIN-JUN, you ever had a stomach emergency so bad you’d trade your soul for a toilet?”

A pause.

“Maybe that’s what he had. Just a humble theory.”

She turns to him slightly, eyes glinting.

“Also, have you ever considered coaching?”

MIN-JUN confused
“Coaching?”

A-RA deadpan
“Yeah. Pole vaulting. Because the way you leap to conclusions? Olympic-level form.”

DO-YUN stifles a laugh. HA-JOON looks out the window, hiding a grin.

MIN-JUN just scoffs, arms crossed, muttering something about slander and HR departments.

The car speeds on through the night, slicing through the city like a blade.
