‘Are you guys okay?’ The person shouted

‘Who are you?’ Raiden asked, squinting his eyes staring at the fog in front of them. He could only see a silhouette of whoever was asking them this.

As the person approached closer the silhouette became bigger and more of them appeared in the background. The fog faded away and Ace and Raiden stared in awe at who had come to find them.

The Eight Divine Wonders.

‘So… you’re Ace. We didn’t really get time to meet or talk to you in the palace. I think we got off on the wrong foot. My name is Sheipu I’m the god of shapeshifting. Me and my friends are, who you would have learnt as, the eight divine wonders, and this may come as a shock to both of you but after seeing yours and Raiden’s performance against that demon king, we have reason to believe that you’re one of us two. Both of you.’

According to legend, there were supposed to be ten divine wonders to fight against the demons in the fated war. However, after the eight divine wonders were born in the same year, and displayed great skill from an early age, people started to wonder that if there are supposed to be two more great gods, then why would there only be eight till now. Until the prophecy was revised. People had speculated that the legends that the people of Kamïe were believing in were read in the wrong way. These legends were written in the Kamihon, a book written by Percival the “First God”. As time went on the book had been changed and re-written, that was until the god of archeology, Kōko, found an actual copy written by Percival himself. In this, it stated that Eight divine wonders would be born together but by the time the other two gods would come along, they would be adults. Meaning that the last two great gods were supposed to have been children.

‘Wait..’ Said Ace ‘So all that about breaking some power meter was true?’

‘If I say yes, are you gonna believe it?’ Replied Raiden smugly

‘Well, I got proof for all the other nonsense you told me. What’s next? I’m a transformer who becomes a dragon?’ Says Ace laughing

‘Ya never know.’ Said Sheipu. ‘Anyways. I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me introduce everyone else. There’s me, god of shapeshifting, Kōri, god of water and controller of all its states, Riki, god of mechanics, this guy can create machines out of nothing. There’s also Ono, god of weaponry, he wears a blind fold. It helps him focus, somehow. Ōra’s the god of something, I don’t really know what he’s the “god of” so to speak, but he basically creates aura based objects out of thin air so… There’s Tere and Tera. Tere, he can read people’s minds and Tera, she can move things with her mind. And last but definitely not least, there’s Pō, he’s the god of teleportation.’

‘Wait… so, you tracked us all the way here?’ Asks Ace

‘Yeah, and we saw your fight with the Demon King before you ended up here.’ Said Kōri in a deep and slightly soothing voice.

‘It seems that when you get in that exited state, you somehow transform into your god alter-ego.’ Said Riki.

‘Yeah, that’s what Raiden told me.’ Said Ace.

‘Anyways, we need to prepare, and we need to do it quick.’ Says Sheipu

‘Prepare for what?’ Said Raiden.

‘War.’

Just when they were about to leave, from the nearby forest they heard some screams, the gods decided to go and investigate.
