Ayami
The whole day was boring without Kayda. I sat on my room and spent it scrolling through my phone.
‘Attack From The Malachite’s Have Increased In The Past Week’ The news video headline said.
“Over the past week the attack from the creatures have increased dramatically.” The reported spoke
“Even though magical defence teams have managed to arrive at the spots on time, many were injured on the attack yesterday. The defence team captain, was rushed to the hospitals, his vitals remain normal as he continues to be in a coma state due to overstraining himself with his powers.
The situation has seemingly worsened yesterday, as multiple attacks on major cities around Celestia, has resulted in injuries to more than 10,000 people. The attacks aren’t just upon Celestia, other nations have also reported a widespread attack on their major cities.
“The magic council has released a list of cities and urged people to move from these quote, ‘high risk’ places immediately to prevent further damages to life.
The people are starting to question the magic council who is yet to address the situation properly and give a reason for the increasing attacks.”
Did the attacks increase because of the ritual yesterday? Did they feel the energy of the celestial soul?
The moon light shone in my room in the dark as I got out of my bath. I didn’t even realise the time going by.
I went downstairs for dinner. No one except me and one of the maids was present there.
“Did grandma and mom eat dinner?” I asked her
“No miss” she said as she excused herself from the room before I could ask anything else.
I haven’t seen either of them the whole day, where are they?
The maids in the house have reduced too, I have seen only three of them barely around the house. I haven’t seen Dan or Elena either. Half the men that came to guard yesterday has gone back but the other half are still placed at different parts of the estate.
Is it because of the increasing attacks they have increased the security in the estate?
Something is definitely not right.
I finished the dinner and went back to my room to prepare for tomorrows class.
*
“Miss Ayami. Wake up, its time for class” I woke up to the knocking at my door.
“Thanks, I am awake”
I looked at the clock 6:00 am.
The classes start at 8.
“I wish I could go back home” I sighed
I didn’t see neither mom or grandma when I got into my car. I haven’t seen mother since yesterday morning, its starting to worry me.
We drove for 2 hours before we reached the university and I slept all the way there.
“Ayami!!!!!!” Emily yelled and waved at me in front of the gate as I got out of the car.
I filled her with everything that happened over the weekend except the ritual and library part. She is definitely gonna be telling me to repeat the story over 1000 times throughout the day, the confusion is etched onto her face.
“Is Kayda not coming today?” Emily asked me as we sat down after greeting the professor.
“I don’t know, maybe she is tired.” I said
