"You have to wear something casual- not a damn suit-"
Niko simply looked at the man. He rolled his eyes but muttered "fine whatever" Mick got so excited Niko swore the man turned into an exciteable dog for a hot moment.
"You get very excited alot-"
"I enjoy kissing attractive men what can I say" Mick winked
Niko rolled his eyes but secretly he smiled to himself. The two walked out of the room together and were greeted by some of Niko's men.
"Is everyone ready?"
"Yes boss. We have the location, the vechile, and an escape plan if needed."
"Good."
Mick followed behind Niko as the two followed Niko's men to the car. Mick was somewhat excited. It was like one of those secret missions he used to see in the cartoons he would watch as a kid. Niko didn't even look thrilled but Mick knew it was probably because this was business. Once everyone was in the car one of the men turned on the radio- which was tuned into the police radio.
"Just the usual it seems." The man who turned on the radio said
"Good." Niko crossed his arms "No cops is better."
"Uh- why?"
"Don't want them in our business Mick." Niko muttered "Mafia plays by its own rules. We want to kill someone? We do it. We want to take someone prisoner? We do it. No court no trial no nothing. Got it?"
Serious voice.
Mick quickly nodded. Damn.
Mick glanced around as the car was parked in some parking garage. This was no where near the club what the fuck was going on?
"Uh- N- I mean boss-" Mick cleared his throat "Why are we- yah know parked so far away?"
"Obviously because we dont want to just drive up to a club and all waltz out looking like we're going to go on a murder spree" Niko pointed to his men who had all managed to change into more club appropiate attire
"Oh- I mean-"
"Darling are you going to keep up? Because I can not keep explaining everything to you."
Mick stared
"I-"
"Good."
Mick stood there for a moment. Oh he loved serious Niko. He quickly followed behind the man and his men as they all walked down the alley and towards the club. Mick had been to many clubs before due to his... profession. Plus that always seemed to be where people who wanted nothing but money seemed to appear. This club looked- incredible. It was also quite livley. So many people were dancing, drinking, laughing- among other things-
Mick was in awe
"Damn... this place is... incredible-"
"Fan out. Don't do anything suspicious. Blend in." Niko told his men who all nodded and dispersed. "Come on dumbass you're staying with me"
"Why- so no cute guy or girl at the club can whisk me away?" Mick teased
"No because you're new and I don't trust you to not slip up"
"You could have just played along" Mick muttered
"Fine sorry-" Niko crossed his arms before speaking sarcastically "No ones allowed to look at you"
"Wow."
"I know it was a great right?"
"No it was terrible."
Niko just smirked and waltzed himself over to the bar. Mick followed chuckling to himself. The two men leaned against the bar- drinks in hand- people watching.
"So... who do you think could have been in contact with Angelica?" Mick asked breaking the silence
"Hard to say. Anyone here could be the person who was in contact with her." Niko stared around the club watching a drug dealing in the corner "We can't rule out anyone. Even the workers..."
Mick supposed that made sense. Anyone could have been in contact with her... but how the hell we're they going to find anyone. One of the men, Andrew circled towards Niko and Mick.
"Boss- we've scouted around and talked to some of the people. We have our eyes set on one guy whose acting rather odd... we're hoping to buy him a couple drinks to see if he'll get drunk and spill something"
"Good." Niko muttered "But remember Andrew, just because he's suspicious-"
"Doesn't mean he's our guy. Correct as always sir." Andrew nodded "Once we rule him out if he isn't our guy we'll keep looking"
"Good."
Andrew went right back to mingling with everyone. It was then that Niko's eyes suddenly narrowed.
"What- what is it?"
"Those two."
Mick glanced over- staring in the direction Niko was looking. There stood two men. One in a white shirt, black jacket, and black pants- and the other- was just in some black ripped jeans, and a black t-shirt with some gloves on. Mick continued to study the people noticing- the one with gloves dyed hair. Pink and purple... and the other mans hair was just straight black.
"You think it could be them?" Mick whispered "To me they just look like- their on a date"
"It could be. I just have a hunch." Niko muttered "Plus some guy that looked like a guard... walked in behind them..."
Mick hadn't noticed that. He did avert his gaze back to his drink when the two men approuched the bar and also got some drinks. Mick glanced back at the pair again that caused the man with the dark hair to speak.
"Keep staring and I might think your into me."
"Sorry- I-" Mick paused shit- what was he supposed to say? "I uh- just like your outfit is all-"
Well that was a stupid response- luckily the response he got in return was a simple
"Thanks."
There was complete silence for a moment... before finally... Niko spoke up.
"To bad our friend A couldn't make it huh." Niko looked at Mick as if to say "Play along"
"Yeah. She's always a real hoot at partys or clubs or whatever."
"I'll say. She said she would show up but... noooo- left us high and dry"
"You're friend was supposed to show up?" the man with the dyed hair asked he sounded quite shy
"Yeah. But she didn't. So lame am I right?" Mick looked at the man
"I'll say."
"And she loves to dance so like- she should have showed up." Niko muttered
"Dancing?" The black haired man finally spoke once more "I do love a good dance."
"So do I." Mick raised his glass "Cheers to that."
"Care to go on the floor with me then?"
Mick simply nodded. Maybe he could find out more information this way.
But as Mick walked away... he didn't notice Niko's gaze turn quite sour. Nor did he notice two more guards beginning to move towards him as he walked with the black haired man.
