DO-YUN hiding a laugh, pretending to be solemn
goes,
"Yeah... you realize she’s testing you, right?
She’s positive you’ll quit."
YU-JUN responds flatly.
"She’s right. I have quit. Not now—
I quit yesterday.
Honestly, I deserve a full standing ovation for surviving this circus as
long as I have."
YU-JUN slouches deeper into his chair, looking like a man who’s seen unspeakable things.
DO-YUN grinning, shaking his head continues,
"Nah, man. You have to go on another date.
She pulled this just to mess with your head. We can't back down now."
YU-JUN
(throwing his hands in the air)
"We?! What we?! There is no we!
There is only me, alone, on the battlefield!"
HA-JOON
(grinning, attempting to sound inspiring)
Man, you’ve survived literal wars more than anyone in this room... you’ll
survive this.
The boys nod sagely like they’re discussing military strategy.
MIN-JUN
(fighting back laughter)
"Yeah, man... just, uh... just plan the date next time.
Avoid the amb—"
(snorting, breaking down)
"—ush."
DO-YUN leans forward and goes,
"No, no, think about it seriously.
She’s 100% convinced you’ll bail."
(excited)
"Imagine actually showing up today.
You knock on her door looking like a discount James Bond—
holding a single plastic daisy you picked from the lobby."
(grinning wide)
" ...she'll be so thrown off balance."
YU-JUN with a full blown glare goes,
"You know what would really throw her off?"
(gesturing wildly)
"If you, DO-YUN, showed up
instead.
Or honestly, any of you clowns!"
(ripping off his headset)
"I’M NOT GOING ON ANY OTHER DATE!"
Without another word, YU-JUN jams his
headphones back on, turns to his computer, and furiously pretends to work—
determined to block out the relentless cackling echoing around him.
Suddenly—
Four pairs of eyes widen in perfect, horrifying sync as the unmistakable tap...
tap... tap... of A-RA’s stilettos cuts through the room like the march
of doom.
Instantly, the boys snap to attention—backs ramrod straight, faces locked into military-grade neutral.
HA-JOON nearly spills his coffee trying to act natural.
MIN-JUN stares intensely at a blank sheet of paper, nodding like it holds the nuclear codes.
A-RA says nothing.
She simply glides forward, sets a folder down on the table with the kind of
precise, ominous grace that screams:
I heard everything.
A-RA
(cool and unbothered)
"Your next assignment. Wheels up in an hour."
She tilts her head slightly, eyes gleaming with silent amusement as the boys sweat in silence.
Then—leaning in just a hair, voice silky-sweet:
"Oh, and I realized...I’ve been so busy
bossing you around, I forgot the sacred law of management—
Bribery works."
flashing a smileshe continues,
"So today, as a completely planned act of kindness—
no manipulation here—
I’m buying lunch."
(pauses, letting it sink in)
"Attendance is mandatory.
Enthusiasm...strongly encouraged.
Menu: noodles, sausages... and a milkshake for dessert."
A barely contained snort escapes HA-JOON.
DO-YUN leans forward, voice dry as dust: "Is this generosity... or a hostage situation?"
A-RA
"Okay, fine, you caught me—but calling
it a ‘hostage situation’ was a tad
dramatic...besides
Four of you. One of me."
(teasing)
"You’ve got numbers.
All I have... is a company card with a questionable spending
limit."
DO-YUN responds.
" We would like to decline the generosity either way, lunch with the
boss" is just corporate hunger games where: Awkward silence with a side of
forced laughter.
And they say things like SPEAK FREELY? Please. We all know that’s a trap:."
(mimicking a fake manager voice)
"Be honest!’ — Translation: ‘Tell me I'm amazing or perish.’
'No wrong answers!’ — Translation: ‘I will use those answers against
you in future.’
'We’re like family!’ — Translation: ‘Dysfunctional, and three therapy
sessions behind.’"
The others nod, deadly serious.
A-RA
(chuckling, mildly impressed)
"I see you’re smarter than you look. we both
dogged a bullet on this lunch...No pretending to care about your “weekend
plans” (we all know you just cried and watched Netflix). No awkwardly laughing
at my jokes (which, admit it, are kind of fire).plus I get to enjoy five
people's worth of lunch on my own...so if management asks, yes
this lunch happened and it really
boosted your Morales."
She flashes a wicked little smirk and sweeps out, the office door swinging shut behind her.
A beat of stunned silence—then:
HA-JOON grins at YU-JUNand goes
"You must be relieved...
Lunch would've been painfully awkward.
The date you promised?"
(mock shudder)
"Even worse."
MIN-JUN
(smirking mischievously)
"Still though... all this talk made me crave sausages and noodles.
We’ll grab milkshakes on the way back."
YU-JUN stares straight ahead, headphones on, completely ignoring them, laser-focused on his screen.
Meanwhile,
DO-YUN and HA-JOON exchange devilish smiles—as they gearup for the mission.
A new week
a new opportunity for chaos.
A-RA strolls into the office, humming a cheerful tune with her usual milkshake in hand. Her smile is a bright beam, and she greets everyone she passes like she’s the sun itself.
She waits by the elevator, still humming when BAEK-HYUN steps in from the hallway, eyeing her suspiciously.
"Knowing you," he says, voice flat, "either someone’s day has already been ruined, or someone’s about to seriously regret leaving their house."
A-RA just flashes an even bigger smile, the picture of
innocence.
"I’m a good person, you know?"
BAEK-HYUN snorts.
"A person, sure..."
The elevator dings. The doors slide open, and a few people shuffle aside to make space. A-RA and BAEK-HYUN step in together.
As they exit on their floor, BAEK-HYUN throws her a look — the kind that says he’s already mentally preparing for damage control.
"Don’t kill anyone today," he mutters. "I hate paperwork."
A-RA grins over her shoulder, mischievous.
"I’ll try."
They split off in opposite directions.
After a quick outfit change, A-RA strides into the training
room, now fully geared up.
The teams are already there, waiting. Watching. Maybe a little nervous.
She walks in like she’s about to deliver a TED Talk.
"Good morning, everyone!" she chirps. "Today, we’re doing something fun! First up: martial arts training! Pair up!"
For a second, no one moves.
Then, pairs start forming across the room — all except YU-JUN, who stands alone
like the final boss in a video game nobody wants to fight.
A-RA glances over at DO-YUN.
"Why doesn’t YU-JUN have a partner?" she asks, amused.
DO-YUN shrugs, casual like it’s common knowledge.
"He’s ruthless. Even in training. No one wants to deal with that. Why
don’t you give it a shot?"
A-RA’s eyes sparkle with excitement.
"Alright, YU-JUN. Looks like you’re stuck with me."
Murmurs ripple through the room as the two face off.
Everyone's practically leaning in, ready for a show.YU-JUN stands there, unfazed, arms crossed as A-RA sizes him
up.
"You sure about this?" he asks. "Everyone else ran for a reason. Just because you’re my boss doesn’t mean I’m going easy on you."
A-RA smiles sweetly,
"Go easy on me, alright?"
Then — they move.
A blur of strikes, dodges, and counters.
Their movements are sharp, almost too polished, like two dancers locked
in an intense, dangerous waltz.
And then, in one sudden, fluid sweep—
A-RA flips YU-JUN off his feet and slams him onto the mat.
The room collectively flinches.
HA-JOON physically jerks backward. DO-YUN’s eyes widen like dinner plates.
DO-YUN leans in, whispering to MIN-JUN, low and urgent.
"I think BAEK-HYUN actually recruited a competent one this time.We seriously need to find out who she really is."
MIN-JUN nods nervously, watching A-RA pin YU-JUN like it's
nothing.Winces as he responds
"We should’ve listened to BAEK-HYUN... and kept a low profile like the other teams."
Meanwhile, A-RA straddles YU-JUN, holding him effortlessly
in place as he struggles beneath her.
She looks down at him with a playful, wicked smirk — like this is just the
beginning.
A-RA leans in closer, breathing a little heavier now, but
still grinning like she’s won the lottery.
"Now that we’re dating," she teases, "just so you know... I like
to be on top."
YU-JUN freezes.
Completely, utterly freezes.
His face flushes as he tries — and fails — to push her off.
A-RA tightens the hold, pinching him more firmly in place.
YU-JUN winces, squirming under her with a grunt.
"Wait—! Don’t move!" he gasps, pained. "I think I
broke something."
Concern flickers across A-RA’s face. She glances
down—
Right at his crotch.
Her eyes widen slightly.
"Broke what? Oh... wait a minute..."
YU-JUN grits his teeth, frustration pouring off him.
"Really?!"
A-RA finally rolls off him, sitting back on her heels.
"What do you mean really?" she says, genuinely curious. "If you broke your arm or leg, you’d say, 'I think I broke my arm or leg.' But this ‘something’ you can't even mention?"
She tilts her head innocently.
"Can it even break like that?"
YU-JUN grumbles incoherently, finally wriggling free and limping away like a wounded soldier.
DO-YUN shouts from across the room,half-panicked—
"Medic!"
An OFFICER steps in — a massive, bouncer-type guy who looks
like he moonlights throwing drunks out of bars.
He points straight at A-RA.
DO-YUN gapes in disbelief.
"Seriously?!"
The OFFICER shrugs, dead serious.
"You all know she’s a trained combat medic, right? Anyone who gets hurt
today... she’s the one patching you up."
HA-JOON lets out a nervous laugh, voice thin with panic.
"We’re so screwed."
