At afternoon
April was looking after the files when he felt a cold sensation on his cheeks .... He looked up and saw Niran holding a glass of juice and food bags
April asked “ what are you doing “
Niran smiled widely at him “ pursuing the person I love... I even brought food for you”
Niran sat beside April and handed him the juice
April raised his eyebrows and snapped “ get lost “
Niran pleaded “ I'll feed you first “
Niran took a spoonful of rice and dipped in curry... He stretched it towards April and smiled
April hit his hand making it fall down... Niran looked at him and smiled ...“ I've another spoon...”
He took out another spoon and repeated the process... April hit it again... And this time Niran held it tightly “ see I'm strong “He laughed
April got up from his seat “ I'm leaving then “
Niran got up and clasped his hands
“please don't take your anger in food... Eat this... I'm leaving but please don't starve yourself.... I'm sorry “
April barked “ get lost.... I don't want you near me”
Niran looked at April with sad eyes and went away.... After Niran went away April quickly took the food and started munching on it
“ emmm.. emm... Pork balls... Tasty ....”
Niran his behind the door and looked at April happily eating his food ... He smiled at took a picture of him
“ I'll win you baby “
For the whole day Niran did small gestures for April... And took care of him.... He even write reports on behalf of April.. he brought him snacks... And occasionally he would peep at April working and took pictures of him and smiled to himself
At evening
Niran was buying strawberry for April at a shop
“ strawberries... April love these... I'm sure he'll have it as desert... “
But someone called him . “ excuse me sir... Can you tell me the way to station I'm kinda lost
Niran nodes “ sure “
He looked at the person and gritted his teeth.... It was the same boy who was hugging April ...the boy looked younger than April....but he was good looking ....He scoffed thinking what does April like about him
“ actually my map is not working sir... “ The boy said fixing his bangs
Niran glare at him before saying “ turn left from here and then go 5 km straight..... Then move towards North and 10km and you'll reach station “
Shopkeeper glare at Niran
Niran spat “do your work...”
The boy thanked him “ thank you sir “
He went away....Niran smirked at him and took the strawberries with him
“ how dare he comes behind April... shameless... go on bastard ..... You'll surely end up in a jungle .... Have fun with wild animals “
He laughed at the thought and went away
At night
As their shifts were going to over all of them were ready to go home ... But April was waiting for someone... Niran frowned thinking about that boy and went towards April but that boy appeared in the meantime with Drake
April asked “ who gave you that address... You should have called me “
The boy cried “ I'm lost.... My cell was not working .... Sir helped me”
Drake answered “ I saw this guy heading towards jungle alone..... So I asked him where he was going and he told me a mf told him wrong directions so I brought him here ..... Do you know each other “
Niran wanted to really kill Drake at the moment .... But first let me deal with this guy..
April nodes “ yes we know each other.... He's my younger brother ... I love him more than anything “
Niran froze at his place...he felt blood leaving his body
Leh smiled and hugged his brother “ and I love my brother the most”
He hugged April and April hugged him back
Drake smiled “ oh you're April’s brother? What brings you here ?”
Leh chirped“ I'm studying Physics major in University I'm staying in the hostel.... But I want to spend some time with my brother... So I came here early.... But I couldn't because of a basta-“
April smack his head
April scolded him “ language kid....”
Leh pouted at April and hugged him“ come let's go to a cafe... I'm hungry “
Drake and Leh nodded and followed him .... They went to an open cafe and settled themselves... giving the orders.....Niran sneakily followed them and sat on a nearby table and ordered a drink
Leh started talking nonstop “ you know sir we're not related by blood.... But brother took care of me as his own brother.... He paid my fees ... Lodging .. clothes... He loved me ... ..he made sure I never slept with a hungry stomach.... he worked night shifts for me ...he never let me work...He never made me feel that I'm an orphan... I'm so grateful to have him in my life.... Brother is the best...”
Niran heard all these hiding and looking at April apologetically...now Leh too... He thought to himself... Keeping aside everything wife's brother is the most important person in the world
April laughed “ come-on brat.... You're my only family... Even you earned scholarship so I don't have to work more .... You never caused me problems except some “
Leh smiled at April and continued
April said “ you know Drake this guy was once grounded by me for 4 weeks as punishment “
Drake looked at Leh and laughed
Leh cuts him off “ ... Tell him whole story first “
He looked at Drake and continued
Leh continued “ When we were younger Brother went to college... There were many evil boys bullying him... He would often come home with bruises and marks... Whenever I ask him he would just smile so when I came to know of this I tricked them and lock inside a room with no windows and exit ways and left all types of rodents and reptiles “
Leh laughed only earning a glare from April... Niran thought of turning back time only to punish the bullies whom he couldn't at that time
Leh added “ after that I was grounded by him .... But no one dare to bully him again”
Drake laughed “ you're really a protective brother... I must say “ he was staring at Leh more frequently
“ I'm sir.... If anyone dares to bully my brother now ... I won't hesitate to hurt him “
Niran licked his lips... Both the brothers are super protective of each other he thought to himself
Leh asked “ by the way are you single? “
Drake laughed at Leh 's boldness and April smack his head
Leh pouted ,” Brother I'm asking for you ... I want to find a rich and handsome partner for you “
Niran whispered “ I'm here kid... Your brother 's rich and handsome partner “
Leh talked again “ but now I want to find a guy who would take care of my brother ... Treat him like a prince.... Support him in and take my brother out of the darkness... Someone who would always be there for him .... My brother is so soft...”
April’s eyes turn wet hearing this.. he hugged his brother and smiled .. Drake cheered them up cracking a joke... Niran looked at them and thought it would be nice if he wouldn't have turn jealous and hurt April and Leh ... Suddenly he felt someone's eyes on him
Niran spat “ you!!”
Leh walked towards Niran while Niran tried to hide behind the menu..” excuse me you're that guy right !!” he exclaimed but it was more like a question
Niran was startled “ which guy kid ?? I don't know you “
April and Drake came towards him
April asked “ Niran ... What are you doing here ?”
Drake told him ,’ you want to join you could have told
... Why are you sitting here”
Leh complained,” brother he's the one who told me wrong direction “
Niran defended himself “ it's not true ... I'm sorry I told you wrong direction “
But it was too late ... Niran got a death glare from April
Leh asked “ do you guys know him ?”
Drake agreed “ yes we’re colleagues”
April said “ no ... We're strangers “
Niran looked at April apologetically
April screamed “ how could you do this to a kid .. have you gone insane. ... I never thought you're this cruel.... “
Niran held April’s wrist “ I'm sorry April...”
Leh was ready to throw his hand on Niran“ hey ... How dare you hold my brother 's hand... Leave it .... I won't let a guy like you hold his hand “
Drake told him “ kid it's their personal matter let's leave them “
Leh cried ,” no I won't ... I can't leave my brother with this guy”
April turned towards Leh and hugged his brother ,” you've college right? You're April’s little brother right please go back to hostel.... I promise I'll take care of myself... “

April asked him softly “ please listen to your brother ... Please I'll take you to water park this weekend okay... Please go “
Drake put his hand around Leh 's shoulder

Leh was reluctant to leave April but he eventually agreed... And left April...
Niran cried ,” April!! Can we talk “
April took his bag and went away... Niran followed him...

April sat down at the pavement and cried... Niran sat beside him and hugged him

I'm a human being... I've feelings... Why does no one care about them
Everyone... Literally everyone hurt me... Including you
You didn't let me say anything and blocked me ... You didn't even gave me a chance....
Why do I keep getting punishment for mistake I didn't do.... Even if I did mistake I don't understand why doesn't people like you forget that and help me to move on... You keep scratching my pain... Everytime I try to get rid of them.. someone else scratch them.... I'm really tired trying to be strong and happy.... I'm tired of pretending I'm fine.... I'm not fine.. I'm hurt..
My heart bleeds... Everytime I'm accused of things I didn't do.. I don't think I can take this anymore
He cried hard and sobbed while Niran listen to him patiently
