Ronan picked up the note as it read:

"Sorry for the late notice grandson but unfortunately I forgot to go grab some necessary items for the house so I've decided to head into Ueno, I'll be gone until tomorrow. If you want any food there should be some candies or chocolates in the tin. I trust you'll keep the house in fine condition and stay safe...

-Grandma"

"Home alone at this time?" He sighed putting the note back down. "Well I'll go for a wash and go to bed, mainly because I was jumping into the bushes from a killer car" he scoffed, pissed off that this town was so dangerous.

He contemplated the idea of just running away however that just came with it's own set of risks and low rewards too. "As much as I want to, that seems way too risky and out of the question completely" he grumbled tapping his chin in thought.

He then heard a knock on the door, "Grandma? Back already?" He looked confused. "I mean who else would be roaming at this time of night" he added with a roll of his eyes.

As he opened the door he saw Nayu, with her entire skirt covered in dirt and mud covering half the face. She tilted her head to the side with a smile, "Hello Ronan-san can we have a talk?" She spoke with a friendly tone.

"Huh?! What the hell!" He slammed the door as he fell against it with an exasperated sigh as he slouched against the door, tired of this nightmare already. Nayu seemed to keep repeating the word "Ronan-san" with a cute voice but Ronan saw right through her farce.

He then opened the door again with mild annoyance. "I suggest you leave right now before I call the authorities!" He yelled as Nayu seemed shocked as seemed to nod in agreement almost apologetically? 

"Good" is all that Ronan responded with of course showing that he wasn't pleased with her intruding on him and pestering him along with that. However, as he went to close the door Nayu grabbed it leaving it unable to budge. 

Nayu is this strong? She could break the hinges with this strength! He thought to himself in fear as Nayu looked up to Ronan through the open side of the door. "Make sure you behave on the festival tee-hee" she smirked before turning and leaving.

Ronan looked on stunned and speechless as he shut the door slowly and plopping onto the couch with tiredness. But hey at least the festival was tomorrow? That was something to look forward to.

"Why couldn't I move to a normal place?" He sighed as he laid back on his couch looking up at the ceiling. "Maybe Kaiya will have some tips that'll help" he chuckled at the thought she was the only one he felt that he could trust.

Soon he fell asleep as his vision faded to black, as he drifted off he hoped that he wouldn't experience another nightmare...

The Sun soon shined through the window as he heard a familiar voice. As he felt a small but almost petite force pushing him? Like it was trying to get him to wake up. "Ugh... Chill who Is it?" He Yawned annoyingly before rubbing his eyes open.

He then noticed Kaiya was her signature smile as he had awoken, "Oh it's just you.... For some reason I'm almost happy seeing you" he didn't even realize what he was saying as Kaiya smiled happily.

"Me too! Hayu!" She cheered as Ronan smiled back for the first time almost enjoying her company? "But I'd rather sleep for another hour" He buried his head into a pillow with drowsiness.

"But Ronan-san! It's the festival today I wanted to show you the preparations before it starts" She wined like a little kid that just had their lollipop stolen.

"Ugh.. Fine but only because you're here" He sighed before standing up As Kaiya looked a little stunned. "You look like you just woke up from a hangover hahaha" She smiled As she then proceeded to hold his hand. "Don't worry though I'll lead you!~" She added with a firm nod...

Maybe going to the festival would clear his head and let him rest from this ongoing onslaught of nightmares and paranoia. Maybe this was his form of rest and recuperation finally?
