-Episode 2-
Seo Sunwoo rides the bus home.
As the bus rattled along, Sunwoo stared out the window, passing the cities.
"Why did i buy it?"
"What am I doing?"
"This isn't right"
"It's the best for me."
"Is this really the end?"
"You can get through it."
"It's tiring, let's end it all."
The questions overlapped, tangled, loud, and relentless.
his mind was overflowing with emotions.
He gripped his bag tighter, his hands were cold.
He arrives. He walks in to his house.
Every bone in his body were trembling.
He walks quickly to his room, shove the bag with the rope in it under his bed.
His eyes welled up with tears.
His voice was shaking.
Someone knocked at his door.
"Sunwoo? We need to talk." Sunwoo's father; Seo Jaehyuk said.
"Uh-wh-what?" Sunwoo wiped his tears and sniffled.
"Sunwoo, are you okay? your eyes are red."
"Y-yes I'm okay." Sunwoo answered.
"Come on, It's time for dinner."
"Coming."
"Is this really going to be my, last dinner with them?" Sunwoo thought to himself.
Sunwoo sits.
"Sunwoo. Tell us why. Are you really out here wasting your opportunity to study??? Your teacher called us. You don't pass anything. You don't do school tasks, You cut classes. You fail in every single subject. Is this how you pay us back for raising you??? We didn't raise a monster!" Sunwoo's mother; Seo Yerin shouted at the dinner table.
"Yes you did. You raised me like this. I wouldn't be like this if only you were a good parent!" Sunwoo shouted back crying.
His mother, Yerin, slapped Sunwoo.
"Honey, stop-" Jaehyuk tried to stop her.
"You really are talking back now? Blaming how i raised you? Now I'm the problem? Look at your sister. Your sister Seo Yuna. We raised you bought the same way. She's the top of her class, she gets tons of awards, she stands out. But why can't you when we gave you the same exact treatment??? and now you blame how I raised you? The everyday I spent working 9-5 just to feed you and give you a roof to live in! This? This is how you pay me back?"
Yuna was smiling across the table proud of herself.
"YOU DIDNT RAISE US THE SAME. you raised me like you found me from the dumpster. Because she was your standard. You treat me like I'm not your son."
"Not my son?? You were my son not until you killed your true self. You failed in everything, You got one friend and it even looks like you hate him. Do you hate people that much?? Even us, your own parents. You can't even respect us!"
"How can I respect you when you can't even respect me! You never listen to me. You never hear out my personal thoughts and feelings. When it comes to opening up, you act like you're deaf. When I explain, you call it lying without even listening. You punish me for things that aren't even my fault. You treat me like a pet instead of your child!"
Sunwoo was crying all over. His face was red and eyes teary.
He pushes the table hard, walked out into his room and slammed the door shut.
[Inside Sunwoo's Room]
Phone: Jiho sent you a message.
Sunwoo takes his phone and opens the message.
*Hi bastard. Tomorrow, hand me a thousand dollars.*
"Huh? what is this shit talking about."
*Jiho sent a video.*
It was a video of Sunwoo at the bathroom.
"Wh-what? how did they." Sunwoo was stuttering.
He threw his phone across the room.
He took a fire extinguisher and crashed the phone into pieces.
He was crying non-stop. He was kneeling down, facing down, crying and letting it all out.
Doyoon texted Sunwoo too. but Sunwoo didn't receive it. The phone was in pieces.
*Hey Sunwoo, can we go eat ramen after class? :D*
and he was left on delivered.
Sunwoo took out the bag.
Sunwoo took out the rope.
He hangs it into his ceiling.
He pulls his chair underneath the rope.
Until..
"Sunwoo, stop!" Jaehyuk barged in and pushed down Sunwoo before he even hangs hisself.
Sunwoo was crying and hugged his father.
"Are you okay?"
"N-no. I'm not."
"You didn't have to do this!"
"I'm so tired.. I'm so tired of living this kind of life. I'd rather restart. I'd rather live another life."
Jaehyuk hugged Sunwoo.
[The Next Day]
Jaehyuk brings Sunwoo to school to make sure he's safe.
"See you later, Bye." Jaehyuk said and drove his car away.
"Bye." Sunwoo answered.
Sunwoo walked to school.
Doyoon came up to him.
"Hey, you left me on delivered last night! What happened?" Doyoon asked.
"Nothing. I was busy." Sunwoo answered.
"With what?"
"Whatever."
Then the trio came in. Soomin, Jimin, and Minji.
"Sorry we're going to be late." Sunwoo bowed, held Doyoon's hands and walked past them.
"Not so fast, Come here. guys, We're friends heree, where are you going??" Soomin said.
"What." Sunwoo asked.
"I thought we were friends? Come join us." Soomin invited them.
"No, thanks." Sunwoo refused.
"Why do you hate us?" Jimin asked.
"Because you guys are fuckers with no real friends." Sunwoo answered.
"Bro, let's not mess with them. We might get in deeper trouble." Doyoon whispered to Sunwoo.
"I don't give a fuck." Sunwoo answered.
"What the fuck did you just say to us??" Minji asked with a grin in her face.
Sunwoo kicked Minji in the stomach.
Jimin took a hit towards Sunwoo's head but missed.
Sunwoo pushed Jimin's head to the wall and took hits.
Soomin pushed Sunwoo through the wall and punched him in the face.
Sunwoo used his foot to kick Soomin's feet.
Soomin fell down. Sunwoo jumped on her.
Sunwoo left.
[During Class]
"What did you do that for??" Doyoon asked.
"They had too much confidence and pride. Acting tough but all they got are words."
The Bell rang signaling the end of classes.
As usual,
"See you tomorrow, Sunwoo byee" Doyoon shouted across the streets parting their ways.
"Bye." Sunwoo greeted back.
He walked to the bus stop. and came across Jiho.
"Nice to see you againn" Jiho greets him.
"Leave." Sunwoo said.
"Why? Are you scared I'm revealing the video to the whole school? Is that so?"
"I want you to just. Leave."
"No."
Sunwoo punched Jiho.
Jiho dodged and went for Sunwoo's feet. he took hits and Sunwoo fell to the ground.
Sunwoo stood up and took a random stick and stabbed Jiho with it in the eye. It bled excessively.
"Ah- Ah.. ah.." Jiho said on the floor, bleeding.
"Wh-what have I done." Sunwoo dropped everything.
His bag, all his books, and The stick.
He ran, crying. Not even aware what he was doing, or what was happening.
"Am I the villain?"
"What happened to me?"
"What did I do?"
"What am I supposed to do?"
"What am I gonna do?"
"Is this the end?"
He thought to himself while running, then. He stopped.
He stopped by a river.
He removed his shoes.
He took off his socks
and jumped.
People tried to stop him. But failed miserably.
He fell deep into the water.
Ripples shattered across the surface.
The cold swallowed him whole
and then a big sharp rock came clashing to his fall.
He hits his head.
The water turns red.
His eyes starts to close,
He loses consciousness.
It's over.
