In the corner by the window, sat a pair of students who were already known as the fastest gossip observers in their class.

"Did you see the school news this morning?" Anna asked.

"About the transfer student? Having trouble with the student council?" Nolan replied.

Anna nodded while sipping her drink.

"They say she’s insisting on getting her graduation exam certificate, but I heard her data isn’t complete," Anna said.

"I heard she hasn’t submitted the final project proof yet. And now she’s demanding things. It’s like... she’s looking for trouble, right?" Nolan remarked.

"Hey, but... do we actually know all the facts?" Anna asked.

"Well... not really. Just what we heard from the school news and people talking," Nolan replied.

Anna stared out the window, sighing softly.

"But why does it feel like we’re judging her without evidence?" Anna said.

Nolan fell silent. Then, he responded quietly:

"Sometimes gossip is like a virus. We don’t realize we’ve spread it," Nolan said.

Outside the window, Liora stared at the rain falling on the glass. She didn’t know their names. But those last words... they lingered.
