Unexpected Support

May 04, 2025

Liora spent several days full of tension, barely able to sleep, constantly thinking about her next move. Every corner of Blackridge Academy felt like a trap, and the longer it went on, the harder it was to distinguish who could be trusted and who was just pretending.

However, one thing that made her feel a little calmer was the conversation that took place a few days earlier with Mrs. Beatrix, the wise and unflappable Guidance Counselor. Although Mrs. Beatrix didn't hold the power like Celestine or Severin, she had a broader perspective and often saw the other sides of many issues that happened at Blackridge.

On a rainy afternoon, as Liora returned to the Guidance Counselor's office after days of avoiding it, she found Mrs. Beatrix sitting at her desk, gazing at the sky with an unusual expression. When Liora entered, Mrs. Beatrix immediately looked at her with full attention.

"Liora, come in. I know you want to talk," she said.

Liora was slightly surprised but calmly took a seat in front of the Guidance Counselor's desk. Beatrix didn’t say much, only offering a faint smile that seemed to understand Liora’s feelings.

"I know about the photo you sent," Mrs. Beatrix said, breaking the silence in the room. "I’ve checked everything, and I trust you. There’s no reason not to trust you."

Liora looked at her with eyes full of hope, though still somewhat skeptical. "You believe that I sent the photo as I said? If they say I manipulated the data..."

Mrs. Beatrix nodded, showing strong conviction. "Yes. I believe that you weren’t involved in it. Liora, I’ve been watching everything happening at Blackridge for a long time. The Student Council might hold power out there, but I know you’ve done what’s right. There’s no evidence that supports their accusations, and I trust you."

Liora felt a weight lifting off her chest, though there was still much to face. "Thank you, Mrs. Beatrix... But what can we do? Everyone at this school is afraid of the Student Council, and I’m just one person."

Mrs. Beatrix looked at her with a gentle, understanding gaze. "Sometimes, one person can make a difference, Liora. You’re not the only one feeling pressured. Many other students feel like you, but they’re too afraid to speak up. If you have enough evidence, we can find a way to expose all of this, even if it’s not easy."

Liora felt a little relief hearing Mrs. Beatrix’s words. Even though she still had to fight against the powerful forces of the Student Council, she knew there were some people who supported her. And although there was no guarantee of victory, at least she wasn’t alone.

"I won’t stop looking for the truth, Mrs. Beatrix," Liora said, with determination starting to grow inside her. "We will expose this, no matter how big the obstacles are."

Mrs. Beatrix smiled faintly, then stood up and walked over to Liora. "Remember, never be afraid to reveal the truth, Liora. If you’re right, you will never be alone."

Liora felt a little stronger. "Thank you, Mrs. Beatrix. I will continue."

Liora Evans, a brilliant yet mysterious transfer student, enters Blackridge Academy, an elite school renowned for its exceptional academic reputation—but also shrouded in dark secrets lurking in every corner. Though she hopes to live out quiet days, Liora becomes the target of slander on her very first day.

Within an internal student council forum, a malicious accusation spreads swiftly: Liora is accused of stealing the graduation exam certificate by manipulating data and fleeing before the final evaluation. Even though Liora has provided evidence and completed all her assignments, no one believes her. The Student Council at Blackridge—more powerful than the teachers—is ruled by the authoritative and cunning president Celestine Wolfe, along with her equally formidable board: Severin, Elise, and Arlo.

Faced with this injustice, Liora realizes this is no simple misunderstanding. It is a calculated scheme to destroy her reputation. With firm resolve, she decides to uncover Case 17—a case that reveals data manipulation, abuse of power, and a systematic effort to bring down a student to protect the image of a corrupt organization.

As threats and dirty games from the Student Council intensify, Liora begins digging into the hidden truths behind the school and the pasts of its council members. Every step she takes is fraught with danger, and she must face a difficult choice: fight for the truth, or become a pawn in the dark game orchestrated by Celestine and her group.

With the school bell tolling, Liora prepares to enter the shadowy world of Blackridge—filled with conspiracies, rivalries, and secrets far greater than she ever imagined. Now, she isn’t just fighting to defend herself, but to expose a truth that could change the face of the entire elite academy.

Case 17 has just begun.
