Liora and Renata moved silently toward the old server room beneath the library—a place where old Student Council documents and digital archives were kept.

Renata held a keycard—an inheritance from a former council senior who had graduated without leaving any trace behind.

“If we can find the data manipulation logs and the original decision letters, we can reopen your case—and others,” she whispered.

Liora nodded. Her heart was racing, but her steps were steady.

Inside the server room, they found the manual log cabinets and internal monitoring terminals. Renata powered up an old computer, her fingers dancing across the keyboard.

“Here… A deletion order for student record transmissions. Authorized by Severin… and validated by Celestine.”

Liora’s eyes sharpened. “That means they deliberately made it look like my data disappeared.”

While they were downloading the files onto a flash drive, footsteps echoed from above. Renata immediately shut off the monitor and pulled Liora behind a cable rack.

Someone entered.

A silhouette appeared—it was Arlo, a Student Council member.

He stood still for a while, scanning the room. But he found nothing. When he finally left, Renata and Liora emerged quietly.

“We can’t keep this on a regular laptop,” Renata said, glancing at the flash drive.

“We need a safe place to store it… and someone who can help us make it public.”

Liora looked up at the night sky through a crack in the storage window.

“We’ll send it to someone they can’t control—the school media. But not directly.”

That night, they left the underground room carrying the strongest evidence they had ever found.
