“Are you sure it was just one flash drive?” Renata asked, holding her breath. “It was the only one left… the others got corrupted during the transfer.”

Renata fell silent. “Celestine is moving fast. She knows we’re close to bringing her down.”

That afternoon, an unexpected announcement was made:

“Surprise inspection of all Student Council members' devices and files will be conducted to maintain the integrity of the organization.”

Liora and Renata knew—this wasn’t an inspection. This was an erasure.

In the dead of night, they snuck into the old IT room. Behind one of the old computer racks, Renata showed Liora something:

“I managed to back up part of the logs onto this offline server. But it hasn’t been recovered yet. We need help.”

The next day, Liora sought out the one student at Blackridge Academy who was known for his genius with systems and data recovery: Jules Marwick. He was a quiet, bookish student in the technical class who almost never socialized.

Liora handed him the backup hard drive. “I know you don’t like drama, but this is about justice for every student in this school.”

Jules stared at the hard drive for a moment. “It’ll take time. But if this really exposes the Student Council scandal… I’m in.”

That night, Jules began working. Meanwhile, in the Student Council office, Celestine stared at the projector screen. The security camera footage showed the shadowy figures of two people sneaking around in the middle of the night. Their faces weren’t clear, but their height and movements… were suspicious.

Celestine turned her gaze to Elise and Severin.

“Find out who they are. And if it’s them… make them silent. Forever.”
