He enters, scans everything with slow interest.

“I need a discreet fix. No questions asked.”

He places a damaged surveillance drone on the table.

Yuji (hesitates):

“This isn’t exactly… legal tech.”

Kusabimaru (casual):

“Money’s clean?”

Nakatomi (smiles faintly):

“More than clean. It’s generous.”

He leaves after placing an envelope. Yuji opens it—thick wad of cash.

Someone watches the garage through binoculars. It’s a young agent—Nari, working under the same man from the end of Episode 12.

Nari (radio):

“Confirmed. The Hatayo kid’s alive. He’s working out of a garage in Shibuya.”

Voice on radio:

“Keep watching. No contact yet.”

The drone hovers, beeping perfectly.

Yuji:

“Done. But we wipe the logs. No tracking data leaves with it.”

“You sure that’s smart?”

Yuji:

They deliver the drone to Nakatomi. He doesn’t smile—but nods approvingly.

Nakatomi:

“Your father would be proud. You’ve inherited more than just his hands.”

Yuji (tense):

“What do you know about him?”

Nakatomi (walking away):

“Ask the right people. Or wait until they find you.”

He looks around. No one.

“And in the city of light… the darkest spark had just landed.”
