Yuji leaves. Kusabimaru stays, wind howling around him.

“I didn’t mean to betray you.”

Kusabimaru (quietly):

“You betrayed him. That’s worse.”

He walks away. Slams the door. Ito collapses to her knees.

“Yeah. And I loved her.”

Kusabimaru:

The servers explode. Everything is lost.

Ito leaves Tokyo. She clutches a photo of the three of them—laughing.

She places it in a station trash bin and steps onto the train.
