Ryo adjusted his clothes and wiped his face to not let anyone know what had happened in the simulation just a few seconds before the simulation ended. As Ryo composed himself after exiting the simulation barely keeping tears from flowing down once again, he noticed that everyone around was staring at him in disbelief, Ryo who wasn't thinking properly was puzzled maybe even slightly scared.
'Why are they even looking at me like that what the fuck do they want from me?! Why- Ah right. I forgot all these DAMNED PEOPLE WERE RAISED to hot headed to these idiots me being last place is a surprise they think I'm perfect or something. What do these people know about me to think like that?!' Ryo could barely keep his thoughts rational the impact of the simulation lingered.
As Ryo barely tried to keep himself rational The Third, Lux had entered the hallway with a heavy and loud tone he cleared his throat signalling to all those who were there to pay attention to him.
Lux walked to a certain point and then stopped to face all the candidates and then spoke in a calm and comforting tone.
"Hello candidates, with the final test being over, all your results were now collectively sent to all the squads. And as we all know a few candidates have been selected by the Division squads. Lastly, before I announce the ones who had been selected, to all those who are sad that they placed so low, don't be. You all will still be allowed to join the army and can increase in ranks."
The faces of some of the people had slightly brightened up. What they feared did not happen, they became optimistic and began to dream once again. They began to believe that they too would soon reach the higher ranks.
'What a load of bullshit. Increase their ranks? How? How do they expect the dead ones to increase in ranks? Do they think everyone is dumb enough to not know about the situations most 'soldiers' experience? They'll all be sent off to some faraway planet away from everything. Nobody will care if they die. It's stupid, one would ask themselves why do 'this'? It doesn't make sense to lower the numbers However it does.'
sigh~
'I need to go back home. I hope they wrap this bullshit up quickly.' Ryo was tired all he wanted was a rest and perhaps a distraction which allowed him to stray away from his thoughts.
Lux's voice roared once again as he began the announcement, "Now then, I will be revealing those who have received offers from Squad's."
"Firstly, Shinzo Akabe has received an offer from 1st Division Squad 6."
Everyone turned around stared at the one who's name had been taken. They had a look of anticipation on their faces thinking about how many tales he'd be able to make. While others did not pay much attention at all as they were only waiting for their name to be called.
"Next up. Lisa Kang has received an offer from Main Division Squad 2."

The sounds of claps echoes ahd everyone present had given an 'obligatory' clap for being selected in a Main Division squad, to them being selected into Main Division meant being at the top of the world.
'How can people be so FUCKING STUPID?! IT'S A DAMN WAR!! WHY? Why.. does no one take this seriously?! These 'instructors' seem to only make these so called tests for their amusements and these people I'm surrounded by seem to only think of fame and glory. What good will it even do if your life isn't safe?' As Ryo made such remarks Lux once again announced another name.
"Li Fei has received an offer from Main Division Squad 6."

'How much long- ' Before Ryo could finish yelling in his head once again Lux announced.
"Finally, the last candidate who has received an offer is... Ryo, from the Main Division Squad 8. "
Another obligatory clapping could be heard from all around the place. Everyone stared at Ryo slightly amused, scared and maybe even excited. As the announcement concluded whispers could be heard everywhere talking about Ryo's offer. However it was the least of Ryo's worries right now.
