4.

Tea party

Me and Henry were at the table -round oak tree with a white tablecloth with detailed ends and a vase with roses in the middle- while Beatrice found plates, glasses  and forks for us. 

“What do you guys want to drink?” Beatrice asked while she was placing the plates, glasses and forks down.

“Do you have Yogi Green Chai Tea?” I questioned her. Her face started to look concerned. “Only if you have it though. If you don’t then it’s fine. If you don't, I'll just have apple juice thanks.” I quickly insisted. Now Beatrice and Henry’s face’s looked both concerned and shocked. They stared at each other. Henry tilted his head to the right. 

“Uhm we don’t have Yodi Green Chai tea?” Beatrice said, still looking concerned. “But we have apple juice. How about you sweetie?” She added. 

“Uhh just some apple juice, thanks.” Henry answered. 

Beatrice went over to the refrigerator and took out the carton with apple juice and an ice tea for herself. 

Beatrice came over to the table and put down the juice and ice tea. She opened the juice first.

 First she poured some juice into my glass and then Henrys. Then she took the cap, put it on the juice carton and put the juice further on to the table. She went to sit down at the table. As she sat down she flattened  her skirt. Beatrice then took the Ice tea right in front of her and poured some of it into her glass. 

“Here kids.” Beatrice said as she handed the plate towards us. I noticed that her nails were painted royal blue and black, the black ones had a hint of gold glitter.

I took one cookie and put it on my plate and then Henry took one too. Then Beatrice took the plate with cookies down next to her and also took one. 

I took my cookie and took a bite. When I took the bite it just came right off. Mh yummy. I smiled towards Henry. He smiled back. Henry looked back at his cookie and took another bite. His eyes shined with satisfaction at how good the cookie was. I also took another bite and looked back at my cookie. Then I took another bite and another and another and another. 

“Can I get another cookie?” I said when finished with the cookie. I looked up at Beatrice. She looked down and took the plate with cookies and handed them over to me. 

“Here you go sweetie” She smiled at me, her dimples showing. 

“Thanks” I took the plate and put it down beside me. I put the cookie I took on the plate. I handed the plate towards Henry ‘cause I saw he was also done with his cookie. “Want one?” I asked with a smile on my lips.

“Ah, yes thank you” Henry answered me stuttering. He smiled embarrassed at me. I smiled back and raised an eyebrow. It was a signal. “Oh, yeah, sorry” he said when he finally got the signal. He quickly took the plate. He put it down and took another one. 

I smiled and rolled my eyes at him. I looked down at the plate and I was about to take another bite when BANG!

The door flew open and some royal guards came in.

I screamed out of shock when they came in. They all had guns loaded in their hands. Beatrice stood up right away and went to cover us. Beatrice looked stressed and scared, she had her eyes completely shut. Henry started to tear up, and hugged me. I hugged Henry back as I started to tear up as well. 

One of the guards came up to us. He took Beatrice by the collar of her shirt and threw her away from us like she was nothing. 

She screamed as she flew across the room and landed up against the wall. Beatrice groaned when she landed. Two guards came up to her and held her down so she couldn’t escape. 

The guard in front of me and Henry took him and threw him on the ground next to Beatrice. One of the two guards close to Beatrice, went over to Henry and also held him up by the wall. 

Now the guard in front of me took my wrist and pulled me off the chair. He dragged me across the room. I screamed as loud as I could and struggled to get out of his grip but everytime i did he would tighten his grip on my wrist. He kept dragging me until we were at the entryway. I looked over at both of them and saw the fear in both of their eyes. I was crying and sobbing uncontrollably. 

The rest of the guards let go of Beatrice and Henry 

and followed me and the guard holding my wrist. The guard holding my wrist let go and made me stand on my feet. He guided me to the car that was outside. 

But to my surprise… dad? My dad is outside?

What could he possibly want from me to do this? I look at him in shock. I was flabbergasted.  

“How dare you leave the house without my permission” He said ‘my’ in a very strict tone that sent chills down my spine.

He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. “So? Answer me!” He yelled.

“I’m sorry dad, it won’t happen again” I looked down at my feet. I started to tear up. I was scared. My breathing became faster. My heart was pounding like crazy. I could feel my heartbeat in my ear. And my dad came over to me slowly. He said to the guard to let go of me. The guard did as he was told and let go. My dad then took both my wrists and guided me towards the car. 

“Guards! Get into position 7!” He yelled at the guards. He let go of my wrists. All of a sudden all the guards came outside and stood around the car. Xavier -my personal guard- opened the door for me to enter. I hesitated before entering the car. I looked back at Henry’s entrance. They both came to the entrance and still looked shocked as ever. Henry was still sobbing as Beatrice held him by her side. I turned around and sat in the car. I was on the verge of tears. 

Xavier sat next to me and closed the door behind him. What’s going to happen now? That I cannot answer. I was nervous about what they had done to Bea and Henry, they looked like they'd seen a ghost. They were both balling their eyes out. And seeing them cry made me cry. Xavier hugged me and held me. He put his hand on my cheek and wiped my tears away.  He tried to turn towards me but it didn’t really work because of the seatbelt. He was struggling. But after some time of struggling.  

“Fuck the seatbelt”  He said in a low tone so my dad wouldn’t hear him but still loud enough for my to hear him. He unbuckled his seatbelt and sat closer to me so he could hug me better. He held me close. My seatbelt scratched my neck. I started to cry harder as the seatbelt pressed against my neck. “Shh, it’ll all be okay” He said calmly as he played with my hair. And it helped to be honest but I was still crying. My dad came barging in the car and slammed the door, bang! so I flinched. The whole car was shaking. He put his seatbelt on and put his hand on the steering wheel.

“Xavier let go of my child please,” Xavier did as he told him to. He knew what would happen if he didn’t. My dad is a very short tempered man to be the king really. “Lara, once we get home you're grounded” He snarled angrily at me. He started the engine and drove off. The guards that were surrounding the car ran after the car. They’re footsteps sounded like one big clap because they took a step at the exact same time.
