Fang Ruoye and Luo Xianxian retreated to the guest room for the night, but the Jiang brothers remained in the living room.
"Your private investigator did a remarkable job tailing Luo Yanming thus far," Jiang Wei told Jiang Cheng. "Thanks to you, we have proof of that bastard's infidelity."
"Everything has been kept in this flash drive," Jiang Cheng said, pushing a brown envelope toward Jiang Wei. "Eldest Brother, what is your plan? We could have used it to drain Luo Yanming's entire savings, but Ruoye is too kind. She signed the divorce papers as soon as they were served."
"Ruoye doesn't need that bastard's money."
Jiang Yue leaned backward and draped both arms around the couch rest.
"Besides, just because she cannot ruin him at court, it doesn't mean that the materials are completely useless. We can always use them whenever we need to."
Jiang Cheng poured his two brothers a glass of whiskey each.
"That's right."
The glasses made a clinking sound when they toasted.
"To Ruoye and Xianxian."
"May they find happiness, far, far away from Luo Yanming."
Jiang Yue and Jiang Cheng left soon after.
Jiang Wei, clad in a bathrobe after a shower, stood by the floor-to-ceiling window in the master bedroom and made a call to his assistant.
"Mr. Jiang Wei, hello. Is there anything I can do for you?" 
The assistant was used to receiving Jiang Wei's call twenty-four hours seven days a week.
"Yes... Sell away all my shares for Luo Tech and pull out of their expansion project. I no longer wish to participate, now or in the future."
"Yes, Sir."
Jiang Wei ended the call with a sigh.
Seven years ago, when Fang Ruoye began dating Luo Yanming, Luo Yanming was just an average IT engineer in one of the companies that operated under Phoenix Trading International.
Luo Yanming dreamed about owning his own company, so Fang Ruoye worked hard to support his dream.
The Jiang brothers offered to help financially, but Fang Ruoye gently rejected them.
She didn't want to take money from the Jiang brothers to give to Luo Yanming. She was the one who wanted to help Luo Yanming, so she should be the one to make the sacrifices.
Unbeknownst to Fang Ruoye, after Luo Yanming's company was launched, Jiang Wei invested in his most profitable projects and even introduced Luo Yanming to big clients.
If not for Jiang Wei's helping hand in the shadow, would Luo Yanming be able to stand up straight, with chin lifted high, and even have the guts to cheat on Fang Ruoye?
Everything Jiang Wei did was for Fang Ruoye and Luo Xianxian's sake. Now that they were both gone from Luo Yanming's life, Jiang Wei saw no reason to help Luo Yanming further. If anything, he was planning to destroy Luo Yanming bit by bit.
Meanwhile, Jiang Yue, who was on his way back home, also made a call to his manager.
"Ah-Yue, what's up?" His manager sounded sleepy.
"Manager Xu, sorry to wake you up. It is urgent, so I need to talk to you at once."
Manager Xu groaned while stifling a yawn.
"Oahmmmm... yes, so what's up?"
"There is a certain Hong Yinling, who recently asked to join our entertainment company, right?"
"Yes, yes. You told me that she is the best friend of your sister or something."
A cold glint flashed across Jiang Yue's eyes, accompanied by a chilling smile.
"Yes. Now, ditch her."
"Pardon?"
"I am telling you to ditch her."
"B-but, she already signed a contract with our company..."
"I am going to send you a video clip. Look at it and see if our company wants to represent such an immoral person and support her career in the future."
"Ah-Yue, wait..."
But Jiang Yue did not want to wait. After he ended the call, he forwarded Luo Xianxian's video recording to Manager Xu. 
Luo Xianxian, this smart child, managed to capture Hong Yinling's face and voice clearly. Although Jiang Yue did not want to distribute the video, he also did not plan on working in the same company as Hong Yinling.
In fact, Hong Yinling was nothing special.
Jiang Yue facilitated Hong Yinling's entry into his entertainment company because Fang Ruoye asked for his help. Hong Yinling herself did not know that Fang Ruoye had connections with Jiang Yue, an acclaimed actor and famous top model in the industry.

And Jiang Yue was going to destroy her career before it could take off.
Jiang Cheng did not go home that night. Instead, he went back to his law firm and went through all the incriminating pieces of evidence he had gathered against Luo Yanming.
Aside from the infidelity, Luo Yanming was not exactly a clean businessman. He had been systematically smuggling a substantial amount of undeclared profit and defrauding the primary stakeholders of his ventures.
Several of these stakeholders happened to be Jiang Cheng's most prestigious clients. They paid him a retainer fee for his monthly service. It was therefore imperative that Jiang Cheng go above and beyond the agreed scope of work.
If everything went down smoothly, Luo Yanming might end up serving several years behind bars. And Jiang Cheng's worth was going to become even higher.
Bearing that resolution in mind, he instructed his legal secretary to contact several clients and summoned them for private meetings.
