All my life I have been a good student. When I was younger the tutor my parents got me always told me I was quick to learn new things, and when I got old enough to use mana my mana instructor was also impressed by my growth, I was unstoppable

That was before I met Tokkou, once he saw my unrivaled potential he took me in as a student and I couldn't be more proud of myself. I followed all of his footsteps but while doing so I got lost, he was moving way too quick and I was unable to catch up, but that was fine by me

The higher the celling the more I could grow, that's what I thought but a single event changed the aspiring girl I was

The death of my parents left me heartbroken, it was an accident, I know it was but for some reason, I have this hate inside of me

I don't think Tokkou is the reason it happened, sure, he was the reason chaos broke out but he simply followed instructions directly from the king

Being the Grand Jack and all he can't refuse so I understand

Still, this hate is unbearable I feel like something bad will happen if I don't talk to somebody about it

I did talk to someone, it was the King of Hearts, and he suggested I take a break or a walk.

Since I couldn't take a break I took a walk, but it still didn't help, so I requested a guard to enter the castle once again

The king stared at me with a smile "You are hungry for more" He said, it was quite cryptic but he wasn't wrong

I needed to devour something or the hate will devour me 

So here I am, walking this creepy hall, a hall that seemed like it had no end, this place was very guarded, I didn't know why the king wanted me to get here

No way! A door, it's closed but the king told me it's okay to come here

The door is heavy, I can't open it, I push it but it doesn't budge

Suddenly it opened and I fell into the room the door hid, it was big but empty

For some reason, I feel a presence everywhere but I see nobody

I then felt this weird aura behind me but when I turned around my head was crushed by a mace

Everything went blank for a moment as I fell to the ground, I feel cold...

I died, or at least that's what I thought at the moment, but then, I saw something being injected into my body, it was weird, alien, then I truly died

I was no longer the student of Tokkou, I was simply Clair
