Episode 4 — The Forbidden Technique: Supreme Improvisation

The sun had barely risen, and Kael was already frowning, staring at the floating grimório as if it was supposed to answer him.

Sitting on a tree stump, he mumbled:

"Alright… yesterday I made the girl punch a rock. It worked. Today... I need to keep the pose. Can’t repeat the lesson. What if I pretend there's a legendary technique? With a cool name... and lots of shouting?"

The ghost yawned in the air and spun around him.

"How long are you going to keep improvising like this?"

"Until it stops working."

The grimório glowed, and a notification appeared with a mystical sound that resembled a microwave bell.

Description: An experimental high-impact technique. Only usable by individuals with full access to Vital Energy.

Kael’s eyes widened.

"Full Vital Energy? But… no one in this world can use it like this. You can only access a little bit at a time!"

The ghost froze in the air.  

"Congratulations. You're officially a bug with legs."

Kael stood up slowly, a sly smile creeping onto his face.  

"Great. Let's make history... even if by accident."

In the clearing, Lys trained hard, spinning her wooden spear and sweating as if she were about to face an angry, hungry bear.

She stopped when she saw Kael approaching.

"Master! What will today's training be?"

Kael spoke in a firm voice, as if he were about to lie with conviction:

"Today, you will only observe. What I’m about to show… is a forbidden technique."

Lys' eyes went wide.  

"Forbidden? Why?"

"Because no one has been able to perform it without… consequences."  

(He had no idea what he was saying, but he was enjoying himself.)

Kael walked to the center of the clearing. He took a deep breath.  

Tried to feel the flow of Vital Energy.  

Not aura. Not arcane core. Just… everything.

The grimório reacted on its own. A circle of light formed beneath his feet.  

The ground trembled. The air grew heavy.  

Then, with a simple gesture, Kael released the Vital Energy Disruptor Pulse.

An invisible wave exploded around him. The trees shook, Lys' spear fell to the ground, and she was lightly pushed back, as if an invisible force had struck her—not with violence, but with authority.

"M-Master... what was that?!"

Kael slowly opened his eyes. The energy still vibrated around him like static electricity.

"That, Lys... was true Vital Energy."

Lys collapsed to her knees, in shock.  

"This… this is impossible. Scholars say even the gods can't access all of it at once."

Kael turned his back, his cloak flaring heroically.

"Scholars… live bound by their own beliefs."

The ghost appeared beside him, whispering:  

"You know you just broke about ten laws of reality, right?"

"Only ten? I’m slowing down."
