The Villain: DRAGON DOMINATION

Bloodline Memories

Bloodline Memories

May 19, 2025

Chapter Two: Bloodline Memories

I had a very strange dream. I knew I was asleep, and everything I saw was a creation of my imagination. But, for some reason, I felt that every part of it was real.

It felt as though I were witnessing history—through someone else’s eyes.

I dreamed of a crimson dragon born within a volcano. It was like watching a long, endless film, with countless events unfolding before me.

In that dream, I could feel the flow of energy around me—and I learned how to control it.

The crimson dragon was unimaginably powerful, so much so that humans, elves, and demons were forced to unite against him after he devastated vast parts of the continent.

In response, countless mighty beings rose to challenge him—and yet, all of them fell to his overwhelming power.

Both the magic path cultivators and the spiritual energy path cultivators dominated the battlefields, but neither could defeat him.

He crushed a grand alliance of three races, sworn to destroy him. And yet… he triumphed.

Humans, the weakest of all, were the first to flee the battlefield.

But the elves and demons continued the war—even as it tore their kingdoms apart.

Suddenly, I was floating above a vast battlefield—one that seemed to mark the final, decisive clash between the crimson dragon and the allied armies of elves and demons.

Even the Elven King and the Demon King had joined the fight.

Their presence seemed to distort the flow of energy itself, as if they existed outside the natural laws of the world.

I watched their battle flatten mountains and shift landscapes, their every movement rewriting the face of the earth.

They cared nothing for the lives of their followers, who were dying by the thousands with each clash of their might.

The Elven King was a woman of regal grace, her beauty untouched by war. The Demon King had enormous horns and bat-like wings that blotted out the sun.

Chaos ruled the battlefield.

There were no flames, no lingering magic—only emptiness. The land had been carved into a vast chasm.

It felt as though the world had been split in two.

Two continents, born from a single wound.

When I turned to look at the dragon, our eyes met—and in that instant, a chill surged through my spine.

It felt as if those eyes had pierced through the barrier of space and time, descending directly upon me.

Through this dream, I learned many things.

I gained a name.

I learned how to train in the use of energy.

I came to understand the hierarchy of power within the energy system.

More precisely, I became familiar with the classifications used by the dragon race, which differs greatly from those of other beings.

Their system is divided into four main stages, each requiring immense time and effort to master.

Progression depends not only on personal talent, but also on the purity and strength of one’s bloodline.

The fourth and final stage—exclusive to dragons—is particularly unique.

Only after this stage does the power classification become unified across all races: humans, elves, demons, and monsters alike.

According to the dragons’ classification system, the first stage is:

The Hatching Stage – the moment a dragon emerges from its egg.

At this stage, the newborn dragon is granted a special name, as well as the name of its ancestor—the family lineage it descends from.

From there, the young dragon begins learning how to harness and sense the energy of the world around it.

He gradually prepares, absorbing and synchronizing with the memories stored within his bloodline.

Next comes:

The Little Dragon Stage.

Here, the dragon begins to fly and fully merges with the inherited bloodline memories.

This is considered the easiest stage.

The Teenage Dragon Stage follows.

It is the most perilous of all.

The dragon becomes ruled by instinct—especially its bloodlust—and gains experience through daily battles.

It is during this time that it forges its unique personality.

Then comes:

The Adult Dragon Stage, divided into two parts.

In the first part, the dragon achieves full harmony with its bloodline memories, solidifies its identity, and gains awareness of its aspirations.

The second part is known as:

The True Dragon Stage.

This is the pinnacle of dragonhood.

At this point, the dragon must undergo the Trial of Ascension—a catastrophe that tests everything it is.

If the dragon survives and succeeds, it gains the powers of a true dragon: Dragon Might, Dragon Domain, Dragon Knowledge, and True Dragon Spirit.

Only then is it recognized by all dragon clans as a true dragon.

But if it fails—and does not die—it will never be acknowledged as such.

It will be considered a sub-dragon.

A lesser being.

Knowledge began to surge through me like a river of ancient light bursting from the depths of my soul.

It wasn’t words or images, but pure sensation—etched onto the walls of my spirit.

In that moment, the secrets of the dragon lineage opened before me like a book written in fire and frost—inscribed in war and peace, in death and rebirth.

I realized that every sentient being—dragon, jinn, demon, or human—was bound to a shared system of bloodline classification: Ten Grand Ranks, each divided into five levels of purity.

From the most common natural bloodlines, where most creatures are born…

To the rare and majestic imperial bloodlines, granted only to those fated to rule the realms.

And as this truth unfolded within me, I felt a different heartbeat in my chest—one that did not belong to any human.

Something ancient had awakened.

With every pulse, I heard the voice of a dragon…

Whispering my name.

Through this vision, ancient knowledge flowed deeper into me.

It was as if I were reading from the soul of the dragon race itself.

Their bloodline system was burned into my consciousness—clear, absolute, unshakable.

All intelligent beings, regardless of race, were subject to it:

Ten great ranks,

Each with five degrees of purity.

I stood on the edge of memory, at the brink of a time long buried.

A battlefield stretched out before me—endless and broken.

The sky was painted in blood, and the earth split open like it had sighed beneath the weight of destruction.

At the heart of it all stood the crimson dragon—alone.

Like a mountain of frozen fire, his presence radiated both dread and awe, casting its shadow across every soul.

Before him stood the Elven Queen, graceful as moonlight, her eyes heavy with sorrowful nobility.

Beside her, the Demon King loomed—his horns touching the clouds, his wings stretching across the horizon like darkness incarnate.

This was not a battle between three powers.

It was a clash between ancient wills—each determined to remake the world in its own image.

Mountains trembled.

Plains shattered.

Forests turned to ash.

Every strike felt like the end of an era.

Every roar carved a legend into existence.

Their armies?

Dust in the wind.

None of the three looked back.

They had left kingdoms, thrones, and blood behind.

I watched the earth split beneath their feet.

Continents were torn apart.

Rivers were diverted.

Cities vanished into the abyss.

And with every moment…

The dragon’s eyes drew closer to mine.

Not as an enemy.

But as a mirror.

And in that reflection…

I saw it.

Something that lives inside me.

A bloodline.
